Air Duct Cleaning reviews in Grove City

The gentleman from Air Duct Busters arrived in the designated time and quickly did a walk through of my house to location all vents. He explained everything from what he was going to do and estimate of price. He worked quickly and answered all of my questions. He was an excellent representative for his company. Very kind, informative and worked quickly to get the job done. We discovered that the vents had never been cleaned out before and there was a lot of dry wall dust and debris in the vents. The dryer vent has birds' nests clogging it and he said that this was really a fire hazard. I would most diffidently use this service again.

John and his assistant named John also, not only on time, but called ahead to see if they could come sooner. Very professional men, polite to me, my kids and wife. I appreciated that. He shared what they were doing as I watched and helped me understand the process. Never had this service performed before nor any friends or family I asked had it done either. I am now a witness to it and can say it is worth being done and call these guys. They will do a great job for ya!

Horrible. Original price was $129.00 and I ended up paying $518.00. Total "bait and hook" scam. Very disappointed in the contractor and Angie's List for obviously misleading consumers that are not familiar with this particular industries terminology and rely on them for guidance in these matters.

They cleaned the air ducts........Had additional work completed (furnace, A/C and main vents) as well. We were not aware of these not being included in the $199 deal until they arrived and explained so. They were A LOT more money but seemed to be a waste of time to clean the air ducts and not the main units?!

Tony came to our house to clean and sanitize our air ducts and vents. Upon arrival he also was able to clean and sanitize the furnace that had collected decades of dust, hair, and debris. He was personable and answered any and all questions that I had for him. The full service was a bit expensive but it needed to be done and having someone like Tony to answer questions and perform the service on the spot was excellent.

It was good, because of my ignorance, I thought I was giving the whole house all the ducts, return lines, and everything done. They came in, it was just like, this is what I do and this is what I don't do, and this is going to cost you. Which I didn't appreciate, but at the same time, I'm sure it was due to my ignorance, but that's the term on, I put a price down there to get them in the door, and they do it, and for his job, I think he did a good job and everything but I just felt a little bit ignorant. It ended up costing me more than double from what I've actually signed up for, and I'm not sure it was worth it, I just don't know.

I called the company after receiving a Valpak mailer advertising a $38.95 whole house cleaning.  We originally scheduled for the following week, but the company called back minutes later to say they had a "supervisor" in the area and would I like to have the cleaning done that afternoon.  I originally declined citing afternoon plans, but they reassured me the supervisor could come quickly.  The supervisor arrived on time with his "trainee" who began working immediately.  They cut access panels and brought all their equipment in before an estimate was provided, nearly one hour after their arrival.  There were no unit prices listed on the estimate page - all prices were written in by hand.  The original estimate included services far beyond simple air duct cleaning including a UV lighting system and sanitizer which totaled $2131.82.  I declined all services beyond the above mentioned, explaining that this was already much more than I expected to spend based on the advertised mailer price.  Approximately 2 hours into the job, my living room filled with a mushroom cloud of dust.  My children were sitting on the sofa watching television and began to scream and run because they thought our house was on fire.  I ran to the basement to inform the "supervisor" of the issue.  He came upstairs and promptly replied, "that's not supposed to happen."  He offered no way to correct the problem/remove the dust, and went back to work saying "we can help you clean that up later."  I was left breathing in clouds of dust, shooing away my children to prevent them from inhaling the dust while I opened doors/windows, set-up fans, vacuumed and dusted up the mess.   Neither the supervisor or his trainee made any effort to assist in the clean-up.  The supervisor later went outside on a phone call.  He came back inside saying he had talked to his boss about the cloud of dust and could offer me the "opportunity" to have my A/C coil cleaned at a discounted price of $150 (vs the original estimate price of $179.99 which I had already declined), since his trainee needed to learn how to do it.  I again declined.  I called the company a few days after this mess to express my frustration with the owner.  I was told "he was not in" and my name and number were taken.  I never received a return call.  I called again today and mentioned that I was even more frustrated with their lack of communication and planned to post a review on Angie's List if I did not receive return correspondence within 24 hours.  I was again told that the manager was not in, but "he" would be in by noon.  At 3, I received a call from a woman named Amber.  She said she has to send a supervisor out to inspect the system again to "see that it is properly cleaned."  I don't find this necessary given the fact that a supervisor was the one who cleaned the system in the first place.  I requested a partial refund to avoid wasting any more of my time.  She stated that she couldn't do anything without an inspection of the system, and that this problem was not worth $212.  Given the "half-a**" job that was performed, I feel a 50% refund is very appropriate.  However, it appears that this company has no respect for the value of their customer's time and satisfaction and does not intend to correct any mistakes unless threatened with social media exposure which will prevent them from preying on other families.

The provider was on time and got it done quickly. He was very nice and professional and took time to make sure the equipment didn't mark the walls or railings. He also explained everything beforehand. It was a little expensive, but you get what you pay for in this case. There is quite a difference in the air quality now.

They had an add in the paper for $99 that they would do so much of my house. I called them and scheduled them to come out this morning, they supposedly did the job of cleaning the ducts. He said my furnace needed more work, and he said it would cost me another $169. I asked him what was wrong with it, and he began to get upset because I wanted to know why. He got angrier and angrier with the further questions I asked him. Then he wanted $290.81 instead of the $99. Then his attitude was extremely angry because I wanted him to show me what they did - they were only here for an hour at the most. I couldn't believe they'd done every trunk line in my 2 story house. He was acting crazy when he left, and said he didn't ever want to work for me again and said I should ask someone else. He started cursing me, and calling me names. Once he left we checked the vents and they hadn't been done, but had only worked on the easy ones. I called him back, and he cussed me back and told me every single name he could think of. I'm afraid of him, he knows where I live. He's saying that's what he'll do. He doesn't have any manners - it doesn't take anything to upset him and he's gone.

I was very impressed by the companies prompt service. I found myself on a Saturday evening without a working AC and I had 50 people coming to my house on Sunday. The owner came out Sunday morning and had my AC up and running before the first guest even arrived! Certainly a life saver given how hot it is! I thought they were reasonable priced and highly professional. I would highly recommend!!!
