One of the few companies who actually came through with an estimate for a major rehab of my screened-in porch and other items. Mike's team (Mark and others) arrived when promised and worked on this job for several weeks until it was completed to my satisfaction. There were many facets to the job and the team was communicative throughout ensuring I was in agreement with everything they did. They even constructed a custom doggie door as part of the project! ABorowske Builders IncI searched around for a while to find someone that could do this job. I went with Borowske because the price was right and his prior examples were exactly what I was looking for. Responsiveness was impressive, since I now realize Dave himself is present on the jobsites, so the fact that he was able to make dedicated trips out to my location for planning, was fantastic. Dave has all the subs he needs lined up and his coordination is top notch. This addition I had done was 14'x18' with a full basement, no small task. The first day of activity was an orchestra of laborers and equipment. The digging equipment was dropped off just the day before, so it didn't occupy my driveway any more than necessary. The dirt hauling that day was all complete, and footers were poured the same day. All in all, it took 2 months to complete my job. The results are stellar. Dave was very accommodating of my questions, and minor adjustments were made without hesitation.- SALVATORE O.

AHome Exteriors Roofing, Siding and WindowsHome Exteriors lived up to their ratings. We had a great experience, starting with the estimate process, they estimate was more complete and thourough than the other two we received. Even though they were the most expensive (only by a couple hundred over one other estimate), we chose them because we felt they did the best job evaluating the job and letting us know exactly what they were going to do. They siad they would send a big crew to do the job in about 3 days and they were right, a 10-man crew showed up the first day, even after that freak snow on the 30th. They tore down our old mud room within the first hour and had the base framework up by noon. The daily clean-up was great, there was very little debris left over. This was a big colonial house and they finished a couple of hours past the three days, and the house looks brand new. Almost the whole house was sided, except the porch pillars and they did a excellent job with the small work, like capping windows and doors, siding underhangs and the ceiling of the front porch. The mud room that they built will outlive the house. very solid and well insulated, all the joints solidly put together, we will get much more use out of it than we did the old one. Overall, we believe we got our money's worth out of this job, and when it comes time to re-do our roof, Home Exteriors will be our first call.- TED W.

AHome Exteriors Roofing, Siding and WindowsTHERE WERE A COUPLE OF ISSUES WITH THIS JOB, BUT GARY & CREW RESOLVED THEM TO OUR COMPLETE SATISFACTION. 1.THEY REALIZED THAT THE CUSTOM WINDOWS WERE NOT QUITE THE SAME SHAPE AS THE OPENINGS. GARY WAS OUT TO THE HOUSE TO PROPOSE A SOLUTION BEFORE I EVEN KNEW THERE WAS A PROBLEM. TO KEEP IT BRIEF, THEY ENDED UP REPLACING THE INTERIOR SIDING AT A VERY LOW COST TO US. 2.THE SECOND PROBLEM INVOLVED A LACK OF SIDING TO FINISH OFF A 12' X 1' OPENING AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LONGEST WALL. THIS WAS DONE A WEEK AFTER THE REST OF THE JOB. THE CREW'S SOLUTION WAS AESTHETICALLY UNFORTUNATE. (HOWEVER THE WORKMANSHIP WAS SUPERB). WHEN I CALLED TO COMPLAIN, SLIGHTLY FRANTIC , GARY PROMISED THEY WOULD FIX IT TO OUR SATISFACTION. WITHIN A WEEK, THEY HAD. WE ARE THRILLED WITH THE PORCH, AND OUR NEIGHBORS HAVE BEEN COMMENTING ABOUT HOW GOOD IT LOOKS. AGAIN, SOME PROBLEMS AS CAN BE EXPECTED ON A BIGGER JOB, BUT THEY WENT THE EXTRA MILE TO MAKE SURE WE WERE SATISFIED.- KERRY B.

BSupplies delivered and sat on my roof for 2weeks. Roof was completed in one day but the gutter covers were not done. It took a week and persistence on my behalf to finally get the gutters taken care of a week later. Someone dropped the ball and communications were weak until I got the ball rolling. The job seems to have been completed without complications but it's only been less than a week since completion.

AI need to replace the front entry door due to water leaking to my basement. I quoted couple of companies and some are not even showing up because the covid. Finally I choose Home Exteriors with great review and Dave is my salesman. During the pandemic windows and door manufacture get delayed, but I still gave Dave's team thump up for installation. They came to install windows and door in 25 F weather and spent most of time outside. They are professional, meet all my requests and focus all the detail. Clean everything after wrap up.

BOur experience was as expected. The install was delayed due to COVID restrictions on importing materials but only by 2 weeks. The crew who installed was very nice and professional. Our only concern was when outside one of the crew members was smoking a lot. Even when using power tools. That seems unsafe to me. They did a nice job in cleaning up as well. Later that day the company called to see how things went. We explained about the smoking but she just said “well in this profession some of the guys do that. We can’t stop them”. The sales person was nice and the person who did the measurements did a good job. We still think the price was a bit high but so were all the estimates. We went with them because of the lifetime warranty. Haven’t had to use it yet. We did not use their financing so we cannot speak to that. Overall it seemed to be a routine job. So far we are pleased.

AMy gutter were in need of cleaning and my roof is 10 years old, so I called and made an appointment for a roof inspection with gutter cleaning. Chris showed up on time for the appointment and did the roof inspection and e-mailed me pictures showing the work required on the roof, I agreed to the work and the price. The next day it was raining and they were not able to come out, but the second day was dry and they came out and performed the work. I have to assume they performed the work because I am unable to get on the roof and they did not provide after pictures to go with the before pictures from the inspection.

AThis is a review for Marquard Home Improvement & Remodeling for work done back in 2018. We hired them to do house renovations (removing wall paper, removing carpet, fixing hard wood floor, painting, completely renovating bathroom, replacing front door). Shawn and his team were fantastic! The renovations were for my parents' house. Shawn communicated very well (especially since my parents don't speak good English, so Shawn and his team communicated with my siblings and me). He and his team were very patient, and they worked with us regarding details for the renovation throughout the project. The quality of the work was fantastic. I still hear my parents compliment it to this day (two years after the work was done). I highly recommend Marquard Home Improvement & Remodeling for house renovation work.
