I have used Lingers lumberjacks on two previous occasions & have been pleased by their work. On this visit, I had them grind out a stump (along with the major roots within 5 feet of the stump). All went well. I sifted the debris from the former spot of the stump, add some topsoil and put down grass seed. Lingers Lumberjacks do excellent work at a fair price.

They were going to send somebody else out to take a second look and never did. They told me what the difficulty was and they said they were going to have a senior arborist come take a look at it and they never did. It was free. They came quickly enough the first time to look at it so everything else was satisfactory except we did not get the revisit that was supposed to happen. It was detailed enough for what the situation was. I will probably use them again.

It was very high quality and they were so professional. The owner came out every day and was such a perfectionist. He would make sure everything was done right and if it wasn't he would make it right. He was also very creative and gave great ideas.

It turned out amazing.  The wood work in our family room dated the room and they painted it a beautiful white and it's transformed the room.  Plus refacing the fireplace with beautiful stone.  It's a different room.  We put hardwood in place of carpet in the dining room and carpet in the other two rooms.  It turned out beautiful!  They did a wonderful job.  Everyone was professional and the job was done quicker than expected.  Very happy with the project and can't wait to do more with Malek Construction!

Wow! Where do I begin? In a word, Dan is stellar.

I have never had the pleasure of working with someone so conscientious, courteous, and most of all professional. He knows what it takes to provide service excellence. Be prepared to have your expectations exceeded!

I called Dan, along with a couple of other landscape light companies, to get them to come out and provide estimates to replace our aging low-voltage lighting system. He called me back within the hour and we talked a bit about the project. He said he would come out the next day. He did, and he was right on time.

At once, I found him to be friendly and enthusiastic about wanting to do the job. Immediately, he had a plan in his mind and described what he wanted to do for the front of our house. He showed me his portfolio of similar lighting jobs and I knew I had the right guy. Rather then just light up the front of the house, Dan preferred a more subtle approach, opting to light the prominent trees, a pair of birches and dogwoods. He also placed a few lighting fixtures to illuminate the house and front path. He showed me lighting fixture samples and even had a battery to operate lights so I could see the intensity and color of the light. His attention to detail sold me; I hired him on the spot.

He showed up early the next day and proceeded to work for the next seven hours. When he was done, he showed me what he had done, and the work was flawless. Cables were buried an inch below the ground surface *and* stapled into the ground, *and* marked with little white flags so I knew where the cable route was. He pre-positioned all lighting fixtures *and* he came out early the next morning to do a final positioning - so he made a second visit - who does that kind of service anymore?

I found his attention to detail and the quality of his workmanship to be superb. SO - I requested that he do the backyard gardens, which was an unplanned project, but we liked his job so much we wanted him to continue.

I must say, we are just amazed at the lighting job he did for us. The house looks so much warmer and welcoming at night, and safer, too. He used just enough light to enhance the house and trees. In short, we were just blown away as his work far exceeded our expectations. We wholeheartedly and without reservation would recommend Dan of Litescapes to anyone out there who wants a high-quality lighting system installed with loving attention to detail and quality; I'd give him an A+ for all categories.

Initially, the experience was good. The service provider was responsive and provided us a initial proposal in a timely fashion. After I was provided with the initial quote/proposal things went down hill. The consultant was not responsive when I inquired about the proposal and if all the items we had discussed were included b/c the quote seemed rather inexpensive from what we had received from their competitors. It took several calls to finally get the consultant to return my call. When he did and I explained that I wanted to make sure that part of the small excavating project (such as moving rocks to areas of the landscape were included in the price) he told me he wasn't sure he could do that part and would have to come back out to the property and take a look. No problem, understandable we wanted to make sure we were on the same page and that the areas that may need some excavating would be done and was included in the price. He also told me he did not do certain parts of excavating even though their website states that excavating is part of their services. Regardless, it was not a big area that needed to be done and was not a deal breaker if they could not do it as our most pressing concern was the yard installation. The consultant said he would get back to me in two days and then after patiently waiting I never heard anything back until about 1.5 weeks later after I left several voicemail and emails to see where we were at. I finally received a voicemail saying not only could they not do the excavating but that also they would not do the job because they were too busy and pushed back now for several months. I remind you this was left on my voicemail. We were very proactive in the process and I reached out to this company in late March so we could set something up to prevent this from happening. We are now starting from the beginning again. All I can say is this was a very disappointing and frustrating experience that I would not wish upon anyone. I have never been told by a company that they were not interested in taking my money. Best of luck if you decide to go with this company.

I have a big yard with many hedges and bushes that needed trimmed and pruned.  They showed up on time, did an excellent job and even ended up trimming and pruning 4 more bushes at no extra cost. The very fast response and professionalism of this company was excellent.  Only one other company out of 5 that I contacted for a quote from Angie's list even bothered to call me back.  The other company that did come out really want to do the work as they lacked equipment and tools to trim some very high hedges.   Flemings quote was higher but I gladly paid it for the quality of work.  They cleared all the branches and even picked up leaves that I hadn't gotten to yet.  They didn't have to do this but they did.  Excellent job.

This company does what they say they will do and generally they are very neat with little to no lawn damage considering the front lawn was water logged.  Tree removal went well, stump removal came a week later after the ground dried out more which is understandable.  All in all a good reliable company.  Only complaint was we asked to have the pieces of the tree lowered with a lift as to avoid heavy dropping possibly cracking the drain pipe in the front yard that ran shallow under ground by the tree..   They did not honor that and the tree was dropped in sections.  No damage done  to the pipe all went well but wonder if I paid for a service I did not get. We asked about it but did not get a reply  I would still recommend them as they were on time, neat and reliable.

Dan is the best! Punctual, professional, concerned and best of all REASONABLE. Some trees were by powerlines and one was old and just waiting to crash during  a storm but Dan and his crew  took em down without a hitch! No mess, no damage and no more worries! Thanks Dan! See you next time.

Sal dropped by and met with the Mrs and I on the set date and time. We had a nice discussion about what we wanted to do and he had some good ideas as well. Sal told us he would get back to us in a week or two with a rough idea of what the project would cost. Well WE ARE STILL WAITING! I called and emailed him and received NO response?! Business must be good to ignore potential clients that have a huge back yard project?!  Completely unprofessional. Stay away from this person/business.
