The original estimate was 2 to 3 days, the work started August 31 and was finished October 3 the initial roof leak was repaired and leaked the first night and damaged the new drywall, insulation and exhaust fan that was installed the second roof leak was repaired after a few tries. There were many days where labor was not available that pushed the repairs out to over a month.

He did a great job. He made sure all of the flaws in the wall were repaired. He did miss one spot, but I never moved the bed when he was doing that part. I have no complaints and would definitely hire him again.

Great all around. Bill Ward is nice as is his staff. They worked long and hard. Price was excellent. They have done this before and were able to deal with all surprises to be found in a house 110 years old. They kept the area clean and we noticed little dust. The floors look beautiful.

Given the short notice, we expected to have trouble finding a painter but, because we were having an unexpected period of rain, Bill had his guys over to paint whenever they couldn't be working on their scheduled jobs. Not only that, once he was started, they kept going until the job was done, even once the rain stopped. (Note: His other booked interior jobs weren't ready to start yet, he wasn't neglecting them!)
Since we were still living out of town, we expected coordination to be a hassle, but we left a key in a hiding spot and had no problems whatsoever. In fact, having Bill and his crew in and out of the house every few days turned into a huge blessing, as they would do things like bring in the trash cans or let other service people in to the house. Not only that, but while on a break they noticed a side exterior door in bad need of repair and so, during the rest of their breaks that day, they scraped, primed, and painted it for us! He even came back after they were done and we'd gotten carpet installed to touch up the baseboards where the carpet installer dinged them - no charge!
Payment was a breeze. He bore the cost of all materials and only requested payment near the end of a multi-week job. Along the way, he kept us regularly updated with where we were on the budget.
The work itself was great. They noticed the paint we'd chosen wasn't covering the trim well so, rather than bust the budget with additional coats, Bill found a different paint in the same color that covered better and switched over. A bathroom lighting fixture pulled out of its drywall anchors while they were  working (unfortunately not unexpected in a house in bad need of minor maintenance), so Bill patched it and rehung the light. A bathroom vent fan motor burned out, so he suggested an electrician in town. He knew we were new to the area, so he brought us a map and suggested some restaurants and shops. I could go on! Just an all around class act. Always responsive, flexible to changing needs (we kept adding and removing rooms as we tuned in our budget and other project costs came in), and very professional and personable.
We will definitely be calling him when we're ready to do the downstairs!

The service went great. It was phenomenal, and if we ever had to do painting again, we would call them. The job took 3 days. It wouldn't take them that long, but we threw in something last minute, and they had to come back the third day to do the work for us. We are very happy with what they did.

It went very well. Bill was very personal and involved us in all that he was doing. Instead of waiting for the paint to dry and standing around getting paid he put the guys to work doing stuff that we didnt think we could afford him to do! He made the whole process easy and we had fun with Bill. He will be painting for me again!

Excellent work and meticulous attention to the detail work required around the skylights. Very helpful with questions and was open to assistance that was beyond the original scope of work. Final work was flawless. Very punctual.

Joe has painted just about all of the rooms inside our house. Most recently he did our family room, entry hall and master bath. In the master bath he had to remove wallpaper that had been painted over, repair and seal the walls, and then paint. The family room is two stories high so he had to bring in scaffolding to reach the walls and ceiling which were painted. He always does a good job of preparing the surfaces to be painted and is meticulous in painting and cleaning up.

    Buckeye House Painting
I love the job that buckeye house painting did for us. Dan, the owner, was very responsive to our initial contact, even returning a second time when I added rooms to the original job, and their quote was very competitive. The guys were great: punctual, professional and had very clean working habits. I was very impressed with the work that they did, which i think is hard to do when you're spending a lot of money. Our house looked like a completely different house! On our final walk through, I only noticed very minor corrections such as small nail holes and a couple of drips, all of which they took care of before taking their payment. I will definitely be recommending them to friends and neighbors and I plan on using them again this year for our exterior painting job.

The process went great! John was reliable, courteous, punctual, and honest from the beginning. He brought in expert workers to do each phase, and kept us informed of each step along the way and how long it would take. He was especially helpful when dealing with our insurance company, providing them with estimates of his work and all the dimensions they needed for processing the claim. When we ran into a slight problem with matching the original stain for the baseboard, John worked very hard to be accommodating and to match the wood trim. He was pleasant and always available by phone to answer questions. I consider him a friend and would call on him for recommendations and for future jobs in our home.
