  • The leveling is okay; however, the mud product broke through the sill between the house and basement and blew out the dry wall in my basement Obviously, there was too much pressure applied. Randy Greene, the obnoxious owner, refused to pay for the $300.00 dry wall repair and charged my credit account without my permission. I would run, not walk, from this company.

  • Great company to work with, responsive, responsible, and timely.
They touched nearly every room in the house, doing extensive mold remediation in the basement.
They redid all the drywall and refinished walls to prepare the house for sale.
They were very flexible with all of my requested add on projects.
All of this work was done while I lived on the other side of the State, they sent pictures at every step of the project to keep me informed.  Michael was quick to respond and always willing to offer alternatives and suggestions!  Would rehire.

  • We listened to what they said. We have been working on it ourselves since then and we have succeeded. I am sure that what they proposed would have solved some things but I think that there were other issues that we have addressed. They were not completely accurate. They suggested what they could do but we did other things too. When you have foundations, you have other areas that you can look at like downspouts and stuff like that and that was not what their area of expertise was. We started by doing the obvious things and it has helped so I do not think that we are going to need their service after all and they were suggesting things that cost a whole lot more than $49. We were out of town after we purchased the deal so it was not until March or April that they did the inspection but that was our fault and not theirs. We were in Florida during that time and also you do not do inspections during the winter so we had to wait until the spring. I did not meet them but my husband did and I think that he respected them enough. He was fine with them. We would call them again if we felt that we needed the digging of the foundation. I think that he would definitely consider them. They did what they were asked to do and what we felt that they were going to do.

  • I hired Nick and his crew to work on a 90 year old historic
home in Gates Mills that my brother and I were rehabbing to put on the
market.  The basement of the house had excessive moisture problems along
with mold.  I got estimates from 4 total highly rated companies on Angie's
list. The other three told me that I had no option other than excavating the
entire basement including an ornate sand stone porch that borders one side of
the house and sits on a 10 foot cement base.  The estimated cost was
$45,000 and they offered me no alternatives.  I hired one of the other
companies to jet sewer the down spouts to the gutters and snake the window well
drains.  They worked for about two hours clearing the downspouts and then
told me that all of my drains were clogged and would need to be
    excavated.
The total cost was prohibitively high for us since we had inherited the house
and were working with limited funds for the rehab.  When Nick arrived I
was somewhat discouraged however he was able to work with me to offer a
reasonable alternative for less than half the price which involved excavated
the more accessible walls to the foundation replacing the footer drains,
waterproofing the walls and back filling with gravel.  Snaking all the
window well drains (which after 3 hours of work his crew was able clear) and
jetting the footer drains from the exposed sides.  He then filled in the
holes in the sand stone porch (which were intending for plantings and served as
the major source of water problems on that side of the house.) He told that
although he could not guarantee that side of the house he felt the work would
solve 90+% of my problem.  I am happy to report over a year later
including a very wet spring and fall the basement is still dry.
His crew was very professional and hard working.  When they were done they
completely leveled that ground so all I had to do was replant the grass (this
was a big deal to me after I had spent nearly 5K landscaping to fix the mess
the company that replaced the septic system left.)  The work they did on
the sand stone porch was as good as that I had done by a mason.  When Nick
came back to inspect the final job and get his payment the furnace to the house
had broken due to an electrical problem caused by the septic company.
Nick fixed the wiring on the furnace to get it going again and did not charge
    me anything for this.
This was the best experience I had with over a dozen contractors I hired to
work on this house.   Rather than take advantage of me (I'm a woman
in my early 30's and trust me many of the people I hired took one look at me an
raised their estimates) Nick really tried to understand my problem and develop
a workable solution for me that was within the constraints on my budget.
I am forever grateful and would use them again in a heartbeat!

  • Service completed as contracted. It took approximately a week. Yard was left as though they had never been here. Grass was protected with plywood from the trucks and equipment. They racked the grass back up each day. They restored the landscaping and put mulch down on the beds. They had to work around road construction on our street and did so without complaint. Everyone we met was very professional. We would highly recommend them.

  • Terry chubb from Chubb Construction Inc. is extremely knowledgeable and very fair with quote. Dan the foreman and his crew were very professional, hard working and very neat. I was very pleased with all aspects of the project from start to finish.

  • The Beard Group was very accommodating as they started cutting each and every tile...800 square feet of tile. Further, they took great care in ensuring each tile was placed in such a fashion to extend trends and patterns in the tile which was installed in a stacked pattern. The grout lines are perfect, with your eye extending down the straight lines. Like any project, this one came with a few challenges. The Beard Group was attentive to our needs after the project was complete to ensure we were completely satisfied. We were very appreciative, and plan on utilizing their services in the future. The Beard Group has been performing services for us over the last five years. We value their professionalism, expertise and attentive service.

  • Colin was extremely nice to work with and did an excellent job. We had an emergency situation just days before Thanksgiving and he did everything he could to help us. Within a few days he started the job and completed the work in just a couple of days.

  • B-Dry was very responsive to getting to the house and provide an assessment. They were also helpful in communicating their results to the prospective buyer. While we didn't use them for service, I get the feeling they would do a good, professional job.

  • The work was performed exactly as promised. The job turned out to be much larger than we initially anticipated, but Mario kept us informed throughout the process. I would definitely recommend this contractor
