    Collins Waterproofing & More LLC
Couldn't find where the water was coming from in my basement. Called Collins waterproofing, found the entire problem was caused by my needing a sump pump installed. They had the sump pump next day installed it and everything went well. No more water leaking in the basement. Couldn't ask for faster service at such a reasonable price.

They helped us out this summer when we found out we had a couple Interior foundation cracks. They were very professional and so friendly! The pricing was the best that we found and only cost us $400 per crack. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

    Total Home Pros, LLC
Bert (owner) quoted the work and the pricing was extraordinarily good. That should have been the primary warning sign. They sent skilled and unskilled labor to start the job as agreed, The field labor generally played their role well in the early stages. As the job progressed it became clear that Total Home Pros didn't really have access to all the trades necessary to do their quoted tasks. They leaned on the 1 skilled laborer assigned too heavily and that person got frustrated with the work. He refused to do some tasks quoted which we contracted with other subcontractors. He had to be coaxed back to complete some 1/4 done work phases. Then, Total Home Pro's (THP's) left the field with drywall work that hadn't been finished (plumbing caps exposed, unsanded drywall while quote said drywall would be "paint ready"), with plumbing work partially done (old plumbing disconnected and reconfigured but new sink not plumbed to water supply or drainage) and carpentry partially complete (kitchen cabinets raised in elevation with unfinished lumber just painted white but not finished to cabinet quality). Nearest we could tell, the invoice about matched the hours they spent at a reasonable rate/hour of labor but we will have to general contract the completion of most facets of their work. Contractors may not relish doing the difficult finish work left by THP's. THP's position is that their quote didn't include sanding walls , plumbing drains, finishing cabinetry, etc. Total Home Pros did refer an excellent electrician who finished many tasks quoted (and many others too) at night while moonlighting from a day job which has created project delays but we are thankful to have him. If you are looking for a contractor who quotes by the task (not hours incurred), will finish the portions of the task quoted that work for them, bill you a reasonable amount for their hours incurred and leave the field for you to finish the work, Total Home Pro's is your firm.

The process was great from start to finish, we had Ben and his team to our house for about 6 weeks pretty much every day. Ben clearly knows what he is doing, not only with the actual construction but w design work as well. He was able to help us walk through our plan and make some tweaks that enhanced our space! He is also great with vision, taking an idea and running with it to make it real. Taking a Pinterest idea and working it to our space. I can't say enough great things about him and his team. He put basically a full kitchen in the basement as well as a half bathroom. His drywall guy is fantastic and my family was sad to see his team leave after the time we spent with them. Their work is truly top notch, we are a Real Estate Team and have seen contractors for years and I would use Ben over and over again! He will be doing a sunroom addition next year for us!

Very happy! Frank came out and was very professional. Called to say he was running late and then showed up when he said he would. Told us that is was a job that we could do ourselves and told us how to do it.

Horrible. Job is still not finished after 2 weeks. Aaron Thompson has been a no show day after day. Will not return phone calls or text msgs. Has made a mess in our yard. Very unprofessional. We will need to hire someone else to finish his mess.

Tony showed up on time, but after that, the scheduled service appointment went quickly downhill. When my husband asked Tony to remove his work boots since we just had new carpet installed, he refused. He then proceeded to walk off the job, claiming that he doesn't remove his shoes for anyone. His lack of professionalism and his gruff demeanor were shocking. A construction manager who had referred him couldn't even persuade him to apologize. Do not let this jerk in your house, with or without shoes!

    GOOD GUY HOME IMPROVEMENTS, LLC
I called to schedule a consultation/estimate for a small basement remodel - approx. 600 sq ft. Mr. taulbee showed up on time, took measurements, etc as expected. Didn't have a business card though - said he ran out. After explaining and discussing my wants, he said that he'd have a drawn up estimate and emailed within approx 3 days. Over a month has passed since then with no phone call, no email and no estimate.

    Craftsmen Home Improvements
Stephen spent 3 hours of my time discussing and taking measurements of basement. Small - approx 600 sq ft. He verbally estimated job would cost 17-19K. He said he'd have a typed up proposal with estimate by end of weekend ( he came on a Wednesday). I never heard from him again or any follow up from craftsman.

    The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati
So impressed at how friendly Michael was, courtesy reminder call the night before the appointment, his promptness and the fact that he was honest about the work needed to be done when he could have overwhelmed us with technical terms and a hefty quote to make us think they needed to do the work. While they didn't actually do any foundation repair work, they were very helpful in helping us solve our leak issue and we would recommend them for fair and honest work.
