    Century Chimney Sweep Inc
This crew was so friendly, and so professional. "Graham" was the name of the sweep that arrived here. They ran a camera all the way up the inside of my chimney, and found a hole where someone apparently had vented something else into it in the past. Smoke, sparks and heat could have got into my attic if they had not found this. They might have saved us from a very bad situation! They also installed a cap to keep animals out, filled in a small hole in our fireplace wall, and put our damper plate back on track.

    Top Hat Chimney Sweeps Inc
I hadn't been using my fireplace because I hadn't had the chimney checked for a long time. Tom was a little late for his appointment but he called to let me know, which I appreciated. After he checked the chimney, he told me the chimney was clean and he wasn't going to charge me for a service I didn't need. He did a thorough check of floor, walls etc. and only charged me for a basic service call. I recommend him and I would use him again.

    Century Chimney Sweep Inc
Called office and spoke with Bob. I told him that the chimney had a blockage and he told me that "they do not do appliance vents". He said they only do liners. He then proceeded to tell me to contact a plumber. Plumber? I then looked at their website and see that they do perform all chimney services so I called him back to clarify this is indeed a chimney that needs cleaned and/or repaired. He then stated that "if the furnace is vented to the chimney that they won't service those, only service ones with fireplace". It just doesn't make sense. It also contradicts their website page that describes the process of putting in a new liner to vent the furnace up the chimney. I have gathered from these two conversations that either Bob is sabotoging business for the owner or he is a complete moron. Either way that the owner has allowed this person to be the first point of contact of his business and losing clients because of it. Hopefully Gary the owner will read this review.

    Zemco Roofing & Repairs Inc
We have used zemco 3 times now. Brian is a great roofer and honest. He doesn't over sell and fixes what needs to be done for a fair price. Brian has always been on time and he not only shows up to look at a problem by fixes it while he is there. He is efficient and a hard worker. I wish all contractors were this great!

Here are the reasons we would caution potential clients to not use John Miller's services in any capacity. -John lied to us about filing for permits and getting city inspections. When we became suspicious and looked into it with the city, we found that they had absolutely NO record of any permits being granted, plans being submitted, or inspections taking place on our property by John Miller. -John's employees are unprofessional and inconsistent. He and his employees would often show up to the job site at 10AM or later and the staff he employed rotated frequently. -Some of the pictures on John's website do not appear to be his original designs. You can click on the images on his website and search them on Google to find the original sources. -Our new contractor has informed us that many of the prices John provided in his initial estimate were gross exaggerations. For example, he lists the cost of 1 bluestone monolithic step at ~$1,000 when, in fact, it's closer to $300/step.

    PPM Slate Roofing

Great work, and these guys really into old slate! commented many times about the condition of my "green
and grey Vermont slate "roof. An education for me, as I'm into old house stuff - this one's about 100yrs. They recover slate from
    demolitions when available.
Don't forget to ask them what else they can do while they're up on the roof..ended up w slate roof tune up inc repainting valleys, a new
section of gutter, new rake aluminum siding, having the peak painted, and chimney repointed! all for around $2500. (Thier initial estimate just for the roof was $1200. Another contractor gave me an estimate of $1400 just fort he rake siding.)
They did spot a divot on the porch roof, but they dont do asphalt shingles.
They also traveled each of the 2 project days from Pennsylvania to Cleveland, Ohio. Surprised me that they were considered local.

    Britishstoneworks LLC
Everything was done as promised and in a timely manner, especially given the unpredictability of Cleveland weather.  The quality of the masonry, and sub-contracted roofing, is great.  I would highly recommend Nick and his team.

    Professional Chimney Service Inc
They were very prompt, courteous and professional. They were clean, worked quickly and efficiently and answered all my questions.

They addressed my concerns and I could see the condition of my chimney watching the video inspection.

    Ace Wildlife Service
It went very well. Travis caught the animal in a short amount of time, assessed that it had come down through the chimney, went up to look at the top of the chimney, told us what we needed and how much it would cost, and then put the new cap on and sealed it. All in about an hour. It was an extra $60 because it was on a Saturday.

QPS Chimney Contractors Landscaping & Snow
The owner, Rob, came to my home and was very professional and helpful. He evaluated my chimney and sat down with me and explained what needed to be done now and what maintenance would be needed in the future.  My home is over 100 years old and will need more work down the road, but he was not pushy and took time to explain things very well.  I would definitely recommend this company for chimney needs.
