    Dublin Methodist Hospital
My daughter is from Northeast Ohio and was visiting us (her folks) in Hilliard when she came down with a hemiplegic migraine which is a condition she was diagnosed with about 10 years ago.  She also has Werners Aphasis.  Both of these are confirmed diagnoses by a neurologist.  Her neurologist in Canton subscribed numerous medications including Demerol 100 injection which is the only thing that she can take for these episodes.  Unfortunately, she forgot this when packing.  As as result she needed emergency care and was transported to Dublin Methodist by paramedics for treatment where she was assigned to Dr. Ciolli.  He was given a full history of this disability, the meds prescribed and the neurologist that confirmed the diagnosis and has been treating her  for many years.
Dr. Ciolli took the information and looked up her narcotics use in some system that he indicated he was bound by in determining his use of narcotics.  He indicated that she had filled three 100 count bottles of Valium in one day and was in danger of being arrested for a felony.  We knew that was ridiculous as we pay for all her medications and keep our receipts for all prescription purchases and there is nothing even close to that (the last purchase we had was 30 Valium some time ago).  All the while she was in extreme pain and was not treated at all.  When we asked him to produce the evidence related to his assertion about the Valium he told us he would give it to us shortly.  About 15 minutes later he indicated conveniently that he was not authorized to give this to us.  She begged him to contact her neurologist for guidance and he refused.  At that time, I instructed him to take the IV out as she was leaving since treatment was withheld.  This was also performed incorrectly as right after removing the IV a nurse put a blood pressure cuff on the same arm which, when inflated, caused the IV puncture site to bleed profusely.
She then proceeded to obtain treatment elsewhere as they were supposed to as have done at Dublin Methodist.  We have never been questioned as to how a ER was supposed to treat this condition.  All the while his attitude was dismissive and suggested I contact the Governor if I wanted to complain.  This is clearly a case of a brand new shiny hospital being manned by incompetence.  I do not recommend you use this doctor and as an extension the hospital for any reason.

    Sneak A Peek Ultrasound
I saw an ad on Facebook about a special they were running with free facial and my guest to sit in the full body massage chair with a purchase of $100 or more.  I absolutely needed this due to me breaking out from this pregnancy!  This is definitely a great deal!  I booked online at midnight and I got a text and email immediately to remind me of my appointment (SO COOL).  When I showed up, I was amazed how beautiful this facility was!  While I was filling out the waiver, my husband and son was playing Mario Bros on the wii (now my son didn't want to leave that room).  Being pregnant you know you have to use the restroom frequently, and amazed again their restroom was even very pretty and smelled nice with candles.  After being thankful I didn't need a full bladder, I grabbed my busy husband and son from Mario to go see what I came here for the GENDER!  We walk back in the ultrasound room and WOW!!!  THEY HAVE MOVIE THEATER SEATS AND THEY RECLINE and we watched our baby on an 80" TV!  When the tech put the gel on me I was expecting really cold gel, THEY WARM THEIR GELS!  They explained everything to us during the ultrasound and pointed everything out because we had no idea what we were looking at at times.  AND YES... I got my girl!!  Great pics and lots of pics!  When the session was done they cleaned me up with a real towel and again a HOT Towel!  She even lotion me up!! Now, it's time for the facial and massage chair for my husband.  They brought a chair in for my son and he watched NETFLIX while mommy and daddy was getting pampered.  We left there in such excitement and not to mention we were relaxed and refreshed.  I absolutely recommend this facility to everyone!  It is a really great experience and I will go there for all of my pregnancy's and will return a couple more times during this pregnancy.  I also get 20% off on all services during this pregnancy.  I love this place!!!

