    Sievers Security Inc
The advice alone from Sievers saved us hundreds of dollars. They did not try to sell me upgrades that I did not need. I will continue to use them for monitoring, will call them for any and all system adjustments, and would recommend them to everyone.

Great!! Company was easy to deal with and the product is great!! I saved over $700 by buying the deal on Angie's list versus buying from the company directly. Customer service didn't treat any different for acquiring the system from Angie's List. Would recommend this system!!

    POWER ALARM COMPANY
Generally, Power Alarm is a good company with good people. On the downside, their scheduling is atrocious. Initially, Jim, the scheduler, called and tried to set up an appointment for later that same day. I like to schedule appointments in advance. His manner was assertive. I suggested that the next week would be better. He indicated that he would call on the following Monday. Instead, a technician rang the doorbell, knocked on the door and called my cell phone while he was at the door at 9 am on on the next Monday. There was no prior call to make arrangements or any advance notice. This was not a misunderstanding. The scheduling of the service call was purely for the convenience of the scheduler. I was not feeling well, and the technician did not offer to come back later. The scheduling was totalling inconsiderate. If I had not been a long-term customer, I would not have agreed to do any further business with the company. Also, the technician did the work before I had even signed the proposal for the upgrades, I had asked the scheduler about the paperwork, and he must not have followed through. I asked the technician and received the contracts later that day. There were other miscues along the way, but they were stupid stuff and nothing as rude and onerous as the scheduling. When Power Alarm upgraded my system for a new network the previous October, the technician was friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The visit went smoothly, and I learned more about my system and the options available.I would hope that my experience with the company would be more like the former call and less like the latter. Again, there had been a problem with the appointment scheduling, Even though I already had an appointment scheduled, I received an urgent call that I must respond to a letter and set up an appointment for the network upgrade immediately. I discussed my concerns with a manager, and she was very appreciative of the feedback, and she resolved an issue for me. She stressed that customer service is a priority, and my experience was an anomaly. We'll see.

    Great Call
The services that I am supposed to have do not always function. The gps service works on and off. The technicians are not honest. The customer service reps, and technicians are all very rude. Their services and products are geared towards families who have need of medical monitoring. When they call they ask where you are. I ask them to give me that info since it has a gps device for me and their answer is always wrong. The products they state are water proof are not. They don't tell you that if the device is by a body of water or a large rock the device will not work. The product is supposed to be updating in their system every minute. When I call and ask them for when the item last updated they have stated 5/6 days before and now they refuse to give me that information. The company takes not responsibility for issues with their devices. I just want them to make the product accurate Their emergency response telephone line agents are rude and disrespectful. They need to reevaluate their customer service skills and equipment. My first device worked perfectly. I have received a new device that has been faulty since Feb and they have not lived up to their advertisement. Usually parents get this device for their children to deter kidnapping. I want to say it may work it may not.

    Frontpoint
They sent me all the equipment really quickly.  I did try to set up the self stick sensors myself, but broke two of them so they had me send those back.  They then sent me the kind that have to have holes drilled into the doors and frames.  My brother tried doing that and broke two sensors.  So finally I asked for a professional installer, which they sent out.  I didn't have to pay for the installer.  They are very professional and answered all my questions, and did try to help me and my brother.  I have been using the system for a few weeks now and I'm very happy with it.  it's very easy to use.

    SimpliSafe Home Security
It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. So far it has been good. I requested 2 day shipping so I paid extra for that. The deal included 2 free months. It is definitely a good service. There is no contract so that makes sure that they keep giving a good service. The product is reasonably priced. It is very user friendly. It took less than 45 minutes to install all the components. Once I was done with it, I could use it with a cell phone or computer. I added a few extras after I was done, such as fire alarms, water alarms and temperature. Overall I could customize it to my needs. So far it has not been a bad experience. I recommended them to my friends. It is a good value for the money. They were very fast to respond. They shipped on time. They even called to make sure I received the product.

    Great Call
I had two incidents where I had to push it for an emergency that was fire related. I am on the 8th floor. I asked the girl I spoke with on the phone to stay on the line with me. Her job was to keep me calm and stay on the phone, and she disconnected. I had four fireman banging on the door believing that the fire was in my actual apartment, but it was somewhere else in the building. They have been good with most situations, but the two fire emergencies were terrible.

    Frontpoint
Had a call with one of their phone reps to discuss my needs, home layout, etc. to configure the best system for my needs. Very easy and got exactly what I needed.
The installation was simple as it's completely wireless and they walk you through all the programming over-the-phone. Much better than having holes drilled and wires run all over your house.

    Sievers Security Inc
Sievers Security Inc. were very prompt in coming out to give me a quote. They were right on time for the installation and did a good job of installing the system and explaining how to use it. The service has been good.

    Frontpoint
We use Frontpoint security and have for about a year now. The cost is $46.52 a month for their wireless monitoring service. It is super easy to install and the wireless monitoring is very convenient. There are mobile apps to control the system from your mobile device.
Our house was entered by a family member that didn't know we had an alarm system on time. They were completely confused due to how loud the alarm was.. At the same time the alarm went off, both my wife and I immediately received text messages notifying us of the alarm being set off. Within seconds, Frontpoint called me to verify the alarm status. Had I not answered, Frontpoint would have sent the local police department to our house.
We've been very happy with Frontpoint and think that the cost is very much in line with other security options.
The fact that there is no major installation was very nice. Additionally, if we ever move, we can easily take the system with us.
