Basement Waterproofing reviews in Fairlawn

  • I put my info into Angie’s list, and USA waterproofing called me 3 times. I scheduled an appointment for an estimate. They called again to confirm the appointment. On the day of the appointment, they never showed up and never called. I called them and they told me they weren’t sure why nobody showed up and that someone would call me to reschedule. Seriously?

  • Brandon and Crew (2) were very hard working tackling this huge project. Digging to the foundation, redoing drain tile, sealing and coring walls was all done with quality materials. Brandon explained the process clearly as it progressed. Kept me informed on each day's plan. The clay was rock hard, and much of the job had to be hand dug, but the guys were amazing getting through it. This work is messy and can be brutal on the landscape, but Hart left my place looking better than it started. I made a special request that they save seven, 8 ft tall Burning Bushes and replant. Brandon was very accommodating in staging them elsewhere on the property during the 2 weeks of waterproofing, and then prepping their return to the area. Landscaping was completed with attractive River Rock. We are dry, and the landscaping looks fantastic !!! Great Job !!! (with Lifetime Warranty)

  • DRY BASEMENT!!!! I cannot believe how many thousands of dollars two well known Basement Waterproofing companies were going to charge me to fix the WALL! The wall was leaking because the DRAINAGE was not working. I can only wonder, after they replaced the wall, how long it would have been before the bad drainage destroyed THAT wall, too. $850 for a dry basement. Thank God the real problem was identified.

  • Can't be happier.  We had another company come in to give an estimate, and they were going to have to remove KEY landscaping outside the front of our home, and dig down on the OUTSIDE and basically rebuild the basement wall.  The wall was not collapsing...just a BAD leak.  Their estimate was thousands of dollars.
It was my brother in Columbus who tipped me that the water squirting through the cement blocks in our basement could be a problem with drainage.  We called All County Drainage, and they came out and PROPERLY diagnosed the problem.  The drainage pipe was broken.  The water was basically being routed off the roof and into the ground around our basement----the pressure forcing it into the house!
All County Drainage placed a new drainage pipe from the corner of our house to the street.  Great little machinery and good workers did it in a half day, and our basement quit leaking!!! YES!  PRAISE GOD!!!  We are back to having a dry basement.
So, imagine if the other company had just rebuilt the wall?  The water pressure would have destroyed it again.  Very grateful for a proper diagnosis of the problem and for All County Drainage doing great work on our home.

  • The installation went great. They first removed some built-in shelves that were covering where the drain needed to go in and then they got to work on the drain. They did a good job getting the drain in and then putting concrete back over it and plastic panels over the base of the walls. They also put the sump pump in and tested the drain to the street. We weren't sure if the drain was clear so this gave us peace of mind. At the end they cleaned everything up completely and gave us a sump pump demonstration. After letting the concrete set for two weeks they came back and reinstalled the shelves, which we appreciated a lot.
The crew was excellent. They have been working with Pioneer for years and know their job well. They did quality work and were good about answering questions and explaining things.
We had been putting off the waterproofing for years because of bad experiences we had heard of in the past, but this went exactly as I wanted. They did excellent work at a fair price. I wish we had gotten the basement waterproofed years ago.

2/7/16: An update six months later: We have had several runs of hard rains and the basement has stayed completely dry, and I've been able to see excess water going into and on out of the sump. The results are exactly what we wanted and we are still happy we went with Pioneer.

  • I had a very odd conversation with this company.  I stated I just bought a house and have moisture issues in my basement.  I asked if they could help me identify the issue and provide some options.  The man stated that he cannot help me identify the issue and that there is one and only one fix: "waterproof the basement".  I fully understand that waterproofing will fix some issues; but is this a simple issue from a sump pump, a water leak from pipes, a drainage issue, a previous flooding that was not remediated correctly, or you could probably name a number of other possibilities.  Evidently, whatever ails you in the basement, a full external waterproofing will fix you  up.  No thank you.

  • Only one word can describe the work done for s.   EXCELLENT!!

Bill Clink and his crew?s work met all our expectations.   They came with their equipment on June 4th  and began work immediately.  We had two sides of our basement waterproofed, a new sidewalk from back yard to front, and a new concrete patio to replace the

    broken one.

Bill answered all of our questions and kept us informed on any change of plans.

Right after the work was done, we had torrential rainstorms and our basement walls are bone dry.

  • It went excellent.  He said I didn't need his services.  He told me what was wrong with each of the water issues I had in my basement, and he told me how to correct them myself.  I was very happy.  He was very honest, frank and helpful.  He spent close to an hour at my house, gave me great advice and didn't charge me a dime.

  • From start to finish, Clink Builders were top notch, first class.  Mr Clink and all of his employees were delightful to work with.  One employee in particular was unbelievable.  Scott, who did the majority of the work was AMAZING!  So meticulous in everything that he did.  I highly recommend this company.

  • Representative was responsive, quickly coming out to look at our basement and give us a quote. Everything was satisfactory except there was no consideration of the specifics of our situation. The company appears to have a one-size-fits-all for all water leakage issues, and we raised questions about what was causing water leakage in our house, we weren't able to get answers. In the end, we chose not to use the waterproofing service because we were uncertain if such an expensive solution was required. We dealt with problem ourselves with $100 of materials (v. and gt;$7000 estimate).
