Drain Cleaning reviews in Hudson

On Thanksgiving evening at around 5pm, my daughter reported that the toilet was not flushing. I attempted to plunge the toilet but it did not help. Also, my wife was reporting there was a gurgling noise in the kitchen sink while we were plunging and all the other toilets were not flushing well. We celebrate Thanksgiving the day after and were expecting a house full of friends and family on Friday, and not having working toilets/drains was not an option. So I hopped on Angie's List to frantically search for a plumbing service that might be available on Thanksgiving, not feeling very optimistic about my chances since the first two places I called went straight to voicemail. Then I called Roto-Rooter and was thrilled to hear a real person answer the phone, and even more hopeful when this nice person said that their on-call plumber Adam would be calling me back soon. A little more than an hour later, I received a call from Adam and explained my problem. He said that he was at a job and then had to go to another so he wouldn't be at my place until around midnight. About a half hour later, he called and said that his next appointment had cancelled so he would be able to make it to my house by around 730pm. When he got here he methodically worked through the places the blockage might be located and used a heavy-duty fiber optic camera to locate and break up a blockage where the drains leave the house. Then he moved outside to the access port leading to the septic tank and determined there was also a blockage there that likely caused the secondary blockage inside the house. He then used the root removal snake to clear the line between the house and the septic tank, and used the fiber optic camera to show me the cleared drain. Adam took his time and patiently explained everything he was doing, and made sure everything was working correctly before he wrapped things up after 10pm. He even received another call to go somewhere else after my appointment but never appeared frustrated that he was going to have a very long night. We even tried to feed him because he hadn't eaten all day but he politely declined and thanked us for the offer. I can't say enough good things about Adam and Roto-Rooter because of the quality of work you performed and because you saved our Thanksgiving this year!

Jake and Anthony were amazing. They arrived on time, spent time trying to understand the problem, use a camera to find all of the issues with the downspout pipes, and came up with a simple solution. We are new to the area and this was our first time with Superior Drainage. They have a customer for life. I highly recommend.

On September 1, 2016 the representative from Plumbing 911 arrived to clear our drain. We were quoted $205.00. He ran the snake twice, said all was good and then gave us an estimate for a Hydro Jet drain, $650 and another quote to replace the drain in the floor and replace the cement floor, $3200. They gave us a 30-day warranty. In the beginning of November, the drain began to back up again, so we had them come back out. Same technician, this time we chose the Hydro Jet. He stated the cast drain was in poor shape and he could get the jet throught the floor drain very well. The water drained better after he was done. The charge was $550. This time the estimate to repair the drain and concrete was $1850.00. By Mid January the drain was backing up a third time. We called Allen Drain, they arrived the next day and ran a basic snake. Allen charged $145.00. We have had absolutely no issues since then.

Person answering phones and scheduling the call was very friendly and courteous.  Plumber arrived on time, performed the task quickly, informed me of what he was doing and what needed to be done with each step.  The only thing I would ask is if the plumber can put the snake in a bag when walking through the house before the service and after.  Carrying it through the house isn't ideal given its function.
I was very pleased with the overall service and quality of service.  The plumber was very kind and very informative.
I will definitely use them again.

Provider was prompt and professional. Used his snake and camera to assess my issues and completed the task even though the previous owner had made access to the line going to the street difficult.
I had other issues that he dealt with wonderfully (he went out of his way to be helpful), and I would highly recommend this company for anyone who has plumbing needs of any kind.

They snaked the gutters and once they determined what the drainage problem was, proposed a solution to us.  I thought their price was very fair.  However,  decided to do the job ourselves due to our own financial situation.  I wouldn't hesitate to call them again and/or to hired them for additional scope should we need to in the future,

All was done very professionally and as asked.  Cleaned out a totally clogged basement drain.  The two guys kept at it from start to finish and got the job done.  They even went over the one hour but still charged the advertised $99.  Well done.

Service man showed up on time. Took less than an hour to diagnose and fix both issues. Everything went fine. Sal's technician did NOT try to sell me a new furnace/AC unit, unlike Service Experts who have told me I needed a new unit every time they have been here for regular maintenance check ups. I went to Sal this time as Angie's List has them rated highly, and Service Experts were going to charge me for a "failure" call versus the regular maintenance check up I had originally schedule. That would have meant an over $200 extra charge. Going with Sal from now on.

They were great! Our house is almost 100 years old and the drain had several turns. They worked until they figured out where it was clogged. We have had it cleaned several times and they found packed roots that had clearly been there for longer than our last cleaning. They also taught me about draining systems. I will be calling them again! I used a deal coupon and it was a great price!

Do yourself a service and do not call Allen Drain. They area RIP OFF. Charged me $500 to put in a new sump pump last year. Found that thepump retails for only around $100. So paid $400 for install and service whichis ridiculous. A little after a year called them for a night service call.
Agreed it was after hours. But was charged $250 for a service call which lastedless than 30 minutes and all the service guy did was reset the float, which ifhe had told me to try even on the phone while troubleshooting the problem, Icould have done. Most honest businesses will help customers that way by helpingto trouble shoot problems on the phone to avoid a service visit if it can be asimple fix. But no ALLEN DRAIN wants to try to suck every penny out of you! Somuch for using a local business which I thought wants to be honest and fair andhelp its customers. But I was Mistaken. Do yourself a favor and stay away from
this RIP OFF Business called ALLEN DRAIN! Will give them negative stars if Icould.
