Concrete Repair reviews in Fairview Park

Customer service is important to me and a big reason why I chose Concrete Pros. From the initial communication to set up an estimate through projects end, Lori was quick to respond to my emails/phone calls and always happy to help, even when I repeatedly asked about the timing/scheduling of the project. Due to the rainy summer, my project was pushed back a couple months, but Lori kept me updated and it was well worth the wait. When it was time to start the project, the team arrived at 8am on day 1, demolition day, and got right to work. Its amazing how quickly there were able to tear out and dispose of the concrete. They began pouring the concrete on day 2 and were able to get a big section of the driveway done before the threat of rain caused them to stop for the day and even though it never rained, I was okay with the decision as I wanted it done right! They were back on day 3 to finish the job and it looks amazing! John and team were kind, efficient and professional throughout the entire process. John, the owner, was on-site working with the team and happy to talk about the project. One important tip, if you need to have the garage open during the demolition process, buy tarp(s) to cover items in the garage as it can get dirty! Overall, I am extremely happy with my decision to hire Concrete Pros, I have already recommended them to a friend and when the need arises in the future I will hire them again.

Hardcore sales people! May 13, 2017, I signed an estimate for foundation and waterproofing the basement with a very nice salesperson. This was a Saturday. After consulting with family members and others who were knowledgeable about this company history and checked out the reviews online, I decided it will be necessary to cancel. I canceled my check immediately and called Ohio State Waterproofing. They would not cancel over the phone, which is suspicious already but scheduled to cancel personally on May 17, 2017. Canceling the check was not considered valid, according to them. The original sales person brought a pit bull of another sales person along, a so-called 'structural engineer', but after checking his qualifications - it turned out that he is not at all what he says he is. His estimate was double the original amount. Instead of $16, 000+, the estimate became $38, 000+. Unfortunately, I am a gullible senior and trusted these people, so they succeeded in talking me into signing papers. He explained that it is better to do the foundation and waterproofing the correct way. After I was advised by professionals and family members that this is a ripoff, I canceled the second estimate. Of course, they don't do cancel over the phone, again - they have to show up in person to make it official - the second time. Now they are threatening to sue me for the whole amount of the first estimate ($16, 000) since I canceled 'too late' (note: they did come to cancel that estimate originally, but could only schedule after the 3-days allowed, because a phone call was not enough). It is important to note that they would not have even been able to start the job until September! It has been a nightmare - DO NOT HIRE THEM! There are MANY better foundation and waterproofing companies at reasonable prices who are professional and who take cancellations by phone via their personal cell phones. This company is a huge RIP-OFF!!! By the way, the pit-bull had what looked like a gun in his back pocket, which was covered by his shirt. BEWARE!!!

Mr. George responded immediately to my request and provided a prompt response to my question after carefully reviewing information I provided. He appears very knowledgeable and professional and I really value his opinion. Most importantly, he was reasonable. I will not hesitate to work with him in the future.

Driveway looks great and makes a huge difference in the appearance of the house.  Work went quickly - basically 3.5 days to waterproof and pour.  Basement doesn't smell as damp after rain showers.  Happy with the work.

I've been using J&B Concrete for the last couple years. Each time I've had an excellent experience, they are very fast to meet my needs and their work is second to none. This year I needed a couple sidewalks and a driveway apron replaced. They did the work fast and neat, they took the extra steps to ensure I was happy with the finish product. ( Including repairing some asphalt at no charge.) I will continue to use J & B for all my concrete work, with excellent work and a polite staff you can't go wrong. 5 STARS!

Lozinak and Sons did a great job repaved my concrete driveway. During the spring, the company was dealing with weather issues (constant rain) but were able to finish the job in a timely manner (meaning that I didn't have to wait until summer). Owner Jerry was involved in the entire process and even stopped by a few times to check work and answer questions. Many neighbors have remarked about their work and attention to detail. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

Tom from the Great Garage company was amazing. He was very upfront and honest about all the work. He was also excellent on communication, which I especially appreciated since I am a woman and my husband basically let me handle this project. When I first contacted Tom at the GGC, he helped me secure financing because he has contacts at quite a few different banks. Tom also handled all the permits and inspections with the city. They were very flexible working within our schedule (we needed to get a variance with the city, which pushed construction back about a month. Also, we made arrangements for the GGC to tear down the existing structure and wait a couple of days to start the concrete work so we could get a tree company to bring in a lift and remove a tree). All the gentlemen who came to our property were very nice and kept our property as neat as they possibly could. We did have one issue: we discovered we did not have an exterior electrical outlet on the patio section of our garage (new!), and when we contacted Tom, he checked the contract, realized the mistake, and sent the electrician out the next day. Also, our garage was supposed to be 22'x24' with an 8'x24' patio, and the concrete people accidentally poured a 24'x24' with the 8'x24' patio, and the GGC ate the cost, so we got the additional 2' on our garage for free! All together, from start to finish, we had a new garage in a month, and that included the couple of weeks we had to wait for the variance from the city. We are VERY please with our beautiful garage and were more than happy to show our garage off when Tom called us a year later, asking if a potential client could come have a look.

It went well. It took a while to get on Joey's schedule but the quality of work was very good. He replaced some drain tile for me while he was at it to. Very professional. They left the area a little sloppy and I had to put back the sod but the quality of work was outstanding, so no big deal.

Best price by far, they arrived on time and got to work installing the
steps. Did I nice neat job of grouting the steps to the walk and
foundation to insure the steps were secure and level. Only knock on the
product is the finish is not as nicely finished as many, I'd rate it a
B+. It is a brushed finish but just not quite as nice as it might be
but for the savings over other precast steps I found it is well worth
the the slightly diminish visual appeal.
