    Originally, Rick's sent a gentleman out to repair washer. He was nice. Spent time checking out washer and was able to tell me what was wrong with the washer. Gave me the part #s I would need with an estimate for the repair, parts and labor. He also advised me that the cost of the repair was almost the cost of a new washer and was advising I buy a new washer from them. My washer is only 2 yrs old and is still under full warranty for parts from GE. So I contacted GE, who was great about the whole thing. They sent me the parts, free of charge and I received over night. I called Rick's back, who said they would have to call me back about the repair. I waited 2 days, with no call back. I called them again and I was advised that this kind of repair could not be done in the home, and that I needed to bring the washer to them if I wanted the repair. I was confused since they were so willing to come and diagnose the problem. I repeated back to the gentleman on the phone that this was a washer they had already looked at, not a microwave or something small. He again told me the only way I could get my washer fixed was if I brought it in to the shop to them. At that point, I told him "not a problem, I would throw the washer in the back seat of my car and be right up with it."  Needless to say Rick's is not fixing my washer. I did call GE back, who has now provided me with step by step diagramed instructions on how to fix the washer myself.

    I had used Toller's Appliance for a repair a few year's back and they seemed great. Our local Lowe's had recommended them to me for a service. So I called them again. This time, I called 3 times before I got a return phone call. I wrote it off to the bad weather we had been having previously. Chris came out, was very nice and prompt. He starts the washer and see that it spins and seems to work. I told him, it doesn't once clothes are added. He takes the front panel off and advises me the washer is showing a code 21, which is motor out of sync. Just need a reset. Takes about 5 mins. Motor is reset, Chris claims washer is fixed and leaves with a check for $64. I go immediately to wash a load of clothes since it had been 6 days since I had been able to do a load of laundry. The very first load, washer won't spin during rinse cycle. I immediately call and start the leaving of messages on their phone, both the 866# and on Chris's cell phone #. I have called 3 times with no response over 2 days. I wish I would have looked on Angie's List prior to contacting them for service. This seems to be their poor method of service. I will not recommend them for any other service, nor will I call them again. I have put a stop payment on the check and have contacted Rick's Appliance for the repair.

    It took four visits, and then they only came out because I filed a complaint with the BBB cincinnati. All they had to do was replace the ice maker.
