    I am a nurse and this pharmacy is affiliated by my work place. The overall experience with them has been really good. It is related to my work, so, I can drop off the prescription at work and pick up my prescription at work. I would definitely use them again.

    I know the pharmacist personally and I recommend them. I don?t use their services anymore because I use mail order service now. Bi-Lo is a super market where the pharmacy is attached to it. They were wonderful except for paying for it, which wasn?t their fault. They provide personal service. For instance, if I ran out of medicine and if it is on a Friday night with the doctor?s office being closed, then the pharmacist will give me some pills until I see the doctor. He did that more than once and he didn?t charge me. They would then call the doctor on Monday and get a prescription and fix me up. When we go to Florida which is 1500 miles from them, I would give him a call and he would transfer my prescriptions to the pharmacy closest to where we live in Florida and I buy them there. They were very helpful. I am not sure if they treat everybody the same, but they treated us that way. They were only seven miles away for us. If we wanted to shop at the Bi-Lo, then we could go to the pharmacy at the same time. I knew the pharmacist before we started shopping there. My experience with them was wonderful compared to what it is today. I would never be able to use them again because I need to get my prescriptions elsewhere. If I had a choice, then that is where I would go. I would go there for prescriptions that I don?t have to take everyday. They wouldn?t require me to go through the mail order service for that. They would allow me to go to the local pharmacy for pain killers and stuff like that. If need be, then I would definitely go there.

    They do a pretty good job.  They used to do a pretty bad job, but they are doing a really good job now.  I call ahead, they have a telephone service so you can call in your prescriptions.

    To tell the entire story, would be simply too tiresome, and I fear I would run out of characters, therefore, I shall seek to summarize and still try to give you insight into what has transpired over the last 45 days plus. We have a family member who has a serious illness, and Medco was made aware of this in over THIRTY phone calls, about medications, that they, were failing to ship. In each documented phone call, their stories were changing. The medication will arrive today, no tommorrow. Then, we needed to contact our Doctor, there was a problem. There was even an instance, where both a supervisor and pharmacist from MEDCO where on line with us, and we told them, lets get the DOCTOR on the phone, and get this taken care of, as the medications are diar to the health situation, they ..THEY declined, citing they would have the meds here in 2-4 days. That was over 24 days ago. When questioned about that call, we were told, they did not know, why we told that, sorry. To mail a perscription to this company, is a TOTAL nightmare, to say the least. What normally takes, 7-10 days, now is taking nearly a month, in fact longer. Example: We mailed 2 perscriptions on Jan 10th 2011 we do not have them, to date, and according to them, ups has LOST them, and it is NOT their problem. They are not comping for med's which under contract they are to do. They are not concerned, about the lies, the medications, about anything, other than, Do you have INSURANCE, and MONEY to pay? It is super great the savings you get through this company, however, to go through such a nightmare as this, and have NO medication that you have already paid for as well as your insurance company, is NOT so great! My ABSOLUTE Do with this company, is RECORD and DOCUMENT DATE and get NAMES of every single thing that happens, incl the date you send your meds out. Every time you make a call, get the name, write down the time you call, what they say, what you say, and ask to speak to supervisors, THEY WILL TRY TO KEEP YOU FROM IT, INSIST, INSIST, to speak to them anyway, and continue your documentation, you WILL need it. As for our situation, it is now UNDER INVESTIGATION, thankfully, we do have a Union and they are making the giant, pull EVERY PHONE RECORD, which will show, exactly, what they have told us, meaning? Someone, and then, someones, someone, is most likely, is as we call it, HOT water. It is sad, that we live in day, wherein we MUST keep records of EVERYTHING, down to words spoken by another, however this is that day, so remember DO just that and Good Luck should you go with this Big Money saving Headache of a company !
