  • If you call them be ready for the most extreme hard sell ever. It gave me a headache. Sales rep will offer you a 10% discount if you sign the contract right then and there. Make sure you have other estimates before you call them so you have other estimates to compare to.

  • Unreliable and unscrupulous company. Took a shortcut in a drain pipe replacement that in turn ruined a brand new wood floor that they installed. During the work they also broke a main branch of supply ducting causing infiltration of dust and debris in the HVAC system. The dust barrier was poorly installed causing dust to fill much of our home, some rooms were heavily contaminated. They declined to honor their own warranty and during BBB investigation tried to deny ever performing the work. Owner Jason Raineri claimed I had installed the floor through another company--despite it being their own subcontractor (they chose!) and I paid for it on the Mayer Plumbing invoice! All this while having to always hunt them down for return calls, appointments, etc. Luckily I keep very detailed records. Their very own technician was astounded at the work his colleagues performed. I have photos, invoices, recorded conversations, emails, etc... anyone can contact me for details if they are considering using this company. Short answer - DON'T!

  • Project was completed on schedule with minimal contract extras. Bennett completed a full kitchen remodeling. They performed the design, which was reviewed with us multiple times before construction. They demolished the walls and ceiling down to studs, installed all new electrical (including a new sub-panel and lighting), drywall, painted, new pantry, hardwood flooring, tile backsplash, new cabinets and quartz countertops. They were upfront about any Issues that came up during construction and compromised on two contract extras. They did use some subcontractors, but they all did a good job. The project manager and construction manager were both responsive to our communications.

  • This renovation far exceeded our expectations. It was our first time having a major renovation done and it was a huge success! Mike is truly talented. His work is meticulous and his finishes are so amazing. I appreciated how he was thorough and made sure everything was done properly. He took our bathroom down to the studs and completely built it from the ground up. He was always easy to contact and was always available to walk you through the details of the project. He was helpful in guiding us on how to select certain finishes as well. We are so thrilled with the result of our bathroom and look forward to having him work on future projects in our home.

  • He was very responsive and he was able to come out quickly to take a look at what we wanted to do for our bathroom remodel. He really seemed to know the business and the work it would entail. However, his customer service was something to be desired. He began with telling us how much work our bathroom would be. We knew it would be a lot of work, that was why we were looking into hiring a professional. We were trying to give him ideas of what we wanted to which he responded with laughing at us and telling us he was just being realistic and we wouldn't be able to do what we wanted. He never asked for a budget so, he really had no idea what we could afford to do. He was mostly focused on how much work it would be instead of providing ideas. He did end up calling a few days later to let us know that he did not want to do our remodel because it would be too much work.

  • The experience was exceptional, as was the final product. Mike takes a ton of pride in his work. He worked with a sense of urgency at all times, (which is nice to see when your kitchen is torn up) yet he is conscientious and careful. He is a true craftsman. Later that year, our house sold in a day. Can you guess why? We hope he will do the kitchen and bathrooms in our new house, when we’re ready.

  • The work went fairly well, but they are not familiar with the details of their product. Once they removed the old counter top, they installed two layers of new plywood. They screwed the top layer of plywood to the layer below with screws too long which protruded into the drawer space below. I complained, their solution was to put gauze and tape on the exposed screws. When removing the old counter top, they dented the range hood. When asked about it, they denied doing any such thing. Lastly, they reinstalled the kitchen sink in a crooked manner. Relative to the painting, they cannot stay within the lines and got paint on the cupboards. We had existing receptacles in the above counter space which required that they make cutouts in the new Granite tiles for the existing receptacles. National Electrical Code requires that the existing electrical back boxes be re-positioned so as to be flush with the new wall surface or install box extensions to achieve the same result. They did neither. In an effort to make a quick departure, the left behind the sealer they applied to the Granite. They used the wrong product leaving me with a mess. The sealer they used was for Terra-Cotta, Quarry Tile, Slate or Stone. Another example of their fine quality work. And as I previously noted, they do not know anything about the product they install. After the Granite was installed, I noted it was considerably darker than the sample they gave me. I asked about this and they claimed the tile installed was the same as the sample. That indeed was correct, but what they were unable to understand was that Granite tile soaks up the moisture from the adhesive below which darkens the tile until it properly dries. They had no idea this was happening to the Granite tile. Another example of "knowledgeable" workmen. They also cleaned their paint brushes in the sink in our garage and splattered the sink as they cleaned their brushes and did not clean up the sink after that. I refused to pay the last 10% of the bill when they refused to make any fixes to their work. They filed a mechanics lien against the property and my only recourse was to pay the remainder of the bill. Angie's List was no help. They said they contacted the contractor and were told by the contractor that the job went fine and I was just being difficult about making my final payment. Apparently, the photo documentary I provided was of no use to anyone.

  • He jumped through hoops to get me a certain toilet i wanted i now have the world's coolest toilet which the bathroom would not have accommodated had he not come up with getting that thing installed. The attention to detail was really, really good. He is first on the list to call (for more projects) once the new year comes.

  • Great. Don did a fantastic job daily with cleanup. He was on time daily, if he was running a little late, he'd contact me immediately. Started the job on a Monday morning, completed by a Saturday the same week.

  • Paul quickly answered all phone msgs and texts. He made recommendations, most of which I took. Am very glad that I did. His assts were efficient, professional and cleaned up after themselves. The work was completed as I wanted, with Paul and I collaborating thruout the work. Paul even let our dogs outside to fenced in yard when they needed. Full service company with lots of smiles.
