    We called American Air at 9 am and had a scheduled appointment between noon and 5 pm the same day. Fifteen minutes later they called back and said there was a cancellation and could be here in 45 minutes. Tom arrived promptly and was very courteous and professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly, went to get the parts and the AC was back on and running properly by 11 am. Tom was friendly and knowledgeable and took good care of us. Would definitely use American Air and Tom again.

    They came out to check our heat pump and was told there was a leak in one of the lines and we were out of refrigerant. Tech told us that the leak could not be repaired and that we would need to get a new unit. He told us no company could repair it. He tried to get us to agree to have a salesperson come out the next day. We called another company and the had the leak repaired and back up and running in about an hour, for only a few hundred dollars.

    They were very professional, used drop cloths on carpet. It took them 2 days to finish the job, which is not a complaint, due to the quality and detail of the install. They put in a new humidifier, new WiFi thermostat, ran ductwork to a new register in corner of kitchen that had issues with temperature, installed dampers in duct work, PVC piping for 90+ furnace, installed nice outside covering for (down the side of the house) new A/C line set, new outside disconnect with fuses for A/C. They cleaned up any messes as they went. Had the air conditioning up and running before they left. This was a complete Carrier brand installation, with warranties.

    On December 31, 2017, I hired Fro Pro Services to install a Lennox EL2906090UHXV36C furnace in my home. Additionally, we purchased an air conditioner and humidifier. There are numerous problems I���ve encountered with this company-service was not performed correctly, product not working properly, and very unprofessional. Frog Pro has a 100% satisfaction guarantee, but will not honor it. First, it was discovered that the company was operating in Grove City without being a registered business and Frog Pro didn���t pull a permit to perform the install which is required. It took three weeks for Frog Pro to pull a permit, however the job failed inspection on Jan. 29, 2018. In a follow up email, Frog Pro stated, ���Grove City Inspector confirmed it was ���proper��� which was not the case as indicated in the report. See photo. In addition, I was overcharged $400 after a good faith check was cashed a month later. Frog Pro refuses to refund my money and claims it���s for an upgraded evaporator coil. The company also refused to provide an invoice until February and even then, I still don���t have an invoice for the AC unit. Most importantly, the furnace is undersized as the blower capacity is 3 ton which won���t support the 3.5 ton AC unit Frog Pro installed. Without the proper size furnace, the AC won���t perform as it should. Frog Pro did not disclose that I was buying an open box product with no owner manuals that was 15 months old. The Lennox furnace installed was manufactured in Sept. 2015. The air conditioning unit arrived with no name badging on it and has visual damage. The photos below show how Frog Pro installed the AC. After several complaints about the exposed wires and poor workmanship, the company finally returned returned to protect the wires and the hole into the house. The job should never have been left in that condition to begin with. Besides an undersized system, the furnace has never worked properly since the day of complete install on all products-Jan.4, 2018. Frog Pro was called out to repair the furnace 3 times after this date and I still have limited air flow and the furnace won���t kick into the second stage. My electric bill has increased. Frog Pro wants to blame the error codes on the furnace as owner operator error. I have been operating a furnace for over 30 years and never had an issue with a furnace until Frog Pro installed this system. The service manager is unprofessional and has blamed me, the customer for everything. He���s accused me of lying, harassing, and being deceitful. All I have ever wanted was a furnace that worked properly and a permit that passes inspection. This shouldn���t be too difficult to ask for. I have no idea what I did to be treated as poorly as I have been treated from this company. Frog Pro refused to pull an electric permit and get a licensed electrician to complete the work needed for the air conditioner for 2 1/2 months. We are still waiting for proof of the electrical permit and confirmation of electrician to have them come out for service. I have been in contact with the owner/the person who holds the HVAC license with the state of Ohio. I invited Joe out to the property to see first hand the issues and he refused. I have asked numerous times for my phone calls to be returned so we can schedule an appointment. Emailing the company ends up to be pointless because they are not willing to resolve the issue, however an email from February states ���We have no problem fulfilling our end of this agreement from a warranty and service provider standpoint.��� Unfortunately, as if this date, the furnace issue remains unresolved. To resolve the problem, the proper furnace needs to be installed. A better option, given the length of time we have been disputing their workmanship, would be to remove all products from the property and refund the full amount that I paid ($7100 financed and $400 check cashed). Shawn, the service manager, offered to remove the products for free, then a few days later wanted to charge over $1500 to remove everything. This is absurd and the cost was never disclosed of in any of there policies. Buyers���s beware, this company has several similar complaints to BBB, Angie���s list, online reviews, and the attorney general. Make sure you have a permit, a sales invoice, and verify the products by checking serial numbers. If Frog Pro Services did the job correctly by installing the product properly from the beginning and if they would have installed the correct size furnace for our home, we wouldn���t be having a dispute. I relied on their professional knowledge and was taken advantage of.
