    The technician (Pat) was very professional and efficient in taking care of the problem which turned out to be a blocked drain. He cleaned it and cleaned the condenser coils as well. Educated me regarding periodic maintenance; maintenance I can do as well as what I need to call them for. I was very appreciative information.

    They treated me like a complete ignoramus from the time they entered my home 4 hours late. The old man was rude and smelled of something unmentionable. The young boy claimed he was an expert but obviously knew nothing about high end appliances. The stared at my refrigerator for 20 min bantering about what could be wrong. When I began to question them and offer looking up the manual online, the old one became disrespectful and relied " mam, you can knock yourself out but clearly I'm the expert" my husband then told him to watch his tone as he was in our home. After some more flash light diagnostics under my refrigerator, I again asked them what they thought. The young one then said, "if we knew we would fix it". i told him this did not need to be an argument. I then said they should leave as clearly they were not going to fix the problem nor did they have the skill in my opinion. The young one run out of my home saying nasty things and the old one was telling my husband I had an attitude and I could fix it myself. I never once said anything disrespectful to them but did not want to deal with such poor customer service after waiting over 4 hours because they were late. They did not pull my fridge out but only took the bottom off. They also did not wear boot covers. By far this was the worst experience I ever had with any service professional in my home, ever... These guys are clearly in need of further customer service training. Clearly, I'm not the only one who feels this way based on other reviews. Last, they left the bottom of my fridge open and made a complete mess on my wood floor. Who ever owns this company needs to reorganize and better train their rogue workers. Very sad. I ultimately used another company that was wonderful and fixed the problem in a half hour.

    Elmers Appliance Service
    The dryer repair that Elmers's was hired to do was only partially completed. John at Elmer's replaced the heating element that was bad but failed to fix the problem the caused the element to go out in the first place There was a simple clog in the dryer vent line. But John told me that I should replace the entire vent tube and all that was really needed was to remove the out door vent door and clean out. This is what I hired Elmer's to do and they took the easy way out and replace the part and ran away. What ever happen to someone to finishing the job. I would not hire Elmer's again.

    I've known him for 7 or 8 years and he does a lot of odd jobs. As I got more comfortable with him, I've given him access to my house (including bedrooms). I observed him opening up my jewelry box and safe, and at the time I didn't think anything of it (although I should have). I had a valuable coin (heirloom), and it is now missing from my bedroom. It disappeared shortly after he did some work for me, and there is absolutely no one else that comes into my house. He denied it, but you could tell by his body language that he was lying. He proceeded to ask me how much the coin was worth. I have filed a police report at this time, and my purpose of this report is to be sure you don't make the same mistake I did by letting this man into my house. REBUTTAL TO SERVICE PROVIDER RESPONSE: (9/7/10) He had the run of my house because he had possession of my garage door opener. He would come and leave when he pleased. He is not a friend of mine. I saw him in my jewelry box as well as my safe and I believe he took my air loom coin which was inside the jewelry box. The work he did for me was fair, not the greatest. I do not owe him 60 dollars. I could not have called him to tell him it was the wrong account because I only have one account. He was a handyman who had become familiar with me and the house. I am a senior citizen who has been taken advantage of. THE COIN WAS NOT MISPLACED. IT WAS MISSING AFTER HE LEFT THE HOUSE.

    On a Sunday, my refrigerator suddenly went warm. I called Complete Appliance and they scheduled a service call for the following day at my convenience. The service person found that the freezer door had been attached improperly when it was installed and ice build-up in the freezer was affecting the refrigerator compartment. He was very helpful and professional.

    It took two visits to fix the problem and it was very expensive. The movers had forgotten to bolt the washer and dryer to their pedestals, so over time the appliances moved. They ordered the bolts (over $30!) and then charged for travel time (around $85!) and analysis (over $65!) - all just for 4 bolts. Unfortunately, the repair needed to be done and I would have had to pay $85 just for the visit. It took a week to schedule. Also, I hired this company because they said that they had expertise with Whirlpool Duets, but when the repair man came to the house, he spent a lot of time on his cell phone asking someone else questions about the machine. I was disappointed and called the manager, who was responsive and professional.

    WOLF'S RESPONSE WAS EXCELLENT. WHEN HE HEARED WE WERE ANGIE'S LIST MEMBERS HE WAS HERE WITHIN A COUPLE OF HOURS ON THE DAY WE CALLED. HE FIXED THE PROBLEM, CHECKED THE ICE MAKER AND WAS HONEST ABOUT TELLING US THAT IT WAS WORKING FINE.
