The work done: replace 58 sq ft of middle section of front porch and replace 303 sq ft of driveway sections. As far as I can tell the actual concrete work looks ok. Im giving them a D due there terrible work ethics, lack of cleanup, and destruction of property. I was told the job would take four days and it took 2 weeks. There were a few days of rain, but there were days they only worked for 2 hours. My neighbor also complained of workers swearing loudly. Since part of my driveway is blacktop I was told they wouldnt drive the heavy truck on it. They did and it damaged the re-sealing I had done last year. The truck was also leaking oil which covered my driveway and stained the new concrete (due to rain washing it over the new area). They also did not cleanup splatter on the brick wall of the porch and the truck put big tire marks in the grass. After I complained the did come back and remove the oil stains. While it does look better it did not completely remove all and the driveway still looks bad and will need resealed sooner then I planned. I can only hope concrete holds up better than the rest of their work.

Cory does a great job and is very organized. I am always impressed with how professional and on time he is when he commits to a job. Most contractors show up late and finish jobs late... not Cory and his team... They are always early to the job site and finish on time. The quality of his work has been outstanding and I would recommend him to others. It is also impressive to see he has the same team of guys working for him - over the last 3-4 years that says something about him as a leader and boss.

They were fantastic to work with.

They were very responsive from the start.   They quickly prepared a quote and answered all my questions.   I got a total of 4 proposals  so I asked a fair bit of questions to make sure the proposals were comparable.   Ultimately, I chose Dcor-Crete because of their professionalism, experience, and price (not the lowest but very competitive).  They helped us pick out patterns and colors that would compliment our house.

The crew worked hard for a couple days to fill, level, tamp and form the walkways and the patio.  On the day of the pour, a couple additional craftsmen joined the reguilar crew to pour, stamp, and stain the patio.  It turned out BEAUTIFUL.   Then on Monday, they were back to seal all the new concrete.

The whole job is beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the service from Dcor-Crete.   I'd definitely use them again.

    Thanks Guys.

The floor drain in my 50+ year-old garage rusted out long ago.  I could drive over the shallow, 6-inch diameter hole in the concrete floor with my car, but it finally dawned on me that it was a trip-hazard that needed to be repaired.

I called concrete contractors in early June.  Since I was going to be driving my car over the new drain, I wanted to hire an experienced professional who made a living with concrete.  As it turns out, my job was too small for most of them.  Summer is the busy season and only two contractors were interested.

John Nicolino of Nicolino Construction stopped by my home as he drove between job sites.  He inspected the drain, explained what he would do, and gave me a quote of $600.  Everything took about 20 minutes.  (Using the information Mr. Nicolino gave me, the other interested contractor provided an over-the-phone guess-timate of roughly $1,500.)  I  would have preferred to pay less than $500 for the work, but $600 was a good price for the market.

Given Mr. Nicolino's full schedule, he could not give me a date certain for performing the work.  I would have to wait, perhaps until September, until something opened up.  As luck would have it, it rained heavily during the last week in June and forced a halt to his outside work while the ground dried out.  Mr. Nicolino called me on Friday, 28 June, to let me know that he could replace my drain the next day.

Mr. Nicolino arrived at 8:30 AM Saturday morning.  He performed all the work himself, though I assisted with loading his truck with the old concrete and clay pipe he removed.  He cut a 10-inch wide slot in the concrete from the drain to the back of the garage.  The old cast iron drain was replaced with a heavy-duty plastic drain box that traps sand and sediment.  The clay pipe was replaced with Schedule 35 (SDR-35) PVC pipe, and he had to punch a new hole for the pipe through the cinder block foundation.  The drain box and the PVC pipe were set in and covered with gravel so both could be reused if I decide to replace the entire garage floor in the future.  Since the job was small, he used bagged concrete mix that he mixed by hand.

The job, including clean up, was finished by 1:30 PM.  I had to avoid walking on the fresh concrete for 24 hours and I could not drive on it for a week.  (Fortunately, I could still park in my garage after I rearranged some clutter to avoid driving on the new concrete.)

Mr. Nicolino was professional, friendly, and quite helpful.  I'd recommend him to anyone needing concrete work.

Tony responded quickly to my inquiry via Angie's list. He came out shortly after that and gave us an estimate for removing and replacing our cracked garage floor. Although rain and vacations interfered with scheduling the work, it was done within a month of our first meeting. Tony is an excellent communicator. His crew cleaned did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. We are very pleased with our experience.

Those people were great!  They were absolutely fantastic!  The workers and Josh, who was the sales person set everything up.  They came over and explained everything to me.  All of them were very professional and courteous.  They couldn't have been better!  The work that they did shows their professionalism.  I hope I won't have to use them again, but if I needed, then I would use them again.

    Huber Concrete Construction
We had to be flexible on the dates because of weather. Jeff Huber was very communicative, and called regularly to give us an idea of when he could start the work and how long it would take. The crew worked efficiently from start to finish and ended up doing a very nice job. The driveway looks great. My only complain was the mess left behind, which may be somewhat inevitable with this kind of job. For example, they washed out their tools and buckets in our backyard using our garden hose, which got cement all over the spray handle and put chunks of concrete in the lawn/garden that we had to dig out and re-seed. I didn't so much mind the grass (it was not a large area), but would have been nice if they had not poured out the buckets on our raised herb garden. However, the quality of the work was excellent and the customer service was great.
