    Their system had many problems.  Eventually they would not respond to our calls.  Today, after $3,500 we can use the dysfunctional system as a doorstop or a bookend.
    Before buying from these guys, be sure to physically make a trip to the Stow Municipal Court and read all of the filings in their various cases 2014CVF02664, 2014CVF02173, and 2014CVF02357, among others.  Don?t say that you weren?t warned.

    Great concept, poor equipment.
    1) Motion detectors will detect motion level with the device. If mounted high in a corner, you can easily walk under the motion detectors. They must be mounted 4-5 feet from the floor. Tyco and ADT detectors work in a wide angle down from the device so they can be mounted high in a corner and span an entire room. This is a big problem.
    2) Range of the wireless devices is limited. In two cases, the devices - a motion detector and a door sensor - did not work although located within 30 feet of the base unit. The vendor advised to move the base unit to the center of the house. Forget about monitoring anything on another floor that is more than 20 feet or so away from the base unit. This fail was experienced in a frame construction house with no barriers like steel or concrete. Some competitive units have boosters/repeaters to solve this issue. Frontpoint did not appear to offer it. Be sure to put the equipment through the paces during the trial period to be sure it is reliable in your building.
    3) The sticky tape they provide does not hold up well and motion detectors fell off the wall. If you ever move a device, the sticky tape is useless and you have to buy $$ more on your own. Incredible but although the sticky tape does not hold, the foam double-sided tape they provide for the control panel and glass break devices cannot be removed without damaging the surface. So be sure to locate them carefully as it is a permanent mount.
    4) Monitoring center staff did not seem as professional as Tyco or ADT. They sounded like an outsourced and disinterested contractor. During the trial period, you should seriously consider triggering the alarm to check out the monitoring center.

    Wanted to switch alarm providers. Salesman came, (5/28) on time, very nice, told me exactly what would be done, took pictures of existing equipment, wrote up charges, and I paid by check. Told me someone would call in the next couple days. One week later I called...said there was no record. They called sales rep got it straightened out. Made appt. for service, day of, got call there was emergency in installers family, had to cancel, waited a week, installer came and said I would have to get new equipment that they could not use this particular brand and I would have to buy a new system and new keypads. I showed him on two different forms that this brand was named and the sales rep even took pictures. After waiting for 41/2 hrs for him to come, he left in 15 minutes with nothing being done. I was then told they would allow some discounts for their errors. I was stuck as I had cancelled the other company so Seiver could change over the system.
    So 6/24 appt was scheduled. Service tech was here for 7 hours. Very thurough and knowledgable. Said I would need a repair person, since he could not get a signal in the basement. That was scheduled for 7/17 at 9AM....no one showed. When I called, was told he did not start till 11 AM and that the person who scheduled it was no longer there.
    I am writing this on 7/24 at 11:59 AM waiting for a 9AM service call. I have called 4 times, left messages, and no one has bothered to call back. Does not leave me much faith in their security protection. So much for customer service.

    I HAVEN'T USED HER PERSONALLY AS WE PUT THE DECISION FOR A HOME SECURITY SYSTEM ON HOLD FOR A SHORT WHILE; HOWEVER, AFTER EVALUATING SEVERAL COMPANIES THAT OFFER SECURITY SYSTEMS, I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH WHAT SECURITY PLUS HAD TO OFFER. THEIR SALESPERSON WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE, THOROUGH, & NOT PUSHY. THEIR PRODUCT SEEMS GOOD & THE PRICES ARE EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE. A NEIGHBOR OF MINE USED THEM & HAS SAID GOOD THINGS ALSO.

    THE SALESMAN DIDN'T SEEM VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST SET UP FOR OUR HOUSE. HE WAS ALSO EXTREMELY PUSH FOR US TO SIGN THE CONTRACT RIGHT THEN AND THERE. AFTER HE LEFT THE HOUSE HE CALLED TO ASK A CO-WORKER TO LOOK AT OUR HOUSE TO SEE IF THE EQUIPMENT WAS APPROPRIATE. WHEN I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT WE COULD SHOW OUR HOUSE TO THE GUY TO GET A REVISED QUOTE, BUT WEREN'T READY TO SIGN HE BACKED OFF. ULTIMATELY, I DIDN'T LIKE THEIR SALES TACTICS.
