From my initial contact with Dayton Home Remodeling everything went well. The salesperson, Mike, was very informative and did not pressure me at all. He explained that the company was booked for months in advance, but I decided to sign with them. It was WELL worth the wait. My next contact was with the manager, Brian, he is very professional and informative. He addressed all of my questions and concerns. Finally, it was time to begin. I was then introduced to Richard; the fellow that would be rehabing my one and only bathroom. He is a talented craftsman and his attention to even the smallest detail is unbelievable. He did the demo, electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, flooring, tiling, and, finishing work. He explained the work in progess. He always showed respect towards me and my home. He was also very kind to my little dog, Rosie, and that is important, too! I am so pleased. This is the best home renovation of my life. Thank you, Richard, for making my ugly bathroom a beautiful bathroom. Gayle Ryan

Jason and his team were fantastic. They were reasonable on the price and the bathroom tiling and dryall work turned out better than I thought it would. I would recommend them to anyone looking to do home improvements. Very friendly and professional.

Dayton Home Remodeling replaced my bathtub with a shower stall. Richard did all the work and he provided high quality work. In addition there were a couple problems that had to be resolved and Richard provided good solutions. He also made several suggestions about how the tile should be completed. He suggested adding an accent strip of tile and it really added to the overall look of the stall and bathroom. He also made suggestions about small changes that I could make to the bathroom that would enhance the over all look of the room. I plan to implement several of them. Richard does very good detailed work and is dedicated to quality and his craft. Brian, stopped by several times to monitor the progress of the remodeling. Several time he commented to me that Dayton Home Remodeling was dedicated to producing remodeling work that would last 25 to 30 years and I believe him

Mr. and Mrs. Gregory and Melanie Sigler are the best in skills, work ethics, and friendliness. Melanie also has a great sense in color and styles. She made many suggestions to make the kitchen looks great and yet highly functional. They took great care of all the details in every part of remodeling. Make sure to ask Greg and Melanie for your kitchen remodeling needs. They are truly the best.

We hired Dave to install some ceramic plank tile in our great room. He showed up when he said he would and measured, then provided us with his price to complete the job. We checked around and his price seemed pretty reasonable so we hired him. Prior to starting he came by one more time to view the floor and commented that he was very pleased with the demolition of the previous tile and that we had prepared the floor very well for him. He had told us initially that he planned on it taking three days to complete the project but after the first day, which was on a Monday, he said it would actually take four days which was fine with us, no mention of any additional cost. However when he arrived Thursday morning he promptly told me it was going to take an additional day and that he would have to come back on Monday to finish the grouting because he had another project that he was supposed to start on Friday. I was very aggravated by that because we had several people lined up to help us over the weekend install new kitchen cabinets and help us to reach a minimum level of functionality in our kitchen, as it had been over a week since we had running water or ability to cook. I regret now not insisting that the he finish our project before he moved to another one but I didn't even though I felt it was completely unacceptable to cause us a delay in order to accommodate a new customer. He came back on Monday and finished the project and then presented a *revised* bill which plainly stated " 1 day additional labor $400.00". I refused to pay the additional labor because it was not our fault that he had underestimated the timeline for this project and in fact he had taken two extra days. We had changed nothing and there had been no unexpected problem with the project, it simply took more time than he had anticipated. We had a rather heated discussion but managed to end the conversation on a civil note. Dave did a good job installing the tile although there are several areas where the tiles are not level which he explained was a raised area in the concrete floor underneath but previous tile that had been there was level so I am not sure if that explanation is accurate. He also laid the tile in a pattern that is not recommended by the manufacturer as was plainly stated on the box. My husband was very unhappy about that but we did not specify how we wanted it installed so we accept the responsibility for lack of communication. To end on a positive note I do want to say that the flooring we had selected had approximately four to five different variation of tiles and rather than lay them haphazardly, he took the time to open several boxes and lay the tile in the most aesthetically pleasing manner which looks absolutely beautiful.

This project should have been terminated in the early stages. Unfortunately we stuck it out to what Urbieta considered complete. It was far from complete. We are having to go through the entire job to make up for their poor quality of work.

The woman came twice, her boss came once to re-measure, then nothing. She had quit and when I spoke with him he just gave me a price over the phone, I have no idea what was included, or not included. They must have enough business without mine.

Mike came out and gave us a thorough, fair estimate on the spot. Brian, our project manager, came out twice to do a walk-thru and gave us ideas on a few adjustments. He was only a phone call away and stopped in frequently to check on the progress. Our project even started six weeks ahead of schedule. Now on to the most important person, Richard Peyton. Richard was our "miracle worker". He turned our old 1970's bathroom into a gorgeous, updated bathroom that could be published in magazines. Richard's craftsmanship and attention to detail were impeccable! He ran into a few issues during the project with the plumbing and flooring, but challenged himself till it was 100% perfect. Richard went above and beyond the call of duty. If we weren't going to be home till late, he would grab the newspaper and mail and always double checked to make sure the house was locked before he left. Richards first priority is ALWAYS the customer. We loved having him around every day to talk with and build a friendship. We've already scheduled our next bathroom to be gutted, and we know for sure, Richard will be our main man.

contractor never showed up as scheduled/promised. contractor did extra work without advance permission and then demanded payment beyond the original contracted work. contractor repeatedly did very little, left bathroom unusable with materials strewn about the floor and shower, and would not be seen for a week or two at a time. when work was finally completed, six weeks late, billing department demanded immediate payment for services including several hundreds of dollars toward unapproved add on work. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!

His attention to detail is outstanding! So nice to work with a company that wants to make sure their customer is satisfied.
