My dog was newly rescued from an Amish Puppy Mill, so she was naturally very frightened of just about everything and everybody. They were very good with her and did a great job of grooming her. Before I left, I'd booked my next appointment with them and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting a great place to have their dog groomed.

In the 2 days that I waited for them to call me my dog suffered. They are not regular vets and my dog really wasn't a candidate for surgery per their ER doctor. I asked for the referral they instead made an appointment, leading us to think they were going to take care of the dog. Dr. Collins noted that while our dog wasn't necessarily a candidate for surgery he could do it. Think about that your dog may not need a,surgery but these folks are happy to cit and charge. Anyway he then gave us a referral along with a hefty bill just to get that referral. Yes they charged us $172 To tell us even though our dog didn't need the surgery (And we told them we just wanted a referral to a good regular vet to take care of our dog) that they would be happy to do an expensive and unnecessary procedure. These folks are the chop shop of veterinarians.

I was completely blown away by Mel, the owner of Paramount Dog Training. I sent a message through Angie's List and received a reply within hours. We scheduled an assessment at Paramount to see if Bear was ready for training and if I thought that there was a good fit. In the three weeks that I had worked with Bear prior to taking him to Paramount I was only able to teach him "sit". Within about five minutes working with Mel at the assessment, Bear was able to sit and stay. Mel was great to fit me in for the stay and train very quickly. I went for a lesson with Mel and Bear at the end of the first week and I was amazed. Bear was so much more obedient and calm. I went for a quick visit in the middle of the three weeks just for a fix. I picked Bear up today after three weeks and he really is a different dog. I mean this in the best way possible. He still has all of the sweet qualities that drew me to him in the first place, but he is no longer mouthing, he hasn't had a house training issue in three weeks, and he can sit, come, stay, and heel with ease both on and off leash. Mel was able to accomplish in three weeks what would have taken me easily six months or more of frustration to do on my own. I am so much more confident walking and following up on his training because I have had the chance to work with Mel and learn the proper way to communicate with Bear. I cannot recommend him strongly enough.

We've gone to them a long time. I like the whole service. There is a number of vets. It is good. It's a positive experience to go there. They're very sensitive. We had animals die and they helped us through that. So, there is a great sensitivity and there is a great respect and understanding of the relationship between a pet and their owners. The facility is very nice. Pretty easy to get an appointment there. Also, very easy to get. I've had the vets call me about things that had come up I had to call them and they'd call me back. If we have tests done, they call you back personally and let you know about that so they give a lot of personalized service.

As I mentioned previously; I had no other choice than to pick up my pet.

I've been a client for several years and have never been treated in this way. The Grooming Services have been excellent and my pet has been a and quot;daycareand quot; and and quot;boarderand quot; for several years.

Dr. Hicks has always been available for any issues that have come up during her and quot;daycareand quot; stays. He is very receptive to any of her needs while she is there.

Since my pet has numerous and quot;allergiesand quot; The Allergist we see as well as The Internist recommended that she not be vaccinated with the Rabies Vaccine but to get the and quot;Titerand quot; done since she was vaccinated in 2011. The Titer was done on July 3rd, 2014 along with other blood work at The Metro Veterinary Hospital. I tried to explain this to the person I was talking to on Saturday but, since she was so rude and in no listening mood I could not convey this information.

I do not have any documentation of this conversation; only my recollection of it. She called me at about 10:15am Saturday, August 9th, 2014.

Thus, the person who represents this Company / Establishment having a and quot;chip on their shoulder or having a bad dayand quot; should never pass it on to a client or potential one as it certainly will steer them away.

The facility is very clean.  The staff is very friendly.  This was our first visit as we were not satisfied with our old vet.  Dr. Tippin is great!  Would definitely recommend them!

Everything went very well except there was one thing that recently happened, which I am writing about to let other people know.  The collar that the dog uses caused puncture wounds in my small yorkie's neck.  Apparently there are certain types of dogs that have issues with these collars.  I am only writing this because I want everyone to know that you need to be really careful with the collars.  I was told they were completely safe, and my vet also said that the dogs should be fine.  However, the animal hospital told me that many dogs get these or hot spots from wearing the collars.  So my only suggestion is to make sure that you remove the collars when the dogs are inside, and check them regularly to make sure the collars are not hurting them.  My dog will be fine and I was told that he should only wear the collar when going outside to prevent this from happening in the future.
I don't blame the contractor for this, he did a great job.  However, I do think people should be aware that this could occur.

Chris is the ultimate dog trainer. We had our rescued dog Jaxson to 3 other trainers before going to Chris. She was exceptional at understanding his issues and getting him under control. After being in a cage at the pound for over 2 months he was high strong and would not obey but we knew he had a heart of gold. She trained him but more importantly trained us. We would recommend Complete Obedience Dog Training to anybody that wants to learn how to handle their canine.

I've used them for years. It's a really extensive training program. He does 2 weeks in-house with the dog and then train them not only to an electronic caller that you can use anywhere but within the yard inside the fencing system. Then we had 12 private sessions with him working with the dog on standard obedience. We've used this trainer for all of our dogs and he was a canine trainer in the Air Force so he knows his stuff.

They did do much. We were having a little bit of trouble with our dog being calm when people came to the house. She’s a lab and a friendly dog and she wanted to be close to other dogs and not everybody wants a big dog close to them. This trainer said that he can take of that for me and that I should come to this class. Most of the class was like a second level obedience, like she already was trained in that and knew everything. We were in a group and it was not a private session. The one time where I thought the lesson was going to be something that would be helpful with us, he worked with 2 other dogs and I know it was because he could not do what he wanted to do with our dog. He  trains really small dogs. He spent more time telling us about how good he was at training dogs than he really did in anything else. I know there are several other people in the class that were unhappy. We didn’t go back for the last few sessions.
