Went great. Just had the first application done so far. After applying the dry fertilizer, they even used a leaf blower to blow the excess fertilizer off my driveway and sidewalks. No company has ever done that before for me. I look forward to their next applications.

They sort of automatically come to do things. They don't wind up asking first. They just do it and I get a bill. There are times when they provide services that I wouldn't necessarily have requested. I'm billed for it and I have to pay for it. I guess I'd rather have them contact me before they come to do an application than just doing it without asking and billing me.

My lawn was sad with turf death from grubs. Next year lawn was the best in the neighborhood. The greenest grass; my neighbors with organic service are so lacking. From my door the greenest grass isn't across the street; it is in my yard!

We asked for the cost to get rid of a lot of creeping charley in our back and front yards and they gave us a reasonable cost. They came out at the beginning of October and again in December. Most of the creeping charley is dead or dying.

They admitted the ortho weed killer they use is the same thing you can buy yourself at Lowes or wal mart. They basically just continue to try to sell you more treatments when their service is terrible and the results are just as bad.  Is there a grade lower than F to give them?  The lawn is half dead and full of weeds.  Stay away from this company if you care about what your lawn looks like at all.

Decided to try something different this year and use organic versus the traditional treatment of the lawn.   Contacted the company and received a detail quote and everything was explained completely.  The cost is a bit higher than my previous company but not by much.   All the treatments were done as explained.  Unfortunately the treatments did not kill all the weeds and the weeds have spread.   I contacted the company and they made a special trip out to the property to determine what weeds (there were numerous types) were on the lawn.   I was told that I could have an additional treatment for the weeds (for an additional cost) but I feel the previous treatments should have addressed it so I did not get the additional treatment.
The lawn is green and the customer service was excellent but I am giving them a fair rating for the quality since I am not convinced that the treatment is better than the traditional chemical method.

After getting quotes from various lawn care companies and talking to our neighbor who uses this company we decided to go with Best lawn Care for the 2013 year. The quote we accepted was for eight applications over the course of this year with two applications using an organic treatment during the summer. We really wanted to go totally organic because of our dog but with past experience we knew that to get rid of the weeds we had at our new house we would need some chemical treatments first. It was raining when the technician first showed up so he returned later that evening and applied the treatment. So far it seems to be working on some of the weeds but I know all cannot be done right away.

Very well.  Both crews arrived when the said that the would.  The tree trimming crew initially missed one area (perhaps because I wasn't explicit enough) and cheerfully came back to do the are that they had missed.  In the lawn areation and seeding, filling in low spots was not part of the original Angie's List offer.  We negotiated a very reasonable rate for the extra work and the dirt necessary, and the man carried out and completed the work the same day.

We have used Jump Start for over 2 years. Our lawn was taken over by weeds. Bill gave a very reasonable estimate for complete reseeding. He also cleaned up and remulched our front flower bed, even moving plants from our backyard to help us cut costs. We have him apply fertilizer and weed control in the spring and summer, and our lawn has stayed very healthy and weed-free. Any time we ask about a larger job, his fees are always reasonable.

They called in early June and scheduled a day for work. They showed up on time with a massive cultivator which ground up all the fill dirt. Then they hand shoveled it into wheelbarrows and redistributed it across all of the low areas of the lawn. They topped this with topsoil, fertilized seeded and mulched with straw. Now, 5 weeks later, I have a new lawn.
