  • We love Heartland Kennels.  This place was referred to us about 3 years ago, when we were looking around to find  new kennel.  The staff is wonderful and caring.  The kennels are extremely clean and our two chocolate labs come home smelling, not like they have been away at a kennel all week.  We always bath our dogs ourselves when they get home but for a very reasonable fee they do grooming also.  You will not go wrong sending your animals here!( they board cats, too)

  • He was very polite, courteous and professional.  He kept his appointment times exactly on time.  The food was hot and very nicely displayed.  The food was very good.  He owns a poultry company and you can just go to his store and buy poultry.  Then he runs the catering service separately. We may hire him again this summer.

  • It started with calling to make a reservation. They wouldn't let me do a reservation until they saw my dog's shot record. This was a bit of a nuisance, but I'm glad they take the possibility of disease seriously. I then ran by the kennel at lunch and showed them the shot record and made the reservation. The next evening I dropped off my dog. They are open until 8pm, and I got there around 7. There were 5 employees standing around, but the first thing I was told was that boarding was closed. I replied that they were open until 8pm. They said boarding closes at six, and there is normally a fee for a late drop off. I said that their web page says there is only a fee for late pickup. She didn't charge me extra for the late drop off, but either the web page is wrong or the employee is confused. I also told her that I had brought a pill for my dog to take. She asked if I had brought anything to put the pill in for when they give it to her. I had never heard of that before, and said no. She asked if my dog accepted taking a pill by having a hand put in her mouth and I said yes so she took the pill. The next morning when my plans were canceled I went to pick up my dog. In the morning that woman was much nicer. She normally works in the back, but was doing the register since no one else was in. She brought out my dog, who seemed OK from the night at the kennel. I'm not sure if I'll go back to the Puppy Corral. I was really unhappy with the attitude from the woman at the register when I dropped off my dog. The only good thing I can say is that the woman from the back where they take care of the animals was the kind of person I'd want doing that.

  • They were really good and the price was more reasonable than other places. They have kids come to walk the dogs on a regular basis.

  • The facilities are nice and the dogs are happy when I pick them up.
