Awesome. Could not be better. Referred by friend on Thursday. Called Friday, Site assessment and quote Saturday. Area prep, forms laid Tuesday. Concrete poured Friday. Finish Work Saturday. 8 days from first contact until work completion. Prompt, great communication, and reasonable pricing. The quality of work is second to none. He has two Tony's on his staff that have a real artistry and pride in their work quality. Old school company. Awesome. Highly, highly recommended. Will be using them again soon for further projects.

    Rocscape Landscaping
Rocscape Landscaping did a terrible job. Service was unreliable and when they did come, they caused considerable damage to my property. They seemed to be unable to stay on the driveway. They failed to mark the driveway properly, using too few markers that they repeatedly knocked over (and I reset). I purchased 6 additional markers to help them, but it made no difference. They got too close to the garage door and created 2" deep gash. Lawn on both sides of the drive is heavily damaged by their tire tracks. They went well beyond the end of the driveway onto the lawn, pushing mud up against a picket fence gate. When backing up, they pushed a 100 pound stone in a flower bed about 8 feet, plowing up dormant perennials. I finally made contact with the owner near the end of the season and asked him to come out to move the large stone back in place (and to show him the gash on the garage door), and he said he would call by the end of the week, but never did demonstrating a complete lack of professionalism and accountability.

We had a Snowplow contract, He hardly showed up and when he did, it was 3pm after we had already shoveled our own way out of the driveway. We had to call him several times and beg him to show up, he always used the excuse of "I've been up plowing since 5am and I will get there when I can." This was very unprofessional, if he was too busy, he should not have accepted our contract.

    Sweethaven Garage & Door
The serviceman was courteous and knowledgeable about the equipment he was replacing and installing.  He gave me clear options and all the facts I needed to choose a course of action that met our needs.  Though everything was functioning properly when the installation was completed, a glitch in operation occurred within the first few hours afterward.  I called the office and, though it was late in the afternoon, they very quickly arranged a follow-up visit by the technician the very next day.  He diagnosed the problem (apparently a broken wire) and repaired the opener system so that everything has operated flawlessly since then.  I am very happy with the new opener and have seriously considered replacing the remaining older opener as well.

After researching all the alternatives it was clear that Garage Finisher was the best option for a lasting maintenance free floor, and the only option that was totally turn-key. Mario and the crew fully understand customer service and have their operation set up to do it all for you.
The crew showed up exactly as scheduled and immediately cleared everything out of the garage using storage bins and a trailer.  They were extremely careful with everything and it was all protected from the weather during the installation.  After the job was completed everything was returned to exactly where it had been since they were thoughtful enough to take pictures initially before anything was moved. We never had to lift a finger.
The floor preparation process is critical for obtaining a durable coating that won?t come up on you after time.  This is a time consuming step, they took no shortcuts and were very thorough.
Next they were so skillful in applying the five layers that make up the floor.  It was quite interesting to watch this process and comforting to see that they have it down to a science, both materials and process.
Then the cabinets were installed.  Here again the crew was meticulous in getting everything perfect.  It was such a pleasure to see the effort as if they were doing their own homes.
To a man the crew is friendly, conscientious, and extremely professional.  They?re in a different league from what you?re often faced with for this type of work.
Mario spent a lot of time up front discussing the technology, process and options to ensure that our needs would be met. Everything went exactly as promised and we couldn?t be happier.  This is definitely the company to work with for transforming your garage.  Ask a lot of questions if you?re considering any of the alternatives as they all have issues.

    Cemex Construction

Contacted John Bruno on Thursday morning on behalf of a national company that I am contracted to perform maintenance on their retail locations. He was asked to grind down the front pad to permit the front door to open, and provide a quote to perform permanent repairs when weather permits.

He was very helpful over the phone, and followed up very well prior to his crew's arrival.  All was looking good. His crew showed up two hours prior to the store opening (Good !!) to perform the work.

One error occurred. The slab that was being ground was in front of double glass doors. No preparation was done on the doors (taping off) to prevent the dust created by the grinding from entering the store.

What followed was one miscommunication after another. The situation escalated to a national level, but nobody seemed to communicate this issue to me or John in a manner where immediate correction could take place, resulting in the store closing for the day for cleaning.

Upon discussing the issue with John the next day, we both agreed that this could have been addressed much quicker had the store let us know directly.  The issue has been resolved and outside "on scene" communication between his staff and the stores, the job itself was done quickly and professionally.  John and I agreed that not all jobs go perfect and we both will take this experience as a learning that will allow both of us to enhance our customer service in the future.

    Sweethaven Garage & Door
The owner didn't try to sell me any upgraded styles although they were available. The secretary at the Sweethaven office told me you could go online to Clopay and see the doors on your own house if you take a photo of your house so I did this.  I looked through the Clopay garage door book and decided to call him and switched to doors with windows. They were perfect and add to the look of our house!

Moss removal and sealcoating was fine from this company. This company did not stick to the timeline provided, did not call to update on changes (just wouldn't show up), and provided awful customer service.
They committed to finishing the job on a Thursday and I was told it would be a 1 day job - moss removal in morning and sealcoating in afternoon. This was important since I planned to be out of town and we have a very long driveway making it difficult to get in and out of the house if it's not accessible. I emphasized this importance to them and they told me it would not be a problem.
They didn't show up by noon on Thur. which prompted me to call. They now can't come until Saturday. I said it wouldn't be possible for us to have the driveway done since they missed the original start date. Todd insisted that it would not be a problem and that they could get it done in time for it to be dry within the window they originally promised (by noon on Sunday) and would come on Friday.
Friday passes by and I call again because the driveway has still not been sealcoated. They promise they'll have it done by 9pm that night. Saturday morning and they still have not come. I call the main co. line and talk with Samantha. She says they're at our house and can do it right now. I ask her if it will be dry by noon on Sunday and she says absolutely. I tell her that I do not want it done if it won't be dry by noon on Sunday. She promises it will be dry in time for me to come home. The go ahead with the job. I call again later in the afternoon to confirm the job is completed and talk with Todd. He now tells me that I can't drive on it until Monday. When I complain about the scheduling mishaps, he tells me he's not God and can't control the weather (it was sunny all week, so not sure what he means by this). He could have however started the day they had committed to starting, which was Thursday, not Saturday.
They were incredibly condescending and in no way felt they had done anything wrong when discussing the problems they had caused by adjusting the schedule to suit themselves.

The driveway is beautiful! We worked closely with Jeff Lawrence, the owner. They were very pleasant to work with and did a nice job. They were punctual and cleaned up very well after themselves. They replanted grass where they had to dig it up and replaced the stone in our beds as well. They did a very nice job!

    Precision Overhead Garage Door
After replacing the rollers, the door performed worse than the door did before they replaced the rollers

They refused to come back out- they stated that they performed the work according to the Big Deal and that was all they were going to do.
