The expected delivery date was April 1. When it didn't arrive, I contacted Sears. They could not tell me anything about when it would ship. It finally was shipped and was expected to arrive April 13. I cancelled the order because I couldn't wait that long.

Oven did work after the part was returned but kept getting error code on front panel. So we called again and was told he would check on it. Had to call again and he came out again and after about 20 minutes of trying something my oven no longer worked and told me it would be over 600 dollars to fix. Offered to give back 200 dollars if we gave him the part that was fixed and I refused as I feel that part belongs to us. Did return cost of first visit but that is all. Don't feel that he can own up to his mistakes and should have told us he couldn't fix it.

Mr. Appliance of West Central Ohio
Our gas stove had suddenly stopped lighting, so we scheduled Mr Appliance to come take a look. Technician arrived within the specific timeframe, was professional and courteous. After a quick inspection, she saw that the starter needed replacing, so had to order the part and return a couple of days later to do the install. Stove has been working perfectly ever since.

When requesting service for my refrigerator the first question I was asked was from where was the refrigerator purchased. I responded that it was purchased from Lowe's. He then said that they don't work on them. I wasn't sure what he meant so I then told him that it was a Whirlpool brand. Then he said that they didn't sell Whirlpool so they don't work on them. It would have been nice to know this in advance of calling that Bindel's only service what they sell. For what it may be worth, I don't know what lines they sell.

The installer was quick and professional. The old unit was removed and the entire job was completed in a little over an hour. He cleaned up the area and made sure everything was working and done to our satisfaction.

If you need a TV or other appliance repaired try Jess Service Center 419-424-8901. They arrived on time and fixed our
18 yr old TV in ½ hr and charged me $85. I thought I was going to have to junk the set and buy a new one. I was very happy with the service provided. The technicians were friendly and professional. I will definitely use Jess Service Center for future repairs.

He came on time, was friendly and professional; saw right away what was wrong; gave an estimate and ordered the kits that were needed to make the repairs. They came in short order, he installed them, and it worked for 90 days. When I called to say the exact same thing was going on, they wanted to charge a service call to come out and recheck it. $65.00 is a high amount to pay when you're on a fixed income and have already spent $260.00 for the repairs. I would think he could've looked at it, and if it was something other than what he'd fixed, he'd charge; but if its the same thing he supposedly repaired I would think an ethical person would redo his work. The moral of the may only work for a short time.

When we have called in reference to parts, they have been honest and helpful every time. Bindel's could have made a lot of money off of us had they just taken our order for parts we did not need, but they have consistently walked us through the issue, made suggestions, been correct, and saved us hundreds of dollars!

Our SubZero fridge was needing serviced and they came out once in April, but with the wrong equipment.  Rescheduled for May 5, 2011.  They came and proceeded to try and charge the refrigerant.  I had agreed to pay for the yearly service at the first visit in April and which would have covered the appointment in May.  So, whey they finished "charging" the coolant, they told me they didn't bring the paperwork for the yearly service and would have to pay that separately, an additional $75.  On May 15, 20011 with company at the house and more on the way for the weekend we woke up to the SubZero temp in the fridge being 46 degrees.  I tried calling Skip Tate's Appliances, but on the got the answering machine.  He called later, but by that time we had already  called another company who came out and found the technician had done $300 worth of damange to the coolant.   Still have the part they removed due to the damage.  I called Skip Tate up and let them know what had happened  and asked for a refund on their "repair".  He agreed to refund the money.  That was 2 months ago.  We have talked talked 4 times and he's lied about the check being sent and now no longer returns phone calls.   I wouldn't let them touch another item in my home if they were the last repair service in the world.
