I recently purchased a prior rental property that needed a lot of yard work. I contacted Rick at Team Tree who came out promptly and gave me a very reasonable price for the amount of work to be done. I hired them for 3 separate jobs and they did incredible work. They trimmed back an incredibly overgrown fruit trees, removed a stump, took out a large dead tree from an easement, and trimmed a dozen overgrown evergreen trees. They cleaned everything up beautifully. I would hire them back in a heartbeat (in fact I will do so as soon as the weather warms up again.)

Rick was very professional and nice. He explained everything that was going to be done and pricing was fair. After he was done with the tree, the yard was clear of branches and debris. Couldn't even tell he had been there, other than the tree looked amazing. Will definitely hire him again.

Rick and his associate did an amazing job! The trees were close to our house and detached garage. There is no way we could have cut them down without damaging our buildings. They are both very hard workers, professional, friendly and just outright good people. They were also very well planned out in making sure the ground was dry enough that they would not cause damage. Excellent people and service and I plan to hire them again!!

    Mowtivated Mowers of Granville
I use this company for weekly lawn cutting. I'm pretty particular about the way things are done, and so far, this company has done a good job, The crew is in and out in no time and I haven't had any negative experiences with them so far,

I couldn't afford it, but they were one of the few people that took the time to come out, take a look and then bring me back an estimate. He was the first one to give me his estimate and his was the lowest. I think the price was fair, I don't think I could have gotten it for any cheaper. The other company that turned one in, was more expensive. He wrote the estimate up alright. There were some terms on it that I didn't understand, but I would have discussed those with him prior to him starting. He took care of it pretty quick, within a good timeframe. He responded to my phone call and got out here within a good period of time. I may still use him next year.

Elm Recycling Lawn and Landscape Supply
Purchased 2 Dolmar saws , chains, oil, items for maintainence. Had trouble with both saws each time we used them, returned them and they were supposedly repaired (with no service order ever issued to me.) after they wasted my time and money and allowed the warranty period to lapse, they contacted the Dolmar company, but the Dolmar company said there was no paper trail for previous repairs. Took one saw to another facility for repair. We paid even though under warranty. Needed wood cut for the winter. The other saw we picked up in many pieces in a box. A kind representative from Dolmar helped me with the diagnosis and repair. It even had a part on the saw that didn't belong there. There was obvious damage done by Elm Recycling incompetent repair and lack of knowledge of product. Tell as many people as I can about their incompetent mechanics and customer service

WOW! I have finally experienced a business where they do exactly what the say they will, when they say they will and for the price promised! I had a very big (60 ft.) and very dead Oak tree in my yard that needed to be taken down without striking overhead wires, mail boxes, public roadways or other plants. I needed this tree cut up and removed from the property as well. There was also a living 30 foot limb on another Oak tree hanging over the driveway that needed removed. Finally I had a 20 some-odd foot tree that had already fallen, that needed to be cut up and removed.

I checked Angie's List and located a tree service close to my house. I chose Team Tree LTD,  which offered a 5% discount for Angie's List members, but more important to me, they were based just a few miles away, This is rare to find on Angie's List, since I live in Heath, Ohio, a good 40 minutes away from Columbus. Well, I set up an appointment request through Angie's List, and received a reply in less than a day. In short order, Rick Drushal came out to give me an estimate. From previous experience, I expected it to cost a fortune, at least $1000.00. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. Rick gave me a much cheaper price, and I even added stump grinding. Rick looked over the entire area, locating possible obstructions, and making a plan how to fell the tree.

Rick called to set up a day and time to do the work. The day before, because of bad weather, he called to cancel. He said he would reschedule as soon as possible, but it may be as much as a week. Well, on Sunday evening, he called to see if Monday would be O.K. It was, so everything was a go.

.Rick and two other men arrived in the morning. with a bucket truck, front loader, truck and trailer. Before I even knew it they had removed the fallen tree. The limb overhanging the driveway was next. There was the possibility of striking other, smaller plants in the yard, but they pulled it off without hurting any of the landscaping. Saving the hardest one for last, the 60 foot Oak was quick work. Using the bucket, they cut the limbs off and loaded them, Finally, they tied off ropes for safety, and felled the tree exactly where the planned. They cut the tree up, had it loaded and raked up, and out of the yard, entire job done in a little over 3 hours.

Bottom line, Rick did a great job. The communication was great. The work was done quickly, cheaply and safely. There was absolutely no debris left. Considering I live on 1.5 acres with lots of very large old trees, I am sure I will be calling Team Tree LTD again.

    Jones Topsoil Co

Driver was excellent placed gravel as directed, tailgated 30 tons up the driveway, dumped remainder where directed.

Driver was courtesy and professional in working with us to place as noted above.

Will definitely use to deliver additional products in the future.

