It went well.  He was knowledgeable, professional, and got my Laptop up and running quickly.  It is our primary home computer, so I was concerned, but he did a great job, and was done right away!!!

In the process of doing this, he did not get along with my POS company at all. He did not perform the final part of his job. I was paying him by the hour. He had me purchase a computer switch so he could tie in the computers and he never did. I think he got fed up with my POS company. He did not connect the computers and only two of them are working and the printers are not connected. I called him to come finish the work and he refused. He says that I have taken it personally, which is untrue. I said that I was disappointed that he didn’t finish the job. This has had a negative effect on my restaurant. He failed to finish the services that I hired him for.  When I asked him if he was listed on Angie’s List, he hung up on me

We were satisfied with the results and with their responsiveness. We did not have them do anything and we didn’t pay anything the second time we used them. We wound up replacing the computer the first time we used them, it was more price-efficient than having them repair it. As far as I know, it’s a one-guy operation and I had no problem with him. He’s nice and competent and he did what we needed done. He diagnosed the problem and he came up with a solution which was to replace the computer.

Jerry diagnosed both PCs on his first visit.  For the PC that was performing slowly with frequent crash and reboot occurrences, he determined there was insufficient RAM memory "headroom" for the OS to perform efficiently (OS was using about 97% of RAM).  He installed two malware applications but determined the PC was clean or any serious threats.  He then proceeded to remove applications that were not needed (such as multiple virus protection software) and using too many OS resources.  He and I went through the list one-by-one, and he never uninstalled an application without my permission.  When finished, the OS was using about 50-60% of RAM, and the crash/reboot occurrences stopped.  Boots are much faster, and the system runs faster overall.  The charge for more than two hours of work was $180.
Jerry diagnosed the other PC with the "blue screen" issue and determined that its fatal kernel error could not be corrected.  We discussed several options about the PC, and Jerry guided me on cost vs benefit of each.  At my direction, he removed both hard drives and took them to his shop for data recovery.  He returned two weeks later (since I was on out-of-state business in the interim) with hard drives in hand.  About 250 GB of data had been recovered (all my photos, multimedia files, documents, email, favorites ... !!!), and the drives had been wiped with mil-spec software, ready for reinstallation.  Jerry had found about 6 serious malware/trojan programs that had somehow gotten past my battery of protection software.  Further, Jerry had used his personal 500 GB portable Western Digital hard drive for data recovery, and agreed to sell it to me for a very fair price, so I wouldn't have to reformat my existing portable hard drive for data transfer.  Data recovery is very expensive, but Jerry charged $250 for many hours of work, AND this included the cost of a super almost-new hard drive (generally $60 - $90 in itself).  Jerry indicated he would address any future questions I would have about reinstalling the Windows OS on the wiped drives.
Simply stated, Jerry provided superior service, in a friendly, professional manner.  I regard him as trustworthy and effective.  His pricing is more than competitive (a bargain in some respects), and I can say that TechBachelors is now my one and only "go to" for IT support.  Period.
I recommend TechBachelors highly and without reservation!

I have used Jerry several times over the last few years and always look forward to having him help me with my personal and business computer hardware needs.  He is a great resource over the phone as well.  I can always count on Jerry for an honest opinion on computers, printers, storage management, and network help.  The equipment I have gotten through him has been perfect for my needs.  I never find that he has "oversold" me on unnecessary equipment.  This is as close to having a personal IT Department as anyone not affiliated with a big company can have.  I am so glad that I was able to find him on Angie's List almost 4 years ago!  I have already set up another appointment with him before June.

If it was possible to give Mike an A+ on the ratings, Mike would be our choice to earn it in all categories. He has helped us with all kinds of home computer issues and is always dependable, professional and patient.  This most recent time, my husband called him at 10pm over a weekend with a computer problem and Mike was able to fix the problem remotely!  We were back in business in one hour!  You don't get service like that anywhere else!   Thanks, Mike!!!

Speedy return of call; friendly, cooperative  and generous with extending 'Big Deal' deadline.  Called from the road when he was detained and still arrived within 10 minutes of the appointment time.
Friendly, courteous, VERY PROFESSIONAL!    I am recommending Jerry Jones and TechBachelors to family and friends sincerely and eagerly!!!!

As I said, Lee is very honest and professional. He called us when he said he would and our computer was ready for pick-up when he said it would be. Because of the excellent service that Lee provided me, I am having him tune up my daughter and son's laptops!

He was recommended to me by a neighbor when we were having problems setting up a wireless system in our house. He is very prompt and seems to know his stuff; so I think he is competent. He was able to solve the problem to our satisfaction. He is a capable, professional guy whose pricing is in line. He is not cheap, but he is reasonable. I will use him again in the future.

This is not the first time I have used Jerry. He is great to work with and gives you an honest opinion on hardware and software needs. He is always happy to help improve your current computer and office systems. I will continue to use him as the need arises. I know when I call he will get right back to me, and his customer service is second to none. When you have a computer problem it can be a very difficult situation, knowing that I can call Jerry makes the situation that much easier to tackle. The pricing is very fair for his service and knowledge.
