The teachers do a wonderful job getting the kids ready for kindergarten.  This is an excellent Christ-Centered facility that I would recommend to anyone wanting their child to get a few hours social and educational time 4 days a week.  Unfortunately the center is closing after this school year.  But, I thank the teachers for the great work they have done.  We will have a hard time finding a preschool next year that lives up to the work the New Horizons has done.

It is a very safe, clean environment and all of the teachers are very caring. The owner does a fantastic job communicating with the parents and really making it feel like its a safe environment for our kids. Our kids have developed very well throughout the years that they have been there.

They did a good job with ratio's and they definitely seemed to engage the kids with activities. I felt the director was responsive and helpful. They were flexible when I only needed child care part-time after I lost my job.

We interviewed prospective childcare facilities. We have since moved from the area, so we will not be using them. However, the facility did fit what we were looking for at the time.

So just want to say do not bring your kid to this day care First id like to say my kids only been at this place for maybe 2 weeks. The first day my child was told she needs to learn to hold her per. Next day my 2nd child came home wearing a diaper. Which she has been potty trained for a few months and never has any accidents anymore not for a while now. Her mother asked why they had not called so we could bring a change of cloths. Ok 2 days later wearing a diaper again. We asked why she was in a diaper again. This time we were not happy needless to. Say. This teacher and I mean that in the looses of terms laughed at us and said u need to stop having an attitude. Next day I'm buckling my kid in the car and I smell poop I check her and she had pooped her self and it was dried and hardened to her skin. Probly in it all day. Yet again no call. That said my 4 year old who's in a different class I was talking to on the way home about getting her into her old daycare told me she didn't want to go back. And I asked why . she told me they were mean and they hurt her. Shocked I said what do you mean they hurt you. She said a teacher had grabbed her by the mouth and squeezed it hard and it really hurt. So I'm probably filling a law suite and I have cps,and job and family services involved now. Just saying you will regret sending your children here. Thx for reading.

My wife and I walked into this childcare facility and had to walk through a room with older kids to get to the infant room.  The infant room had a very large range of ages, too large of a range for us to be comfortable with leaving our five month old in a single room with 18 month olds.  One of the workers picked up a 8 week old baby and came close to us as my wife looked at the baby she noticed he had really bad pink eye, to the point where his eye was crusted shut and had dried goop all over his eyelid and running down his cheek.  As we looked around the room we noticed the other child, around a year old, had a bad caugh, runny nose that he was wiping on his hand then touching other babies, and yet another toddler was getting a diaper change and had bad diarrhea.  Security measures were not good with the entering the building either.  We found somewhere else to take our baby to.

It was a negative experience overall mainly due to the lack of professionalism from the director. When I had a complaint or a problem, the director would take it personally and would actually get angry about. She would refuse to do anything about it and would tell us to just leave. That was her way of dealing with things. And these were small things and she might of thought they were picky. To her it was an insult to her that anything had occurred. It was awful, it was very bad. She would say,  "if you don't like it, you can leave." The price was a little high as well. The quality was okay but the ratio's were always maxed out.
