    Poochie Bath & Boutique LLC
This place is dirty and smells like cat pee. They recycle the bathing water and dont measure the shampoos correctly. They also give everyone different prices, no consistant price list. The owner and main groomer are both very rude!!! The actual haircuts aren't that bad, but the bathing and the customer service is horrible.

    BIG TIMES KENNEL
Top notch!  I could not be happier with the experience and even better - our dogs could not be happier!
We have two rescues (a 20 lb Spaniel mix and 50 pound Shepherd mix) who have never been boarded although we've had them for 4 years.  I was always reluctant, fearing they'd think they were going back to the shelter.  I visited several boarding facilities and called even more.
Once I spoke with and then visited Big Times Kennel I knew I'd found the place.  They were very accommodating, kenneling them side by side and even letting them visit with each other.  They patiently answered my many questions. They have the best prices around and the best part is that the dogs have access to the kennel run 11 hours a day and can be outside as much as they want (in a safe and secure way).  This place is CLEAN, the owners are on the property and they have back up generators and safety/fire monitors.  John and Maureen understand nervous pet parents as well as the dogs (and really care about them).
Now - this isn't your fancy kennel with TV's playing 24-7 with posh human beds and add ons like doggie ice cream for $5 a pop - but it doesn't need to be.  The dogs are so engaged and interested in their surroundings and most importantly, not cooped up in the equivalent of a large crate except when you pay for "extra attention" or "walks".  They get human interaction on a regular basis, super clean surroundings, and access to fresh water 24/7- take note all other kennels.  THIS is the way you do it.
When we picked up our pups they did not want to leave.  We will absolutely use Big Tiimes again and have no qualms about doing so.  We came home to happy, healthy, clean and tired pups.
Very grateful I discovered this gem.

    Exclusively Posh Pets
All of this review is for the groomer I use. At any pet groomer, the service and quality is specific to the actual groomer. My groomer is Traci.
I called the day before, for an appointment. I was given an 8:00 slot.
I arrived just before 8, and was promptly greeted at 8.
The desk attendant took all of the information, and updated the record.
Please note: They will no longer accept dogs unless the vaccination record is up to date. They would either call my vet, or I could show proof of being up to date, which i  had.
They then took the leash and led the dog back.
They gave me an approximate time that the dog would be ready, but they will always call when the dog IS ready,
I did receive the call fairly close to when they said.
When I went in, my dog was ready, and brought out on a leash.. He looked GREAT. Also, he did not seem to be stressed at all.
I paid for the services rendered and left a tip for groomer . They do take most credit cards, and of course, cash, which I used.
Please note: This business has moved to a NEW location, and are in the same building as Alex-Bell Veterinary Clinic . Also their full name is Exclusively Posh Pets.

    Bubbles N Bows
From the outset, everyone was kind, graciously took my non slip rrugs and laid them down for him to make progress, picked them up again and put down again for next lengths until reached spacious kennel in which he could repose. Listened attentively and agreeably to using 4 different shampoos/conditioners that I brought with me...not a hint of resistance or annoyence with such a demandIng customer. When I returned, again being considerate of his mobility, he was in the grooming room with the group in a pen with raised sling cot, happy as could be. Could see my non slips had been used to get him to the table too, they just didnt pay lip service, but thought about the comfort and care from the beginning to end. This was how my most recent grooming appointment went with Bubbles n Bows. But I can attest to this level of care and dedication being the norm for the last 24 years that I have had bouviers and had the good fortune to be referred to Dana, aka edwina scissorhands, as the one talent in Dayton who could do a proper bouvier cut.

    Bubbles N Bows
I'd love to give Bubbles and Bows "what they deserve", as it would be as low a score as you've ever had, however, it was 5 years ago and too far in the past to rate them on it. I will NEVER go back.

    GROOMINGDALE'S
They are very professional and they all seem to love their job.  They care very much about the comfort level of the dog and they do a good job.  If they have to do something other then what they told you, they give a call ahead of time to get permission.

