    Roofs by Warren
On a personal level, Roofs by Warren has completed several jobs for me. The jobs were all completed on time as he said. Clean up was complete. The job was well done. I feel confident in recommending Roof by Warren to anyone!

    ERIC GRANDI CONSTRUCTION
He is trying to charge me 150% of what we agreed on before work started. Never asked me if I was ok with paying more or got an OK from me even though his contract states he will provide any additional fees or add ons in a written statement for approval.
He is now threatening to put a lien on my home if I do not pay his extortion rates. I have agreed to even pay more than what we originally agreed on, just not 150%!
Not to mention he started the job 3 months late and also the siding has fallen off twice so far. I would recommend not using Eric Grandi.

Chad bid lower than a competitor with less efficient units. We got top of the line Trane residential units for a good price. He installed the AC first and had it up and running before we could become uncomfortable on a humid summer day. The central AC unit was bigger than our slab so he installed a base and brace at on extra charge. The clean up was so good, the only memory they left was the cool, quiet comfort. He even filed the forms with our local electric coop so we will get a nice rebate. We will have to wait for colder weather to really test the furnace, but the reputation of the model installed leaves me on doubt that we are going to be satisfied,. I highly recommend this company for HVAC needs.

    Blass Residential Services
Horrible...shoddy workmanship....took 4 months...had to hire another contractor to fix their mistakes. Developed roof leak, which is what prompted us to hire them.....still leaked after new roof as they didn't remove wood trim where roof met house when reroofed ....we were told we hired them to put on a new roof, not fix the leak. Son had no communication skills...very rude and abrasive to work with. roofing had to be corrected, soffits installed incorrectly, and metal on eaves dented and gaping holes. pics to support all of our complaints.

    CounterStrike Security & Sound Inc
I absolutely love this company. Their pricing is great. There were a couple of places I questioned whether they needed to put some alarms. They said no, they were low entry places. They told me to save some money and not buy extra. They were very professional. I had one of the doors to remote locks. For some reason, the battery went dead in the first year. They came out and fixed it. I had a window battery go bad. They came out and fixed it. These repairs were at no charge. They've been phenomenal. I would recommend them to everyone. I pay for yearly service. They don't require a contract. You own your own equipment. They also removed all the old equipment when they installed the new equipment.

    H & S ASPHALT
They responded promptly to my request for a quote through BBB. The representative made an appointment and came to our house the same week. He provided quotes for resurfacing and replacement.  We decided to go with asphalt after getting quotes for concrete and the quote was about 1/2 that for concrete.
We had some furniture being delivered within the next few weeks and requested any work be delayed until after we would have any heavy trucks parked in the driveway. Once we had the deliveries done we informed H&S on a Tuesday  and they scheduled the work for the next week. They called on Thursday and told us that they had finished a job early and would like to replace our driveway the next day.
They came on Friday and had the whole job done by the time I arrived home from work at 5. My wife told me that the neighbors were impressed enough that they asked for a business card.
H&S Asphalt is operated by professionals. These guys know what they are doing. They did a high quality job at exactly the price quoted.

    Briggs Heating A/C Plumbing
Even thought it was not an emergency, he made an appointment for the morning after I called. I made arrangements to be late for work so I could be there. He arrived within 5 minutes of the time he estimated and completed all the work so efficiently that I was able to return to work an hour earlier than I had promised. Everything was done right and his rates were better than other plumbers I had contacted. i was amazed by the professionalism and courtesy he showed for such a small job. Another plumber I called wouldn't even return my calls when I explained the job.

    Blass Residential Services
    Description Of Work:
we had a roof leak with driving rains where the 3 season porch joined house. As the rest of the roof was in need of replacement within a few yrs, we decided to go with a full exterior remodel to include new roof, paint, aluminum facia and soffits, gutters and downspouts, and some brickwork. Their paint bid was 3x all competitors, and we subbed out the brickwork. While the roofing bid was above all of the others, we signed with Blass based on a longterm friendship and gave them the roof, fascia, gutters, and downspouts. I wrote my 1st check to them 5/31/13. It is still not done correctly.

First of all, they were advised by a tradesman roofer that the wood trim at the house and porch joint needed to be removed to repair the leak...caulking was not sufficient repair. They removed the shingles, saw no overt water damage...and told my husband the wood did not need removed. Guess what...it leaked. When we called them back....we were told that my husband told them they did not need to pull off the wood...we stared at them incredulously ..we were then informed that their contract stated that they were to replace the roof, not repair a roof leak. Mike Blass stated he would be happy to remove the board, but they would have to bill us for the additional work. He also stated that the needed repair could be out of their scope of work....they put themselves out there as a one call does it all company. THIS was the icing on the cake ( please read on for the rest of the issues that led up to this) When I heard that we would be paying more, all communications ceased and they left...our work remains incomplete. Up to this point in time, We had called them back and asked for numerous redos as follows: The aluminum soffit was replaced in 2 areas due to dents and was initially installed wrong ( my husband saw it and made them redo) , The gutters were incorrectly installed and water poured down the house...they placed it below the drip edge with no metal guide pieces, so the water missed the gutter, All of the roofing was butted too tightly to the house, and bulged. In addition, they lost their line to stay straight and the shingles grew noticeably closer together...they tried to repair this when we were out of town, but my husband was wary and made them come when he was here...they didn't take the roof back off to the top as was needed, trying to remove and re-lay only the 2 bad rows. My husband caught this and made them do it right. There is one front corner of the eaves that has a torn, jagged and protruding metal edge and hole approx 2and quot; x 4and quot; because they never finished replacing the trim. All of these repairs are not done, and those that are, took all summer. Fortunately, we have numerouse pictures as the house painters took several for us too! So, the buckled shingles remain in front, the hole in the soffit remains, and the roof still leaks. We are sick at the amount of money spent and the quality of workmanship done. The Worst part is this....we paid them in full believing they would stand behind their work and word. After all, this was a friend.
