Diane spent the entire day with us in our home. She listened to what we were looking for as we prepared to redo our kitchen and master bathroom. Given that we were taking our walls, she drew a thorough kitchen/living/dining room layout (including lighting!). Given that plans evolved over time, she has continued to provide input via email for everything from lighting to furniture placement. Since remodeling, we have continued to decorate and fill rooms over the past 2 years. Our package included lifetime design support for the 5 rooms, and Diane continues to provide input as requested on exactly what shape and size pieces we need to complete our space.

    Craftsmen Home Improvements
This was my first experience with a remodel of this extent, and it couldn't have gone smoother. I chose this company based on a friend's experience and from seeing their work at a home show earlier in the year. The work involved: removing a large Jacuzzi tub, replacing it with a smaller one; removing a very small shower, replacing it with one twice the size; removing all cabinetry, replacing it with taller cabinets with a quartz countertop and new sinks and fixtures; replacing all tile; reworking a small amount of plumbing, replacing the toilet; replacing carpet with ceramic floor tile, replacing light fixtures. The room remained the same size but everything in it was replaced. Kevin gave me excellent guidance in establishing the design of the room and in selecting all of the materials. Having a showroom available was very helpful in envisioning what the end result could look like. The contract clearly listed all of Craftsmen's responsibilities as well as mine. Kevin kept me apprised of when the work could start and always answered my questions promptly. The construction crew consisted of Rick and Troy, who were very professional and a pleasure to work with. Once the work started, they were dedicated for the two weeks it took to complete the job. They were here promptly every day. They were extremely hard workers and always cleaned up at the end of day. They gave me great guidance on various aspects of the project. They always consulted with me before installing various elements of the remodel so that there was no confusion or mistakes. The beautiful outcome is a direct result of their efforts. I would not hesitate to recommend this firm to anyone considering a remodel of this type.

It was good. We just had a meeting at my house and discussed things. She presented herself very well. I remember that we sat out on the deck- it was warm weather and she was very pleasant. She also followed it up with a note or phone call thanking me. I got her from Angie's list.

    Perkins Interiors
Gayle and her employees have great design sense and decorative skills. The first time they did work for us, they took a disorganized house filled with clutter and, in a week, transformed it to be fit for an estate sale. They took great care with my parents belongings, which had been accumulated over 30 years. They were pleasant and respectful during a difficult process. They were friendly and fun to work with as well.
The second time we hired them, it was to stage the house in order to sell it. While the house wasn't nearly as cluttered this time around, we did not have appropriate/matching furniture and decorative items to display the house well. Gayle and her crew brought in furniture and decorations from her store and reorganized the items we already had to coordinate with the items she brought in. In two days, they worked tirelessly to make another amazing transformation. Though the pictures taken before the staging made the house look mediocre, people are now telling us that it looks like a show house.
In both instances, after Gayle & Co. finished their work, we felt like we were walking into a new house. The changes were dramatic. Couldn't be more pleased!

That went good. She came out and went through my house and gave me some really good ideas. She was very efficient and very professional. She comes into peoples homes and tells them how to use their existing furniture. I would use her again.

    Your Space, Your Sanctuary
Nancy Gentry of Your Space Your Sanctuary was a big help in getting us organized and our thoughts together on how to layout our new retail store location in Beavercreek.  Not only did she help us with the layout and design of our store space and computer lab, she also took care of contacting local furniture and fixture suppliers that had the types of things we needed.  She even went to the supplier and came back with pictures and options. This saved us time and helped us get going.  Nancy made it very easy to get the office up and running quickly.  We have been very happy with the new space layout, the furniture, and the whole look and feel.  Our customers love it also.

    Hurst Total Home Inc
Katie Hurst was our designer and drew up the contract. She was very easy to work with, had extensive knowledge of materials and construction methods, and seemed to anticipate and adapt to our needs and preferences. She expeditiously helped us pick out tile, colors and fixtures that were within our budged, and even suggested tile placement patterns. Clay Baker was our forman and primary construction worker. We can't begin to praise Clay enough! He did most of the work himself, but brought in extra help when needed to tear out the old facilities. He brought in licensed plumbers and electricians when required and a company to provide the glass shower surround. He was meticulous in everything he did. He kept us well informed of his work plans and schedules and always consulted us when a decision was needed. His tile work was exceptionally beautiful. He always had a good suggestion to fix unexpected situations. For instance, when the tub and surrounding walls were removed, there was a flaw in the framing near where the shower bench was to be located. To get around the flaw, Clay suggested building a knee wall next to the shower bench. He did not charge extra for that and it turned out beautifully (added some welcome privacy for anyone sitting on the bench). He was very considerate of us and our house. Frequently we would leave the house in the afternoon while Clay was still working, and would return home that evening to find that he had secured the premises just as we instructed. While he was working he covered the doorway into the dressing area (which doesn't have an actual door to separate it from the bedroom) with a plastic sheet to keep the dust out of the rest of the house. He also placed carpet protectors from the front door through the house to the work area. The only delay came toward the end of the work when the glass shower door was mismeasured by the glass company and had to be remade - that took an extra week. The glass installer came back twice to put additional seals on the sides of the door to keep water from coming through the space between door and fixed panels and out onto the floor. All in all, we are extremely happy with our new remodeled bathroom and are certainly pleased with all the folks at Hurst.

We got the review, the assessment and we liked what she said. She has picked ( inaudible 00:56.7) colors for room to improve the look of the house and increase it's ( inaudible 01:04.8) ability. She was very generous with her time and even take a look outside for us to do external assessment. She did a great job and my beautiful bride was really happy!

Diane was really impressive.  She put together a design for my kitchen (lighting, flooring, general layout) and gave me paint chips for my downstairs bath and office -- all in one hour.  Really amazing ability.  The only problem I had was in scheduling the appointment in the first place, but once we finally locked in a date (after rescheduling once or twice), the experience was great.