The only reason for a B rating on punctuality was driver had to make second trip to deliver all materials instead of sending a second truck, with the first delivery

Thanks for a job well done!!

We are very pleased with them. We have a big, steep yard and it is $50 a mowing, and the sprinkling is $350-400. They really respond, and I like the quality of their work. They clean up everything, so all the yard clippings and everything is cleaned up and taken care of. We really like the quality of their work and how promptly they respond. We have called them to make sure that everything is taken care of and they always get back to me within 24 hours. They also provide inputs to help me make decisions in terms of what I need.

I have had Quality Edge as my lawn care and snow removal provider for about 4 years. When Mr. Ross started cutting my grass he did a great job. My yard is a little over 1 acre, with some mature trees, flower beds, plants, some rocks and some lawn ornaments, with a slough running across the front of the property, at the roadway. There are some rough spots in the yard, and sometimes when it has rained, the ground is very soft. Mr. Ross made the yard look great, cut the grass, trimmed around the flower beds etc, cleared debris on the sidewalk, etc. During the first year, there were a couple of mishaps, where he accidently cut down some plants, but all in all it was a good job. At the end of that first year, Mr. Ross told me that he miscalculated how much work would be involved, and would be increasing my bill from $65.00 to $75.00 a cut. I agreed.

Mr. Ross also offered to do some more intense work, helping me clear branches, weeds and yard debris from the yard. I have several mature trees on the property, and you would definitely call my home "out in the country". One area of work was a line of Yucca plants interspersed with Sassafras trees, by the roadway. The trees were suckers that had grown up over time, the tallest about 10 feet. The Yucca plants, about 20 in all, were somewhat overgrown. I told Mr. Ross that he could take out as many Yuccas as he wanted, I didn't care if he pulled them all out, but make sure he saved the two largest Sassafras trees. Well, I'm sure you know where this is going; when I got home, all the Yuccas were still there, and all the trees had been cut down. When I told Mr. Ross what the problem was, he joked, "You want me to put them back?" I eventually started putting stakes in the ground and wire cages around the plants that were being continuously damaged, making my yard look like a marked mine field.

The next year, I had a large maple tree  near the house die. Mr. Ross's son worked for a nearby university doing the exact service I needed, so I hired the two to take down the tree. Well, the tree ended up striking the house, causing damage to the vinyl siding and storm door. Mr. Ross apologized and offered to "fix that." I had no idea whether he had any knowledge or experience with siding, so I told him I would take care of it.  During the next years at least a dozen plants were cut down, including 2 hardy hibiscus in the front yard and a patch of wild ferns that I intended to transplant, that I eventually gave up on ever seeing again, a spider lily plant, coreopsis, a small beech tree, a flower bed in the front yard that was cut smaller and smaller, every time the lawn was mowed, several day lilies and Asiatic lilies. Several times, my car, parked on the gravel driveway, ended up covered in sticky grass, and often, spots were cut down to dirt or ruts were sunk in a wet yard. Every time I mentioned these problems, Mr. Ross apologized and sometimes blamed the problem on unqualified helpers.

This last year was the last straw. During the winter, when they plowed my driveway, they left piles of gravel a good distance into the yard, and a cement slab (12"x12") was dragged from the top of the drive down to the roadway, as well as a fairly large rock from one of the flower beds near the drive. When I complained the gravel was blown back onto the drive with a leaf blower and after a second complaint the slab was returned to the top of the drive. Next, a spider lily that I complained about a year ago, was again cut down. A strip of yard, approximately 20 feet by 60 feet, between my neighbor's an my property was left uncut, as well as spots on the other side of the property. Once again, the front yard flower bed was shrunk, including a coreopsis which shrunk from a diameter of over 2 feet to less than a foot. I called to complain and Terry Ross, Mr. Ross's son told me "We'll get it next time." I also found another spot of broken siding on the house where a rock was thrown up. After cutting the grass right after a heavy rain, the passenger side of my car was covered with sticky wet grass. I had to take it to a car wash to clean it. I normally pay my bill with an automatic payment from my bank, but in June I did not pay the previous months bill. I was totally frustrated and didn't know what to do. I was also called out of state on a family emergency. I am on a pension which is distributed once a month on the 1st, and the lawn care bill was two months unpaid. I sent a payment for one month, and deducted $50.00 for the time when the lawn was not cut completely, and the plant and car damage occurred. I also apologized and explained that I would make the account current when I got paid on the 1st of the month. I received an email from Terry Ross, asking how I knew that the damage was caused by the lawn mower and not animals eating the plants. I countered that animals don't leave tire tracks, don't eat just around the outer edges of flower beds and don't "cut" plants down to the ground and then mulch the debris. Terry Ross then emailed me that they were discontinuing my service and expected the balance immediately. Luckily, I was able to find another service to cut my grass at a cheaper price, and after two months I have had none of the problems experienced with Quality Edge.