Absm, Dr. James P Fulop Abpn
The people who performed the overnight sleep test were a separate entity.  They were wonderful.                                                 My issue was with Dr. Fulop's office.  I had already googled about sleep tests.  He asked if I had any questions and I briefly said what I found online.  He didn't add more, just repeated some of what I'd already said.  He instructed me to talk to his staff to set up the sleep study appointment.  I spoke to him for approx. 5 - 8 minutes.  I received a bill for a one hour consultation for about $360.  I phoned and contested the charge, but was told even if I was there a few seconds, I would be charged for the full hour.  If I'd known that, I would have talked a lot more.  About anything, like that mole on my back!                                                               Dr. Fulop gives the impression he is not interested in patients or enthused about his specialty.  It is hard to say what value he added, except reading the sleep study results and approving the BiPAP machine.  The results went to my regular GP and I got a BiPAP machine.  Dr. Fulop's office called to schedule a follow-up appointment and I asked why; was there something he needed to tell me?  Apparently not.  They just schedule, charge you for another hour and that's it.                                                                 It has been a little over a year.  I need to consult a sleep medicine doctor again but want to go to a different doctor.  For all I know, Dr. Fulop is brilliant, but I can't tell because he didn't say much. The sleep test was incredibly expensive and my insurance deductible is high, so this was all out-of-pocket.

Way to much to even begin to write. They are always available when something is not right. For me that's been often. They always take the time to answer your questions. Again, not only are the doctors great, but the staff is wonderful as well!

    Hilliard Family Medicine
    • I was able to schedule an appointment the same day which was very convenient and the staff was very friendly upon arrival.
    • My issues started once the Dr. came in to see me:
    • - He asked me very few questions around my symptoms (maybe 3 questions at best, 2 of them not even relating to my illness).
    • - When he looked into my nose he would just comment how inflamed/awful it looked without mentioning anything further - not helpful or informative.
    • - Had very poor bedside manners and was rude when I mentioned I originally went to a Minute Clinic (which was 100 times more thorough than this Dr. was).
    • - He prescribed me with more antibiotics and when I asked him a question around antibiotics and just finishing a cycle of strong antibiotics, his answer was short and not helpful.
    • - He did not tell me if it was even a sinus infection or what the diagnosis was - he just told me that he was going to prescribe me with more antibiotics and "hopefully that will kill the thing".
    • - He also didn't tell me what type of antibiotic he was prescribing, how long the prescription was for, when I should see improvements, when to come back if I do not...normal things that a Dr. should walkthrough he did none of the above.
    • - He didn't give me the chance/time to ask any follow-ups as his laptop battery died and he said he sent the prescription and told me to have a nice day and walked out of the room.

One of the worst Dr. experiences I have ever experienced. I have never had such service where the Dr. was in and out in 8 minutes, prescribing me meds just to get me out the door.
I have had similar experiences at this office from other Dr.s where I felt rushed and not thoroughly examined. I will definitely be looking for another family Dr.

    Kreger, Dr. Cynthia G.
I like that she's very well informed in all the new developments in medicine. She works with me to help modify my lifestyle for the better. Whenever I've asked her for referrals, she's recommended specialists that are excellent. She's quick to get back to me if I have a question or need a prescription refilled. She's a very good diagnostician. She takes the time to discuss with me everything I'd want to talk about.

I ended up with Courtney Ozulla. They are very thorough. They spent a lot of time with me, way more than you will typically expect. They got a good history that we were able to address. She sent me to several specialists to address the concerns that I had. She is good. The office environment is very physical doctor's office. I'll go back to her again. The availability is good.

    Kenneth M. Ecker, M.D.
I like him. My previous doctor was willing to throw pills at me for anything, and he doesn't do that. He is willing to take the time to get me off all medicines which is a huge change in the right direction. He is a general practitioner, but he is also kind of a semi heart specialist, which I like, because that is the most important part of the body that is likely to go wrong. You don't have to go anywhere else to get your blood work, they do it all right there. I have spent very little time in the waiting room. He is excellent.

I have been a patient of his for seven years. He is very compassionate and never seems in a hurry. When I walk out of his office I always feel good and more confident that I am going to be ok even after he put two stints in. I wish all doctors could have his bedside manner.

    Dusseau, Dr. Steven
He was a good Doc, very personable and took the time to answer any questions I had. I went in for a physical, so it was just a routine visit, but I didn't feel rushed like I have with other Doctors. I definitely feel comfortable having him as my primary care physician. The staff was very friendly as well, and the facilities were clean and up to date.
