    Accurate Locksmith & Security
I called Accurate Locksmith & Security while on my lunch break,
and spoke with Alex.  I explained what had happened, that when
locking the bottom locking entry knob on my way to work, I had heard
an crunching noise, and how I spent the next 45 minutes trying to get
the key out of the lock, so I could get to work.  I explained how I had to
be able to gain entry to my home, later that evening so my son could
take his medicine.   He said he had an idea of what the issue was and
how he's seen this happen before.
I had asked Alex when he would be able to make it to my home and
take care of the issue.  He stated that he had a few jobs and wasn't
sure how fast he would be able to finish the other jobs and make it
to mine.  He stated that it probably wouldn't be until later in the afternoon,
and if I needed it in a hurry, he had a few other companies he would
provide that could take care of me.  I stated that the the evening time
(after work) worked for me, as I didn't have to leave work early.  Alex
said he would let me know when he was finished with the last job and
be able to take care of me, and we set the appointment.
True to his word, Alex called me and let me know he was finished and
on his way.  This worked out great as I was done with work and in route
    back to my house.
Alex showed up faster that I expected with all the crazy rush hour traffic
that day and assessed my situation.  The deadbolt worked great, but the
locking entry knob in question was a lost cause.   I figured it was not going
to be easy, but Alex was able to gain access to my garage.  Lucky for
me, I don't use my garage door opener and have the opener dis-engaged.
Alex was able to make quick work of the garage door lock, and I was in my
garage, and able to use my key  on the door to gain access to my house.
This saved me, or should I say Alex from having to drill out the old lock,
which would no doubt add to the fee.
Once inside, I was able to get the faulty locking entry knob unlocked.
Alex pointed out something that I've overlooked for years.  The locking
entry knob was not needed as the deadbolt was doing the securing of
the door not the entry knob.  He had suggested that I replace the faulty
knob with a standard non-locking entry knob.  I agreed, it made perfect
sense.  Alex asked if I would like him to replace the faulty knob, as he
thought he still had a knob with the same antique finish that my deadbolt
had, making it a seem-less change.  I was more than happy to have Alex
swap out the faulty knob, as it saved me a trip to the hardware store, and
the time to pull the old one and replace with a new one, so I said have at it.
Alex walked to the van and returned with the new non-locking knob, and
in a matter of 5 minutes (ok, more like 3,  but I delayed him a bit with a few
questions), he had the old knob removed, and the new knob in place.
    I couldn't be happier.
Recapping the services, attempt to get knob unlocked, unlock garage door,
remove old knob, replace with new antique finish knob.  I was very happy
with the amount Alex quoted me.  To be honest, it was cheaper than I was
quoted by the two companies I had tried before finding Accurate Locksmith
and Security, and it include the removal and installation of a new knob.
I was very please with the service so much, I referred a co-worker to him
as well, the very next day.   I hope I never have to call Alex again (sorry Alex),
but if I have a situation, or a family member in central Ohio has an issue like
this, I would not hesitate to call Alex and Accurate Locksmith & Security

Frank was able to schedule my work quickly and arrived right on time. He did all the work quickly and smoothly and changed out one of the door's catch plates so it locked more easily. The locks had been pretty old and took some jiggling to get them open and closed, both doors now work great.

Alex explained the entire time frame from ordering and installing.  He delivered as scheduled.  He was able to match the existing cutouts in the door with a new lockset and handle that was the color and finish I wanted.  The end result is a new, working lockset and handle that makes the door look like new.

Alex came over on his way to another job immediately after I called.  He got the lock to work as a temporary solution.  He will order and install a replacement lock to match.  Excellent service and professionalism.

I accidentally locked myself out my house, and after exhausting all other options, realized I had to call a locksmith. In somewhat of a panic, I called the first company that seemed trustworthy on a web search on my phone. I should have known to go straight to Angie's List.
The first company took two hours, and once they arrived started drilling into my door. I'm not a locksmith, but I knew that couldn't be the answer. He said he needed a smaller drill bit and his partner was going to come over in 30 minutes. At that point I went to Angie's List, called OpenIt, and he was at my house in 15 minutes, and got me in my house in literally 30 seconds.
The tech who arrived, I actually forget his name, was incredibly professional and trustworthy. He made me feel better about having a locksmith coming to my home.
$73 for an emergency service call and service was worth it to me--I don't plan on making a habit of getting locked out.

We hired them to install new hardware and locks (including a keyless entry) on a house we had just purchased.  Alex met us at the house, walked through with us, listened to our concerns and made suggestions.  Once we had picked out the items and services we wanted, Alex gave us a quote that seemed reasonable (it was expensive, but quality usually is).  He ordered the parts and then made a special trip to bring us the padlock for the shed the day of our move.  The parts came in and he came out to install everything, only to find that he had mis-measured one of the items.  He installed the other items, cleaning up after his work quite thoroughly.  He re-ordered the other part and installed that within a few days.  Alex is clearly concerned with doing quality work and takes security very seriously.

The locksmith showed up on time, explained my options and got to work. He was professional and friendly. I'd just moved into the house and forgot about the exterior door to the garage, and even though he had to make another trip on another day he did not charge me for a second service call. I'd use him again.

I called Accurate Locksmith about getting some new door hardware and locks on my front and rear doors. Alex came out and looked at my doors. He took measurements and made some suggestions on different types of hardware and locks. He even gave me a catalog of different styles and types. Alex was very knowledgeable about the lock that was best for my door. He was especially helpful in choosing the best design.
He ordered the locks for me and and within a few days, he called to say they had arrived. He stopped out the next day and installed them. They work great and look awesome. In addition, since I was repainting my front door, Alex gave me some tips on the best choice of paint for the door and the best way to keep the door hardware looking great.
Overall, I'm very pleased with Accurate Locksmith and would highly recommend them

Provider called to let me know he was running a few minutes late.  Explained to me in detail my options on the door in the garage and had him begin the work.  Took about 1.5 hours to complete.  Provider answered all of my questions and was very helpful.  Swept up and cleaned up after the work was complete.  Did an awesome job and would recommend.

Alex first came out on October 11 2012.  None of his keys would work in the lock.  He spent quite a bit of time working with the lock trying to alter a key so it would work.  When that didn't work he took the lock out and back to his shop.  He was going to try to work on it further there.  The lock was very old.  Alex told me it was much better made than most locks.  Therefore, it would be hard to make a replacement key.
Alex worked on the project for three weeks.  He consulted three other locksmiths for advice.  Eventually I came across the key packed in an old printer's drawer.  Not a logical place for the movers to have put it, but there it was!
Alex brought back the original lock and put it back in place.  He'd put a lot of time and effort into this, but he didn't charge me anything.  He said it was an interesting project and a good opportunity for him to learn more about antique locks.  That was payment enough for him!
