    Arbaugh Tree Service
After taking my information on August 20th at 1:50pm, they said they would take a look and give me a quote. I never heard from them again. Nor was an estimate left in my door. I am retired and disabled and was home all week. They just didn't show up. Or they looked at it and didn't want the job so they just didn't respond. Not what I usually experience when I contact an "A" rated company on Angie's List.

    9 Trees Landscape Construction
Everything turned out beautifully. My patio was 16 years old and almost looks brand new..Although rated price as a B it is because I know I could have done cheaper thru other companies ..The work completed was fantastic and sometimes you pay for quality and professionalism. I would recommend them to others and would reuse them in future

    9 Trees Landscape Construction
Great! They got it done so quickly and it looks great! We had an event coming up and getting it done in time was crucial. They worked like crazy and cleaned up after themselves every night. Recommend highly! Excellent, professional work. Very Happy!

    Autumn Oak Landscaping
When I sought out estimates from companies, Dillon was the first to respond and after hearing back from others, Autumn Oaks was also the least expensive. Dillon was also upfront and honest about his schedule estimate. He and a co-worker came and removed the stump efficiently. Most impressive to me was the care and professionalism of Dillon and his co-worker. I had mentioned that we had a sick family member. He remembered that when he came to do the work and asked about the family member and shared some about his own family. Upon completion, they cleaned our entire driveway, not just the part their equipment was on. They also helped us unload pavers from our truck that was delivered while they were here. After clearing the stump, Dillon gave some input on a replacement with a pink diamond hydrangea that would fill the space nicely. He is a young man who definitely knows his work. He and his co-worker are also mechanics which comes in handy on keeping their equipment running. I was very impressed with the two of them and felt good about giving them business. Our stump is removed and they went quite deep and hauled away the excess. I'm very happy with their work and would definitely recommend and use them again.

Monster Tree Service of Central Ohio
Andy Mays from Monster Tree Service came out the next day following a quote request through Angie's List. He provided a quick and fair estimate, and promised that a crew would be out within two weeks. The crew actually came out one week later, which was the good news. The problem that arose was that the crew only took out part of the overhanging branches. I alerted the company to the problem, and Andy came back out to examine the job within 2 days. He took pictures of the remaining branches, informed me that they were having some difficulties with the site supervisor who was originally assigned to my project, and promised a new foreman within a week to complete the project. A new crew came out and completed the job to perfection. It's worth noting that both times the crews were out, the cleanup was spotless. I will need more tree work done in the future and I will call this company first.

    My Yard Guy
I met with the owner and walked him through my yard to show him the issues I was dealing with (uneven ground, poor grading, patchy grass coverage, dead bushes and trees, and worn down pathways where dogs constantly run). We decided that the ENTIRE yard needed graded with soil and then seeded. We also agreed that he would remove 7 arborvitaes, 1 large dead bush, and cut another large stump to the ground. I also sent him photos of what I wanted my gravel walkway to look like and he responded that he could do that for me. He and his crew arrived and worked on my yard for about 6 hours. They added some soil and graded about 1/4 of my yard and took out the trees and bushes (left the stump he was supposed to saw down). He asked to be paid in cash halfway through the job so that he could pay his workers. They came back after lunch with gravel and just dumped it in the yard and said he would come back another day and add the brick edging. The correct way to lay a gravel path is to dig the path into the ground, lay landscaping cloth, add edging material, then pour the gravel in - he did none of this. He just dumped the gravel and somewhat organized it into a pathway (he took liberty with this and put it where he wanted though and did not consult me on the changes he was making to our plan). I have honestly never seen such poor workmanship in my life. I called him the next morning to discuss my concerns with the project and he was completely surprised that I wasnt happy with the job and said that he would do what he could to remedy the situation. I didnt hear from him for a few days after that, so I had 2 other lawn professionals come out and both told me that I should not let Tyler (My Yard Guy) back to fix anything because it was clear that he didnt know what he was doing. I told Tyler that, after speaking to other professionals and realizing how far off our expectations were, I thought it would be best for him to return the $500 I paid and come pick up the gravel. He negotiated to return half of what I paid and promised to return my money and pick up the gravel by EOB that Wednesday. He never showed up to return my money or to take the gravel. I have tried contacting him through texting, calling, and social media several times and he has refused to answer my messages and then blocked my number. He has made no attempt to remedy this situation and I am now planning to take legal action against him. I have never worked with a more unprofessional person in my life and am going to work very hard to make sure that no one else gets scammed out of money and work like I have.

    9 Trees Landscape Construction
We have a paver patio that previous owners installed that started falling apart not long after we purchased the house. I contacted 9 Trees in October 2018 to get a quote for the work, and they were initially very responsive. They quickly provided a quote. We decided that we were going to put the project off until the spring and communicated that to 9 Trees and that we would be in touch then. Fast forward to spring: on 21 March I emailed the individual who provided the quote asking if the quote was still good and whether there was any possibility of tightening up the numbers. No response. After a week, just in case that individual was no longer with 9 Trees, I called the company. I was told that Matt was still with the company and that they would ensure he would get back to me the same day. Nothing. I called again on April 3rd and was patched through directly to Matt. He busted an attitude with me "we gave the quote in October, and now you want me to do the job for less?" I reminded him of our earlier conversation that I would be in touch in the spring, but in the end he communicated that his company was not interested in my project. I found his attitude and demeanor rude and unprofessional and would not recommend this company to others.

The contractor came out immediately and provided an estimate. The next day they returned with a large crew, a skid loader and bucket truck and removed the tree including a large root ball. The work was completed in one hour and was performed perfectly.

    DLL Landscaping & Tree Service
DLL was here when they said they would be. They were very communicative. They did everything we asked. They left our yard much better than they found it. Much better than I was expecting. I can't speak to how their price compared to others as they were the only quote we got. Honestly, they did such a good job, I'm really glad they were referred to us. I would happily hire them again, and if any one asks, I am happy to refer them to family, friends, and neighbors.

    Vaughanscapes Outdoor Living
Vaughanscapes did a great job for us. They built a large patio with a cedar pergola for us. It is a beautiful outdoor space that we used all summer and fall. And we are looking forward to enjoying it this spring. Their work is high quality and they pay attention to the details. In addition, I really liked how quickly we got a response from Kenny or Elizabeth whenever we reached out to them.
