Countertop Installation reviews in Hudson

We are extremely pleased with the professional work performed by AWR on our thirty year old well worn kitchen. It looks brand new, with high quality solid wood cabinet doors, refaced surfaces, and brand new granite countertops. Mary Jo the salesperson was very helpful with her recommendations, Her experience and knowledge made the job much simpler. Our carpenter Scott was very professional, thorough and kept any disruptions to our house at minimum. He did great job in cleaning after himself everyday so that we could come home to a well ordered house. He was helpful in answering any questions that we had and offered professional insight and input when asked.

Kevin came to our home, assessed our needs and provided us with a quote for services, he explained the processs and what we could expect considering our tile hadnt been cleaned for many years. He arrived on time, cleaned and sealed all the tile and grout as well as our granite countertops. The work performed was outstanding and we are very pleased with the results and would recommend RestoreForMe to anyone wanting quality work and services.

pot-On remodeled our whole kitchen and we could not be happier! This was a high end project and I'm a high maintenance client, and we were not let down. Damien and his crew were on time every day and completed the project within the slated time. They worked well together, collaborated with me and our participating vendors and solved unexpected problems with ease. Attention to detail was paramount and they rose to the occasion. We have several more projects needing completion and fully intend on hiring Damien and his crew. Hire Spot-On... you won't be disappointed.

Everything was handled professionally, they may not be the cheapest but they were very good.

We don't have any projects with them in the future but what they did was just fine.

This job was trouble from day one.  It was done about a year ago, and I don't know where to begin. I'll just name a few of the things that happened. Our old shower was removed, but not before creating several holes in the sheetrock on the adjoining walls and even in the bottom of the closet in the room next door. They were repaired, except the one in the closet. The wrong tile color was brought, but turned out okay because we liked the contrast. We were supposed to have a built-In shelf, but that was forgotten, and wound up with two soap shelves, placed higher than I would have liked. When the wall tiles were put on, they were all out of align and needed to be taken out and put back in again.

We removed the cabinets and countertop and were going to put them back in place after the floor was completed, but they insisted on putting it back in place and to put the $800 countertop with sinks in place so they could finish the accent tile.  The cabinets were not level, and the center drawer was installed upside down.  The countertop was scratched, which they denied doing.  I think the job took over a week to do, after we were told it would probably be only 3-4 days.  The worker was very sloppy with glue, grout and tile cutting in the garage, and left debris.
I'm sure I am missing something, but it was a while ago.  I was out of state due to my sister's passing and was not around to stay on top of it as much as I would have liked.  By the time some of these items were discovered, I was mourning her passing and just wanted them out of my house and my bathroom useable again.  My husband made them aware of most items, and some were taken care of, and I think that's why it took so long.
No, I would not hire them again or recommend them to a friend.  BOB - Beware of Bargains.

Jeff, Corey, and Rodney were fantastic. They arrived promptly and got straight to work. They accomplished what was on my list and more, going out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. I would definitely hire them again. You should too - you won't be disappointed!

Dan did an excellent job in all respects. Worked with us on keeping down costs. Recommended excellent granite, tile, cabinet and lighting companies. Was very detail oriented, polite and easy to communicate with. A real pleasure to work with.

The sales person took her time and did not pressure. She was patient and helpful however there was some miscommunication requiring 3 change orders and added expense. The job was promised to be completed in 2 weeks.
The 'installer' worked very hard, was very friendly, cleaned up each day very well and did a superb job. The finish cabinetry is beautiful and we've had many complements.
However, there were many examples of miscommunication along the way and work that I assumed would be included was not.
Remember that 'the devil is in the details'. I recommend to prospective customers to ask many questions. Assume nothing. Remember that THE INSTALLER IS NOT AN ELECTRICIAN AND NOT A PLUMBER.
The job also ran over time. There were headaches. The finished project looks great and we are happy with out updated kitchen.

They did a very good job. Tear out was completed without any additional damage. New chrome fixtures and excellent tile work. Even touched up the paint on walls around the new towel racks.
Guidance was provided regarding choice of new ceramic tile and all the fixtures as well as how best to make tub/shower more accessible for the elderly and/or disabled.

Because I wanted to save the original tub, they took care to not scratch it. They had difficulty replacing the plumbing from the tub because the drain was at an awkward angle but they figured out how to successfully access it from the kitchen below through a recessed ceiling light fixture and did no damage, whatsoever. The shower doors were adhering to the tub with caulking and it was difficult to remove. But they took their time and carefully scraped it clean. Every one of the workers was pleasant, polite and professional. They were careful not to track any dirt through my house and they cleaned up everything every day before leaving.

The Plumbing Source has been my 'go to' plumber for over 10 years. When I found out that they did bathroom remodeling, I did not hesitate to ask them for a quote. They were prompt, attended to details, kept the mess to a minimum and did everything I asked of them.

We are disappointed and very angry!  After multiple meetings and an on-site visit to our home, Provider estimated our project at a relatively high (but acceptable) price.  Reviews on Angie?s List and elsewhere were very positive, so we figured that good quality and workmanship would justify a premium price.
Ten weeks into the project and after many project meetings requiring time-off from work (they don?t meet on your schedule, only theirs, and never evenings or weekends!) we were given a final proposal price, which was over 35% higher than the original estimate.  When we questioned the large increase, the Provider explained that he had erroneously included a higher profit margin in the final proposal, adding over $2,000 to the price.  Provider agreed to reduce the final price by this amount and take only the profit that was included in the original estimate.
A week later the Provider informed us that he was dropping our project but keeping our initial payment / design fee.
Considering the 11 weeks lost in the Provider?s lengthy ?process?, and the Provider?s decision (not ours) to quit, we again asked for a refund of our initial payment / design fee.  The Provider refused, claiming that he had completed the design portion of the project and was entitled to keep the design fee.  The completed design documentation (for which we were charged $1,500) contains drawings with incorrect dimensions (countertop dimensions off by more than 3 inches!) and is really of no value to anyone.
Over the years we?ve built major room additions, finished basements, remodeled kitchens and bathrooms, built garages, etc. but this was the most stressful, time-wasting, inefficient construction / remodeling experience we?ve ever had.  Buyer Beware!
