    The person who booked the appointment was very professional and courteous. The person who came to my house to give me an "estimate", not so much. First of all, he called 3 hours prior to the appointment and wanted me to explain the issue to him over the phone and possibly send him pictures of the problem areas. I didn't really see the point of this if we had a scheduled appointment later in the day. He told me he thought we could take care of it over the phone, and told me what the issue and resolution would most likely be, including a cost of about $800 (not sure how you can do this without seeing the extent of the problem, but okay.) He said it as if the price was going to make me cancel the appoiontment. I told him that I was not professional in this area but wanted it assessed and resolved. When I asked if he was still coming for the appointment, he said he would. He arrived on time (early) for the appointment and was certainly not friendly. He didn't even introduce himself to me or tell me he was with the company, although he did have a logo on his shirt. Within about 30 seconds of seeing the area, he told me what he thought the problem was and what it would cost to fix it. He grumbled repeatedly about how his secretary told him that the patio was at the bottom of a hill (guess we had a miscommunication, as it's clearly behind the house at the top of a hill) and he didn't know why he came out for this. If he had known what the situation was, he could have just talked to me over the phone. I said I wouldn't have ever agreed to go forward with such a big job (to me, at least) over the phone, sight unseen. To that he replied that he would have looked at it in person before starting the job. He just would have saved himself a 50 mile trip. He's right. Round trip, it's about 50 miles, but I'm guessing not all of their customers are right down the street! How is the distance to provide the estimate my fault?? I wasn't thrilled by this point, but I reluctantly asked if I could have an estimate in writing because I was going to get a second opinion for the job. He told me he doesn't "do estimates". He could write up a contract for me. I told him that I wouldn't be going forward with a contract and thanked him for his time. While he wasn't thrilled about the distance, what really wasted his time was his attitude. It couldn't have been more clear that he didn't want my business. I've since contacted another company, and am already impressed with their extreme professionalism. Looks like I dodged a bullet.

    The sales rep was pleasant, personable and gave me his recommendations on both the quality of door and the style. The installer arrived on time, was pleasant and personable (and helped get my dog back in the yard!) and got the work done per schedule. The keypad and remotes were programmed and ready to go. The door looks good and works well.

    Best experience ever.  Crew was extremely professional, friendly and answer all my questions each day that I would check out the work.  Knowledge of the work to be done was top notch.  No damage to property, but a couple little repairs to be done as a result of the work (leaking p trap pipe on laundry room sink and outside faucet handle).  Crew took care of minor repairs.   Had rain a couple days which resulted in a lot of mud, driveway was cleaned to remove as much as possible.  The experience almost makes me wish I had another house in need of repair so I could call Jack Boiman Sons & Daughters.  Although this was a big ticket item, the work needed to be done and I have a peace of mind.  Can't wait for rainy days and a dry basement!!!!

    They did an excellent job and it looks amazing.  The quality is great.  They really make sure that the structure reinforced, stable and it was customized specifially to our needs.  They really make an effort to have it be functional and aesthetically pleasing.  Absolute pleasure to work with and really went out their way to make sure we were completely satisfied with the finished product.  I would and have highly recommended him.

    Business must be pretty good since Mr. Bryant won't entertain an estimate in Harrison. 
    He wished me luck with someone more "local".  I explained that I choose my contractors from Angie's List, not based on geography.  I'll gladly give the business to the provider I contacted from Dayton.

    Contracted on the 15th of may.  Gave half the payment 2500.00.  Steve told me to drain my pool on 5/18 and he would be out on Sunday to start work.  He never showed.  Called him on Monday he said they would be out later that day... 3 guys showed up in a ladders...had to borrow mine.  They worked maybe 3 hours removed some tile.  Steve said he would be ready to tile on Tuesday 5/21 ...he then informed the tile was not in....they finally showed up on Thursday , 5/23 did some more tile removal and started placing tile.... Worked about 5 hours....they did not call or show up Friday thru Monday 5/24-5/27 even though he said he would be back those days to complete job....several times when I called him he would not answer or lie and say he was on his way out and never show....they came out on tuesday the 28th ....placed more tile......Wednesday the 29th several of the new tiles fell off!  Thursday the 30 th they came out had to redo several of the new tiles....also they did not have a grinder so I had to buy one at Home Depot for 100.00... They had to rent a chipping hammer....Friday the 31st  they came out  and did a little more work....went to dinner said they would be back...never came back...never called  and as of June 3 still have not heard from them.....  Steve told me this job should take two maybe three days to complete.... My pool was empty for three a family we cleaned the mess at bottom of  pool from all the debris they left behind....two garbage cans full....the tile work is still not complete and he has run out of tile twice now....the actually workmanship is horrible....the worst thing is that I told this guy my son has a graduation party scheduled for June 2 nd and he said no the deadline came closer he told I should reschedule the party!  We had over 50 people here many from out of town and that was his answer....I have filed a complaint with the attorney general...BBB ....Angie's list.....yelp .....and merchants circle........this company is the opposite of professional ......stay clear of this company!!!!!

    He was mid range in the estimates. He showed up on time and seemed professional with 35 years of experience, in which he claimed. The equipment he used was nice and performed the service efficiently. The project went well until the conclusion. He seemed to have a condescending attitude towards the end of the project and that my three concerns over the project were petty. He mentioned, "Needed time to have an ideal rainfall and would be back to make corrections, if any needed". Two and a half months later and a letter to the contractor on October 14th, I did not receieve a response.

    My letter summarized: "what he would correct with new driveway, what was not corrected or made worse, and mishandling of drainage to connecting lower lot"

    On 11/15/11, I complained to Cincinnati BBB. On 12/5/11 Mr. Hendy showed up in rainfall to evaluate complaints 1-5. He stated he knew exactly what I needed. He would return at the beginning of the 2012 "driveway working season" to correct issues, because it could not be corrected until then.

    The 2012 driveway season started about 4/15/2012. As of 6/20/12, there has been no follow up from the contractor. The resolution would be to correct concerns 1-5, either by him or third party.

    I called at 11am. Work was completed at 4pm, same day. I had a broken spring on my double garage door. Both springs were replaced quickly and efficiently. There was no problem with the other door but since the spring was 18 years old I decided to have it changed now rather than later. This was totally my decision, there was NO pressure at all to have this done. Very satisfied!
