    I have mixed feelings. I was greeted at the door in a friendly manner but the evaluation/diagnosis of my situation that followed was not thorough, as if the staff wanted to simply breeze through required questions rather than to listen, let alone listen carefully. I was cut short a number of times and it wasn't because I was going on at length. It didn't seem to be a busy night there either so that wouldn't be an excuse. Bedside manner was moderately OK but seemed to be covering an amount of impatience aside from the staff person doing CT scans. Also, the staff did some complaining about patients and also about a few calls coming in about patients from paramedics who were also complaining.  I was in easy earshot of the front desk and could not only hear the staff but also the paramedics over the radio. So, it would seem that a culture of negativity has been created there rather than one that fosters nurturing of patients. I've had just one other ER visit in my life at a different location and found the staff to be much more professional. Also, I had a friend with me who is a practicing RN, and she was even more underwhelmed by what she saw. It wasn't a terrible experience but I wasn't impressed. It's not likely I'd recommend this ER to others. 
    However, my other interactions with different departments at this hospital have been good.

    I've been covered by them for several years. I wasn't told a lot of things about the insurance until I ended up in a hospital. They told me I was covered when I was going into therapy and I wasn't covered and I got a huge bill. I don't know how that happened but it happened. People better ask twice and when they tell you you're covered, you better check again. Not all information is always reliable. They were fine up until I used them.

    Our company provided Meducal Mutual Insurance coverage from August, 2012 - July 2013.  I'm disappointed that the rates went up, as we were forced to change providers when our contract was up this year.  I had one major surgery and one minor surgery during that time period.  All billlings were handled expeditiously and correctly.  I had a problem with Cleveland Clinic billing department; tried three months to get it cleared up, and finally called a representative at Medical Mutual who immediately took charge of the situation and it was cleared up within a couple days.  Very helpful.

    I went with them because they are reasonable enough, and their coverage is excellent. I am satisfied with them. They are a lot cheaper than the other health insurance providers. My husband was very ill last year and for the past years prior to that, and I had no problem with them paying the bills and whatever, they were excellent. He was in and out of the hospital for his treatments every month. I never had problems with them rejecting anything, and they are pretty good about the amounts.

    I had a very good experience. It's extremely convenient and when I need live squad transport that's the first place I go because it's the closest. They are pretty good in accessibility and all you have to do is show up and they will treat you. They are all excellent. The nurses have taken good care of me. They do best they can and they make a very good effort to help.

    I met an entirely new doctor and nurse-practitioner there and both of them were real good. The people with whom I have had dealings there are pretty good. I had gone to an eye doctor there last year for cataract surgery and was well pleased with that. She was excellent.

    This place is wonderful. I checked out a few places before I chose Dayaway. From the first time I contacted them I could tell that they were different - even through the phone they were able to communicate that Dayaway and the staff that worked there had a special calling to help patients and their families struggling with dementia. It's more than a job to them, it's a calling. Without Dayaway, we wouldn't have a family life outside of Auntie's care. We also use and appreciate the nursing staff there that monitors Auntie's health. She also gets her showers there.
