    I was a patient there. Their inexperienced biller person 4 years ago messed up my billing. They didn't tell me right away that I wasn't being covered by my insurance because I went over the number of visits allocated for
    the year. I explained they had to resubmit with a medical reason for them to go over the limit. I had done this at other places many times over the years. I always was approved. Well they didn't tell me until I ran up a bill for $2000.
    I called and talked to them about this. I said I would come back, I want to be seen now that I am pregnant. I explained my circumstance that there was a balance years ago would they take me back because I am still not paying for their mistake.
    They said yes I could come back. I made an appointment for almost 2 weeks later. I filled out the half hour of paperwork. I
    got a babysitter and waited 2 weeks to be seen. I get there, wait for 20
    minutes, and they say oh no you can't be seen unless you pay off your balance.
    I explained how I talked to the person there. and even then they wouldn't see me unless I paid there overdue balance that they already sent to collections and wrote off. thank you for wasteing 2 weeks at the end of my pregnancy and then not seeing me!
    I thought they believed in customer service and helping people. Did I mention the billing problem was their employee's fault!

    Heather gave me my massage. She's awesome! Heather asks about what areas need to be worked on and concentrates on those areas exclusively. I've had many massages and she's definitely the best. Also, my husband has had severe neck pain for over a year. After several visits with Dr. Uhl he has absolutely no pain in his neck. I wholeheartedly refer family and friends to Dr. Uhl's group!

    Dr. Jones is one of the nicest people you will ever meet in your life. He is so friendly and very concerned about helping you. He doesn't push anything. He is unlike some of the other chiropractic I have been to- they constantly want to sign you up for a series of treatments and all that kind of stuff. Dr. Jones doesn't push anything like that on you. He will explain to you when he thinks you should come back but he doesn't try to sell you on something big like, 'Pay paying me in advance for 36 visits, at the end you will be a new man.' or something like that like my previous chiropractors.

    I purchased a coupon from a deal site for a massage.  My therapist (Kylie) was very friendly and knowledgeable. This is more of a targeted therapy massage more than a relaxation massage, which is what I wanted.  Kylie asked what was bothering me (my upper back) and focused all her time working that area.  I could tell a definite difference in mobility when I was done and I felt a lot better.  I liked the service so much I went back for a second session a few months later with the same therapist.  I definitely plan on continuing to book massages here.  The office staff is friendly and it's not difficult to get an appointment.  Most of the appointments are during regular office hours, so if you work a 9-5 you will probably have to leave work early.
    The staff is very willing to look into the possibility of using insurance to cover massages.  It is not an option for me, but the normal pricing is reasonable and they run occasional specials.  They are also not pushy about the chiropractic side but are very willing to answer questions.  I once got a massage at a different chiropractic office and felt like I was getting a chiropractic sales pitch when I just wanted a massage.  
    Overall, I was very pleased with my experience and plan to continue to use Dr. Uhl's office in the future.

    West Chester Acupuncture and Chiropractic

    I have been going to Chiropractors regularly since 1980 so, have a good feel for the doctor's ability to really help or not.  For this back injury, I have visited 5 times within a 16 day period.  I have received little improvement in pain level during this time.  Here are the problems I have: 

    Dr. Young is not a good communicator (at least with me).  I tell him what I am experiencing and what I believe is the problem and I don't really receive much of a response.  He seems to be doing the same type of adjustment each time, whether it is working or not.  Logically, I would assume, based on my feedback, he would refine the adjustments (adding, subtracting, or trying something more effective).  The last 3 visits, I have felt worse after the adjustment.  Since I can't get the care I need, I am going to find another Chiropractor.

    I feel like a piece of meat on an assembly line.  Although they are good about keeping appointment times (minimal waits), I am constantly being rushed to get on the Electro-Stem and adjustment tables.  I don't even have time to get my things back in my pockets, put my shoes and belt back on before being rushed out of the room.  I end up having to basically get redressed back in the waiting room.  I also don't get my questions answered to my satisfaction.

    The Electro-Stem is a bad experience for me.  The table is uncomfortable for me, the tables are located in a noisy part of the office (loud footsteps and loud patients walking by, making it additionally difficult to relax), and the Electro-Stem pad gel is so cold it causes me to violently jerk when it contacts my skin.  I have mentioned this problem to Marlow and Dr. Young, and even located a warmer they could use but, no one seems interested.

    And finally, accessing the parking lot is difficult.  You have to cross a railroad track that violently jars your back (no matter how slow you go) and there is not enough parking space.  Of the space that is available, it is laid out with the assumption you are driving a compact car (trying to park a full sized pickup truck can be tedious).