    Bigger Road Veterinary Clinic
They do veterinary work and they also haircut which I like because I don’t have to take her to another place with a bunch of strange dogs barking.  My dog is already used to this place and it is more convenient.  It’s like a one stop shop.  I would tell other members that it is convenient and they have pick and drop off hours.  They are really friendly and the price is right.  They are familiar with my pet because I take her there all the time for shots and stuff like that.  It just seems to work out well for me and for my dog.

. We were looking for a groomer for our 14 yr old Westie. We found this groomer on Angie's List. We inquired by e-mail , received a prompt reply and made an appointment. The staff took a reasonable medical history so as to make the experience easier on the older dog. They do not cage the pet so the grooming took less than two hours. We were very pleased with their work and their overall service to us. We will use them again.

    Pawprint Grooming
Another groomer failed to return my call and I knew that Pawprint was near my house so I stopped in to inquire. The owner told me that it was her day to be closed but she had come in for another dog with a bad case of fleas. Since she was already there she told me to go home and get my dog even though it was her day off. She did a great job and did exactly what I asked for. My long haired Golden got a complete sheering for summer and a great smelling bath and a new neck bandanna along with it ! The owner told me that she has 30 years grooming experience. The shop is bright and clean, professionally equipped, conveniently located on a major highway and there is a large play area with a doggy swimming pool in the back yard. I had checked other groomers rates for the service I needed and Pawprint was HALF of the other rates. They even offered to make arrangements for me to bring my dog in at 6;30 AM before work if I needed to. They offer pet day care as well (but not overnight boarding) however for my upcoming vacation they have agreed to pick the dog up at my house each morning, keep him for the day and return him home each night until I return . For this service the charge is $10 per day which is again less than half other rates. I could not have found a better place for the service I needed.

    GROOMOBILE INC
I called Groomobile after they were recommended by my vet. I have a Pomeranian who DOES NOT like to be groomed even by me!  Tracey, the groomer who came out,  was actually early and extremely nice and good with my dog. She did not want me to sedate her and was not afraid of her aggressiveness at all which was impressive. My dog actually warmed up to her very quickly.
The grooming took place in the truck in front of my house and I was on the porch and could hear it was going well. She never shouted and talked very soothingly to my dog. I saw other reviews, and there was no screaming or being choked by harnesses. I watched a lot of it! Most of the time, however, I was on my front porch and could hear everything she was doing. My dog IS a screamer and there were no screams!
Apparently there was a miscommunication about how much hair I wanted off though. She was beautiful and very poofy after being blown dry and combed out so I didn't pay as much attention as I should have because I was so thrilled it went so well! I'd also had an upsetting call during the grooming and guess I hadn't quite recovered from it so I really wasn't "with it".  I had discussed with the groomer, Tracey,  to cut down the entire underside to the skin for summer, but leave the curls on her chest. She just did her "private" area and left the rest long. I even talked about how having it all trimmed helped keep her cool in the summer. Then we talked about how others had told me that on Poms if you take too much off anywhere else, it doesn't grow back well or at all. She told me NOT TRUE, so I said go ahead and trim her short then. I wanted a summer cut that would last ALL summer!
I called to explain this to the company and talked with Kim, who is apparently the owner? In any case she kind of made light of it and said they wanted to make me happy so they would call within the next couple days to schedule a re-do since I was a new customer. I was thrilled since I'd made the decision to pay that much to a groomer to begin with. Long story short...they never called back. I was so disappointed. Now I'll have to take her somewhere else to finish the job.
I rated them "D" on price because they apparently don't take any off if nails or teeth don't have to be done, and most groomers do it ALL for an average of $35. The $50 made sense because of the convenience and travel but the added $15 seemed a little much since I'm just down the road from Beavercreek where they are apparently based. I still went through with it and gave Tracey a $5 tip for a total of $70 because she was so nice and great with my dog. The "D" for professionalism was not for the groomer but for the company. If they didn't intend to finish the job as expected they should've said so. I also do not think that a light trim like I got (which I did not ask for as Kim stated I said) should NOT cost $65. NOT a good way to keep or impress a new customer!
