The floor itself looks okay. The workers, however, snooped around our house. Took things from rooms, played with things in the house. We have evidence of this on our camera that was set up while they were working.

Boyd Construction, Hardwood Flooring, and Colors by Boyd Painting
Everything the provider said he would do was completed.  The provider also included some new items to do that were not figured in initially.  The provider and his crew were very professional and friendly   The only problem we had was not a fault of the provider, but with a supplier in not getting the correct material the first time and then a lengthy delay till the product arrived.

Three men arrived approximately 9:00  am.   Started working immediately.  Prepared the floor underneath with something that smoothed out imperfections and waited till that dried.  Put down the new flooring, nailed thin strip of wood back, put back appliances and table.  The flooring was cut very professionally.  It is very neat.  Cleaning the surface is very easy.  I have pets and that is a plus.  They were all done about 2:20 pm.

    ALLEN KEITH CONSTRUCTION CO
Fair.  The work Allen Keith did was great.  They subcontracted the kitchen countertop & that company installed it incorrectly (they cut too much off the counter to fit around a corner).  Allen Keith did a good job correcting the problem.  Their painter did a pretty fair job on most of the painting but couldn't seem to properly cover some of the areas of the bathroom.  I had to correct him & he had to come back 4 times.  I finally got disgusted & finished it myself.  In the middle of March, their time estimate on this job was 4-6 weeks.  The job was just completed on Sept. 23.  There were times when I waited up to 2 weeks with nothing being done & no emails or phone calls to explain why.  We were finally down to having only the bathroom mirror to install & for some reason, it took 2 months to do that.  Delivery time from manufacturer to the store was only 1 week.
I think I would call them again to have further work done.  They do good work & their crew is very nice & respectful.  Their estimate on this job was $11,000.00 & we gave them $3,000.00 to start.  We don't have a final bill yet so we'll see if they knock any off for all the mistakes that were made & the extended time it took.
If my husband & I had had no remodeling experience of our own, this job would have been much more difficult.

    CERTIFIED FLOORING INSTLTN INC
Installation through a Home Depot Pergo XP flooring purchase. Due to the amount of flooring and quarter round to be installed it was a day and a half job. They worked with our schedule to install when it was convenient for us. They called beforehand to make sure we knew what to do to get ready. We chose to remove the old carpet to make it less costly. Both installers were professional and did a great job. I am so glad we left it to them. They did everything to save on leftover scrap material. We even got to return excess materials. They worked well together and it was much less stressful than I anticipated. I would definitely utilize their services again and I am picky!

    ONE STOP FLOORING
The hardwood flooring went nice as well as the kitchen ceramic tile. In fact, for the money it seemed to go well. My wife and I then asked if they would put ceramic tile down in the upstairs bathroom. It was agreed. Two men were sent to put down the tile in the bathroom, A.J. and John. A.J. kept receiving phone calls repeatedly and subsequently left shortly. John was left to set the tile. A.J. then received phone calls during his work. As a result, the tile was set on an angle instead of straight. The length of the bathroom was 7 feet and the tile angle was off by more than an inch. This is very noticeable and distracts from the appearance of the bathroom. I have tried several times to have the situation filed, I have offered to pay for any additional supplies, tile, mortar, etc. I have also offered to pay $200.00 to offset the additional labor costs. The cost for just the upstairs bathroom was $340.00. I understand mistakes can happen, but after several contacts, and promises, the work still has not been done, and none of my phone calls have been answered. The last comment when I phoned, was "Oh, I thought John was to do it today- I'll check with Conrad and let you know". I did not receive a call back, my wife is still upset with me, and the bathroom still needs to be fixed.

They have very competitive pricing and very reliable installation.  They give excellent results.  Their pricing particularly stands out.  I bought plenty of products from them.
