    Kelly Verda LMT, StudioBe
I've had four massages from Kelly to date and have really been helped by the sessions. She gives a very thorough and relaxing massage. She's also very easy to communicate with and is sensitive to what I might need or want during each session.

    Brezine, Dr. Colleen M.
Giving birth for the first time is full of unknowns and anxiety.  Colleen made the experience a very pleasant one for me.  From the moment my water broke through the final moments leading up to my daughter's arrival, Colleen kept me at ease.  Her instructions were clear and kept me focused throughout labor.  After successfully delivering the baby, there were some minor complications with me.  Colleen and the nurses assisting her stayed so collected and calm that it took a few minutes to realize anything was wrong.  She was reassuring about my circumstance and explained what was taking place and why.  There was definitely something comforting in the communication and left me at ease.  Throughout the remainder of my stay, Colleen made regular visits even if she was not the midwife scheduled for rotation.

The facility is beautiful, calming, and very very clean.
The massage I received was unhurried, relaxing and therapeutic --- I tend to carry tension in my neck, and her choice of warm stones and bamboo to augment the massage was wonderful. It was gentle and effective, and I always felt safe and carefully interacted with!

    CHILDTIME LEARNING CTR
Daycare is wonderful and couldn't ask for better infant and toddler teachers. My child is still a toddler but preschool staff seems very nice. Very attentive director and assistant director. It is a very difficult choice to send your child to daycare, find one that meets your standards, and provides a curriculum that will help your child to grow. This center provides loving care in a wonderful learning environment.

Wendy is very intuitive, and incorporates techniques to effectively and efficiently address the underlying issues behind your pain.  She combines a compassionate touch with technical skill for very relaxing results that have been essential to my well-being for the past couple of years!  I attribute a lot of my comfort during pregnancy to regular sessions with Wendy.

Not ever having the experience of a massage therapist before, I have nothing to compare.  However, as soon as I arrived at the New Life Massage Therapy building, I was greeted by Melissa, very sweet and soft spoken, and the soothing scent of Jasmine.  Melissa made me feel better just talking with her!  She didn't just say "Okay, let's go in the room and I'll give you a massage."  She wanted to know everything about the surgery, about thephysical therapy I was receiving - what types of exercises the PTs were having me do, what my working conditions were, etc.  Very thorough.  She explained the different types of therapy they offer and suggested the ones that she believed would be the most beneficial for my situation.
I've never "hurt-so-good"!  Honestly, it wasn't painful, but some of the knots in my back are really bad and she did what needed to be done to get them to start to relax.   After it was over, she didn't 'push' to get me to reschedule, just mentioned that a follow-up in a week or two might be a good idea to continue to help the muscles relax and get back into their correct position...
I had my second session on 11/20/12 and it helped the knots loosen up a bit more...   I plan to sign up for a series of sessions to continue my recovery - and to treat myself!

    Massey, Dr. Suzanna
Called for a massage with Gaynelle. Can't remember if I called and got a same day appointment or if it was a few days later. She does book up on some days. Anyway when I arrived she was waiting for me and took me back to her room. She targeted the areas that I told her I was having problems with. Her hands are strong and provided just the right amount of pressure without pain. After my appointment she provided me with stretches to target my problem areas. I already have another appointment with her to work on some of my other areas!!

    Charleston Community Accupuncture
I had some problems and he fixed it right then. I sat in the chair and he fixed it. He let me sit as long as I needed to. He asked some information about my knuckles and fingers and by the time I left it was great. Availability is great. He is a community acupuncturist. He does not see one at a time but a group of people. I could just walk-in. It was just him and no staff. Bedside manner was very good. He explained everything to me and explained all procedures. Effectiveness of treatment was excellent. On billing, I pay on a scale on what I am available to pay. I would make a special trip down to see him in the future.

    Young, Dr. Aliann
Aliann adjustments are very good.  She helps stretch tight muscles first and then does a gentle adjustment of the spine to realign things.  I've been to other Chiropractors that are not so gentle.  I always leave Aliann's office feeling better.
