Evidently my elderly uncle did not call for winterization services when he received a postcard. He called today to schedule it. The woman with whom he spoke was totally unconcerned, said all the workers had been laid off for the season and had no recommendation of who else might be contacted. He has used this expensive service for more years than I could tell you and the lack of empathy or concern...

I fixed the problems myself and canceled appointment.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
After turning our irrigation system on for the season we had some issues with some of the heads. I called to place a service call but was told that I would have to sign a service agreement first (apparently one had been sent to us in February along with a list of services they can provide which I tossed). I made a trip to the office to sign the paper and schedule an appointment. Office staff was rude and dismissive. I asked to speak with Marshall but was denied. This company installed our system nearly 20 years ago and have been back every year for service and/or winterization. We referred multiple neighbors to them. There is no longer any consideration for loyal customers who could get the same services for a lot less money elsewhere. I like to support local businesses but will no longer use or recommend this company. Office staff needs some customer service training and management needs to respect their client base! I will say that the service staff (the guys in the field, Mike in particular) are awesome and will be missed.

They were not very helpful. After over 10 years of hiring them, we are going with someone else. Who pays for services that have not been done?

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
We had been a good paying customer for over 10 years. This year when my husband called to schedule the same service we had for the passed 10 years, he was told that he would have to pay for all the applications for the whole season up front before any work would be done. This is new and never been done before. We promptly paid them when the work was completed in the past. Needless to say we are going with a different lawn care service.

Terrible. The cost was 25% over the estimate partly because the crew failed to connect to an existing run next to the house, The junction box is in the front yard. We were told it would be back next to the house. The replacement of grass was also not well done.
