We had questions and were a bit indecisive when we were trying to pick our colors. Jay (owner) walked us thru several different color schemes & combinations and really helped us get to our final decision. We could not have been happier with his expertise and guidance, it really took a lot of stress out of the process. The Universal Painting crew really paid attention to all the little details when prepping the walls and baseboards. They repaired all the holes, gashes, knicks and screw pops on the walls which made all the difference. The final results are amazing! My walls literally look brand new! CInteractions with sales and office staff were prompt and excellent, and I received a detailed quote. Painting crews either showed-up without prior scheduling or were late for scheduled start times. Work done did not fully meet quoted proposal and mistakes were made. Garage was suppose to be painted in a latex satin finish paint, but got stained with the deck stain in a flat finish. Everything was suppose to get 2 coats, but some surfaces only got one coat. Painting crew did a reasonably good job at masking off and painting, but other prep work in quote (caulking gaps, scraping old paint, etc.) was not done. Painting crew clearly did not have a good understanding of scope of work that was in the written contract.

AFred is a very thorough home inspector. He took his time to inspect the house and relayed all of the information in a very detailed report. Fred went through the different sections of the home and then recapped his findings to us after each portion. He was also available for follow up phone calls to help interpret the findings in the inspection report. The cost of the inspection is higher than most, but Fred makes it worth your while. He is extremely knowledgable on many home topics.

AMy gutter were in need of cleaning and my roof is 10 years old, so I called and made an appointment for a roof inspection with gutter cleaning. Chris showed up on time for the appointment and did the roof inspection and e-mailed me pictures showing the work required on the roof, I agreed to the work and the price. The next day it was raining and they were not able to come out, but the second day was dry and they came out and performed the work. I have to assume they performed the work because I am unable to get on the roof and they did not provide after pictures to go with the before pictures from the inspection.

AMy husband and I highly recommend Kevin and his team. We are new, first-time homeowners and were nervous to hire a contractor to assist with a major project in our master bedroom and attached sun room. Our walls were a mess after we'd taken down the wallpaper ourselves and removed decorative beams that left huge holes in our walls. Kevin's team fixed the holes, made our walls looks perfectly smooth, created new trim to match the original, and did a fantastic job painting both rooms. They were friendly and easy to work with, responsive, and did meticulous work. Kevin will be the first person we call for our next project!
