Empire General Contracting of Texas, LLC
I am an out of town owner. Carlos was in contact regarding everything. He sent pictures and was always available. As with any remodeling, there were surprises and they were handeled very well and in keeping with costs in mind. When I saw the finished home, I just said "wow". A beautiful job!! Very responsive company. The few follow up issues have been handled in a timely manner. And did I mention that my condo was cleaned post construction to move in condition?

A&J Handyman & General Remodel LLC
Josh, with a&j handyman llc, is the best man for any job. We bought a new home in 2016, and searched for a contractor we felt comfortable with. My wife and I loved the ideas that Josh was able to come up with. Any changes to plans (and we had lots) were easily handled by Josh. A&J Handyman is a reliable, professional, and affordable company that I would happily recommend to anyone for any job.

A&J Handyman & General Remodel LLC
I felt completely safe leaving them in my home to complete the project when I wasn't home. This is extremely hard to find these days. They worked with my budget and helped me figure out how to cut costs if needed. They worked very fast but more importantly the work they did was exceptional. I wouldn't hire anyone else besides A&J. Very professional, half the costs as other contractors that gave me bids.

    Xact Restorations
They are very prideful with their work. Every night, they spent time to clean up each area. When the job was completed, the owner came out to actually inspect the house to confirm it was up to his standards!

    Xact Restorations
Xact Restorations gets an A+++ in my book.  They took great pride in their work, showed up in a timely matter, followed out the details of my requests in building mantel and storage area around the fireplace, and cleaned up the area each day.  We ran into a snag almost a year after the work was completed and they sent someone out to take care of it the following day, free of charge, which kept us from having to pay an electrician to do the work.  They are a "do as they say" kind of company, and I feel 100% confident with the quality of work they perform.  When we get ready to do another project, they will be the first company I call.

    Chris Sarver
Went very well. Came out beautifully. Chris came over and did the estimate. Was very polite and knowledgeable. After that we schedule the material purchase, delivery, and installation. He came approximately the time he had scheduled that morning. He was very clean and respectful of my home. He pulled the baseboards and other trim. He built out the wall to make room for the fire box. He framed in the firebox. He the dry walled most the wall. He then stoned the area directly around the unit. He also put in a beautiful mantle. He laid tile directly in front of the fireplace. He re-cut the trim and hooked up the new gas line. The logs are very nice. The heat very well are a nice center piece for my living area.

COIT Cleaning and Restoration of Lexington
I had to keep them coming back because it wasn't done. It was over a period of several weeks that they completed the job. It was over 4000 and some dollars and I thought it was outrageous. The man that worked for them, works on a commission. So, I would love to talk to other homeowners that have used them before and see if it's consistent with their pricing. We just did it because it really needed to be done. It's not regular tile, it's actually natural stone. So there is a certain process that you have to perform on natural stone versus tile. I think natural stone is probably a little more difficult. I feel like, all in all, it was an okay job. It was good, not bad, but it was good. Several different people came to do the work. They came out twice and it was not up to par. Then they sent this one guy out and he was really professional. They were all professional, as far as talking and you thought they had the knowledge of it. I feel like initially, we got off on a wrong foot. The men that they brought in, they brought them in from Louisville because they were booked up in Lexington, to do this job and I had no idea they were actually bringing someone in from Louisville. But they did come and they were very professional, very nice, but I just felt like you're paying for these great big machines, they should have done better. They could have done better. But then they brought in another guy that was from Lexington and he was really really good.

    construction finishing services
There were a few problems with what he did, and how I actually wanted it done. I asked for heated tile floors in the Master Bath, and I believe he forgot. I also wanted a very large mirror to go behind the beautiful, crystal sconces and he talked me into a small oval mirror. Not satisfied with that at all. I asked him several times to put the big mirror up, but never got done.He was a very nice person and very professional. Other than my not getting what I wanted, he done excellent work! The tile around the shower and tub is very beautiful. Also he would not get the tile I had picked at "Lowes" for the trim for the shower either. I had picked out a very beautiful glass tile for the trim in the shower and tub surround. He picked out something entirely different when it was time to install. I was also very displeased with the high price!

    QUALITY FLOOR COVERING
They have recently done three jobs for us. Two of the jobs were done well. One was laying vinyl tile. The tile had a 3/8" gap to the trim in some places and five tiles were dented. When inspecting the room before it was laid, they told me that if there was a gap, they would fix it. I assumed that was included in price. Not so, they wanted to charge both for material and labor. It would have only taken about 15 minutes to take the baseboard off and do the job right. One carpet started losing fiber right away and continued for a year. They said they knew about that problem but didn't bother to tell us. The last job was installing porcelain tile. The installation was done well but tile has started to look like there are cracks in it.
