Fence Company reviews in Hudson

The fence is not straight. The boards are warping and the gates are bending. Dave at Premier Fence was contacted. He admitted that the gates needed to be replaced. After every conversation he said he would be out in a week to fix all the issues. This was in March 2017. It is now Oct 2017 and he has never showed up even after several occasions he has said he would. He has now stopped responding. He does not warrenty his work and his workmanship with fencing is below average. Look elsewhere.

The crew worked very efficiently, in tough conditions to finish the project. The installation was done with a good quality. The finished project looks great overall. I would definitely hire them again.

The fence is great, the cornice they fixed is great. The sealing around the chimney seems to be okay, but the sealing around the skylight is worse than it was before. It didn't leak all summer, but I just noticed a couple nights ago that the skylight was leaking. The ceiling is stained all around the skylight much more than it was before.

Bob was prompt, courteous, and diligent through both quoting and service on the fence repair job we had done. It turned out to be more of a replacement than repair, and he handled the changes in scope and requirements fairly and intelligently. A fair price and no unhappy surprises.

The owner, Damon Lewis was contacted by my husband.
Damon arranged a time to meet.
Damon was punctual and flawlessly performed the work.
We are very happy to have the fence working again.

Miller came out and stalled the springs. Job was done and the garage door was operating. However after the springs were installed on the door there were signs the wrong springs were installed however I was uneducated on how to identify those areas. For example, when the correct springs are installed the door (while not engaged to the motor) when completely raised, should stay all the way up. Ours had to be held up which I didnt realize was a sign something was wrong. Also the cables on the side were not very tight at all. Second Example, when the proper springs are installed the door (when not engaged to the motor) should remain all the way closed (maybe raise up an inch or so) but definitely not raise up over two feet which is a sign there is to much tension on the springs. Proper springs installed will ensure the door (when not engaged to the motor) can be lifted at any level and will remain at that height without the cables being to loose OR to tight. To much tension will eventually wear out your springs and cause them to break like my original springs did.
So what happened was that we had another problem with the door that was created by my five year old son. The problem that caused our door to not work was over the weekend and we had to call emergency service out on a Sunday (Above and Beyond Door which I will refer to as A&B from here on out). A&B came out and fixed the door and during the final phases they were "winding the springs back" and said they could not get the door wound properly. The technician explained there is a mathematical calculation for the springs that every company uses and when completed the door should (when not engaged to the motor) operate according to my description above. The tech redid his work three times as I watched him and he said while I don't have the door manufacturers specs with me I can tell you the springs put on this door are not the wrong size and I will tell you that this attributed to the problem caused by my son. We made the decision to pull the springs and the guy put a smaller set of springs (YES SMALLER NOT BIGGER) on my door and they worked beautifully. Now this guy at A&B had no idea that everything he was telling me about how to tell if a door has the proper springs I had already noticed prior to the door breaking however just didnt realize this was NOT normal. So we had the door fixed and everything has worked beautifully but I have these 90 day old springs that I paid close to $300.00 to have installed that Miller Garage Door will not admit the info above was accurate, they will not come out try to install those old springs and prove me wrong based on my new found knowledge but rather they state I should have waited till Monday and had them come out and assess the situation. I was not looking for all my money back but some type of compromise that included their tech being retrained. The owner of Miller Garage new I was spot on with all my information and could only say you are out of luck. I also believe Miller has been out to the house prior to our purchasing this home as my garage door had a Miller sticker on it that was faily new (we have been there almost two years). However when I questioned Miller they said they had never been out but mysteriously this sticker found its way on the door and my springs had a tag on them like they had just been replaced.

R &T Fence Company installed about 500' of split rail fencing in our back yard. The salesperson, Jeff, was very prompt and kept us up to date throughout the whole process. We had a lot of woods in our backyard and they had to cut some trees and brush away to put the fence up. The work crew was professional and courteous. The fence looks great and our dog loves it. We would highly recommend them.

It went great.  They modified their usual design to match our existing fencing.  They came out to install the fence and came out with pine instead of the cedar.  They were very nice and apologized, but had to come back a few days later to install the fence and gate.  When they cam back it was done well and correctly.  Looks great and matches our existing fencing perfectly.  Great job.  Nice people.

R&T showed up promptly for their estimate and came in well under the competition. Although we had a confusing permitting process, R&T worked with me throughout to make sure we were squared away. They showed genuine concern for getting things done the right way and on-time.
The install went very smoothly and quickly - they had a full team on hand! They installed the fence with two beautiful gates, and worked a special enclosure on a slanted hill we have in our back yard.
Overall, I had a great experience with R&T. They also removed an old fence we had - showing great flexibility!
I will definitely use them again in the future!

Steven the salesperson was very professional and responsive to questions.  The installers were wonderful.  They arrived early in the morning and worked hard all day.  I would definitely recommend R&T Fence.
