  • It's just like a daycare and a kennel.  We use them all the time.  My dogs have been going there since they were puppies and they love it.  Every time, they're super excited to be dropped off.  They come back tired and well cared for.

  • Took dog there multiple times and he had a great time while he was a puppy. Now that he is older and needs more attention, it is not a good pick. They do not offer any 1:1 personal time like other places around Columbus. So, good for social dogs and horrible for others...

  • I really like that they keep daily logs and can tell me how my pets are eating, behaving, etc. My cat has a sensitive stomach and they could tell me if she got ill on any day. upon pickup they provide a short summary of the stay and that is awesome! They had no problem administering the cat's medication. They were pretty accommodating when we had to pick up our pets a day late due to unexpected travel changes.

  • Just moved to Columbus and very easily transferred our dogs from a previous, out-of-state Camp Bow Wow location to Hillard's. The transition could not have been smoother! The staff are friendly and professional, and the dogs seem happy. The only drawback is price -- even with a two-dog discount package, doggie daycare costs $21 per dog, per day, which is on the expensive side for us. Nevertheless hours are great, so we will continue to bring our dogs here.

  • Great experience! We hadn't boarded our dog previously, but when neighbors who usually watch her were unable to do so, we boarded her at Buckeye Boarding based on reviews and personal references. We couldn't have been happier! She stayed one weekend, and then again for a little over a week starting a few days later. She was eager to go back to the kennel room with the employee who carried her, which was a good sign that she was comfortable. They walk the dogs 3 times a day, feed and water them, and play with them, as well. (And give medicine if needed.) Dogs are walked separately -- not together and not put together to play (which is what we preferred, especially with our small dog who isn't keen on big dogs). Our dog was clean and happy when we picked her up both times. I think our dog missed her new human playmates when she came home!

  • We were in need of a boarder for the weekend on short notice. Our regular boarder was full up, so I started looking on line and found Pet Suites of America. Cathy was very helpful on the phone and I went out to see the facility since they had an opening. I was very pleased with the set up of the facility and the tour. It is light, clean, and airy. Most kennels I've seen are dark, closed in, and dreary looking. I felt very comfortable using this facility. The town home we reserved included a two hour group play time which made the cost right in line with another boarder facility we use with a similar set up. Cathy told us about the online coupon for first time boarders which allows for one free night, so we boarded for two nights, but only paid for one. Our pups seemed very happy when we picked them up and were very calm on the ride home. Everyone with whom we had contact were extremely professional and personable. Although our regular boarder is 10 minutes away and this one is 30 minutes away from our home, it would be worth the extra drive to use them again. I would feel very good leaving my pets in the care of this facility and their people based on my first experience with them.

  • The staff provided quality pet boarding. My dog stays there 2-3 times a year and we are always pleased. He receives nice accommodations in a very clean facility. Fenway especially loves the play groups!

  • We rec'd a free one day stay. Our goldendoodle had a great time;however, 8 days later he came down with kennel cough.  I emailed the store to let them know they should notify the owner of the other goldendoodle our dog was playing with of the disease...they never emailed or called back. Recently 11/2013 there was a local news story of a dog at this location which was given to the wrong owner and it ran away for about a week until it could be found. I wouldnt take my dogs there in future.  With vet bills, this free one day cost us $175 with no apology or return phone call

  • The staff is amazing and takes excellent care of the animals.  In fact, my dog is paranoid and dislikes staying in strange places with unfamiliar people, but he loves everyone at Camp Bow Wow.  Furthermore, the facilites are very clean and actually a step above most other kennels.  In addition, the day care services are already included if you board a dog with them whereas other kennels charge extra for walking and play time.  They also have a webcam that allows you to view your dog while you'e away.  Ultimately, they're a great company, and I wouldn't use anyone else.

  • Cliff and Sarah run a fabulous doggie daycare and grooming salon. All the employees love dogs and look after them as if they were their own. Our dogs were always exhausted after a day at Puptown. The staff is always pleasant, professional, and efficient when checking dogs in or out. They are very receptive to dogs with special needs. They can also provide you with a report of how your dog interacted with other dogs and time of bowel movements/etc. The dogs are ALWAYS being watched by a caretaker. An added bonus - they post pictures of the dogs to Facebook throughout the day.
As for the grooming salon, we have a Great Dane who is scared of everything. Sarah and the other groomers manage to make him feel comfortable and get the job done - even if it means standing on a stepladder to bathe him! Our Dane is also anxious when separated from his sister, so they allow both dogs to be in the grooming salon together.
