  • Mark was great. He arrived exactly on time. He was honest about it not being worth repairing bc of the sealed system leaking. The other big box retailer repair centers wanted $125 just to check it out. The fact that he doesn't rip you off with a service call to tell you what's wrong is amazing. I will absolutely use him in the future!

  • I called Mark for a repair on a clothes washer. After discussing the issues, he advised me that while it could be repaired, there would likely be more expensive repairs in the near future. The combined costs of this immediate repair and likely expensive future repairs made it clear that it was time to buy a new washer. Mark made no money off of my request for a service call, and in fact lost business on the future expensive repairs to this washer. So, while there was no money that changed hands today, Mark made a lifelong customer when I do need service. This is customer service, and will not be forgotten! Thanks Mark!

  • Very well. Mark diagnosed and fixed it quickly. Neat and very professional. our ice maker wasn't working. Instead of taking an opportunity to make more money he asked us to try a simple fix. Honest and reasonably priced.

  • Mark called me and was able to come to the house the same day - right within the window he estimated. He initially offered some over the phone tips/diagnostic, which was great, but ultimately he needed to come to the house. Nice guy, professional, quickly assessed our problem, which was really cost prohibitive to repair and it was recommended we replace the nearly 10 year old washer. There was no repair and he did not charge for the service call. Will definitely be calling with my next appliance issue. He also likes dogs! Thank you, Mark!

  • FIXED! He scheduled a prompt service visit, showed up when promised, diagnosed the problem, and returned the same day to install the necessary part -- and even ran a test wash. Everything was prompt, polite, neat and tidy. All good.

  • Mark was at my house two days after initially getting in touch with him to take a look at problems I was having with my washer and dryer. Long story short, my washer and dryer we're unable to replicate the problems they were having when Mark came over. Despite this, Mark took the time to make sure everything was running smoothly while he was here, and did not charge to take a look at the issues. He told me to give him a call again if the issues come back after he leaves. Due to his professionalism and courtesy, I absolutely will if I need to.

  • The J&B team came out promptly. They diagnosed the problem immediately and ordered the part from GE. They feared it might take over 2 months to get this part, but within a week they had secured and installed a new fan. Oven works great again, and no issues since.

  • They assessed and gave me a cost to repair. Discussed options with my tech, we determined it wasn't worth it, so bought a new one. The staff helped me find just the right one to fit my specs. Then sent out a tech to measure and make sure it would fit before ordering. Installed and it works great.

  • There was no gas to one of my Thermador  gas top burners.  He had me turn it on and light it with a match and the thing worked.  It hasn't worked in years and it may have fixed itself but he could have come out and charged me to 'fix' it.

    My disposal didn't work and I explained it was like there was no power to it, no grinding noise.  I had used the 'key' and turned it and that did not help.  Over the phone he told me about the reset button.  He said if it clicks when pushed in, try it and that fixed it.  He did say if it keeps needing to be reset, I may need a new disposal.

    Mark's came highly recommended from a friend and I would tell everyone to call Mark's.  The call lasted under one minute and both of my problems were fixed at no charge.   Call Mark's of Northfield for service.

  • Very well, I had to go on vacation and he helped me to shut it off while I would be away so there would be no "surprises" when I returned. He ordered the part, that piece took awhile because it was in china....but as soon as it came in, came over immediately to replace the part.
