APrime ConstructionI can not say enough good things. I was stressing about hiring a company to do the siding on my house because I had heard so many horror stories. Jonny was wonderful to work with through the whole thing!! Even minor obstacles went smoothly. He always got back to me right away and even finished the porch stain himself that I wasn't loving at first! My house looks beautiful thanks to everyone who did great work! ABerger Building ServicesSecond large job Jeff Berger has done for us (gorgeous new kitchen was the first) and we are over-the-moon happy with his work. The new deck is fabulous. We kept the same footprint but everything had to be replaced. The new design has clean lines and looks sophisticated. We also asked Jeff to design & build a covered pavilion. We gave him our ideas and let him run with it and we couldn't be happier! He and his crew are amazing - professional, punctual and quality driven. He isn't cheap but he's worth every single penny. I'm already beginning to plan our next project with him - a total Master Bath Spa remodel!- Cher W.

ADeluxe Door Systems IncWe were able to schedule a repair first thing the next morning. The two-person crew was very quick and finished with 30 minutes. They suggested that we replace the single spring with two springs to even out the tension on the door, something we didn't know was an option. Before leaving, they sprayed the bearings to that door with a silicone lubricant that we already had on hand. We were very happy with the quick response and will hire them again should the need arise.- MIKE & MARSHA A.

AA-1 Quality CarpentryAmazing craftsmanship. Unparalleled work ethic. After seeing the quality of his craftsmanship three plus years after friends had him build a fence, I knew for certain I wanted to work with A-1. I originally called right after I moved into my home to get an estimate. Life being what it is, a number of other projects ended up taking priority. This year was to be the year. With the pandemic, things have been jammed up with many contractors due to labor and material shortages. Jeff was awesomely transparent about the anticipated date and communicative of updated start dates as the original anticipated date arrived. From contract/down payment to completion it was around 4 or 5 months. That said, I wasn’t in a hurry and I am unbelievably pleased with the final results! Cedar cap and trim fencing now surrounds my yard, and extends between my house and neighbors house. He built three custom gates for us (two for my yard, one for my neighbor’s). Other folks in the neighborhood have already been inquiring about it and he literally just finished today. Total build time for 270 lineal feet with the three gates was three and a half days. Do not hesitate to hire him! He is amazing!- Jon S.

AA-1 Quality CarpentryWhile the viral apocalypse delayed construction of this project (totally NOT A-1's fault) , the results were spectacular and worth the wait! The old fence was falling apart and a new one needed to be built. A-1 already built a deck for me a few years back and it's still in excellent condition. When I found out he does fences, I didn't hesitate to hire him again. The new fence is wonderful. He is always a pleasure to work with and extremely professional. He also works very fast. I'm amazed a human being can work as fast and efficient as he does, but he always gets the job done in record time! He does everything by the book and what he builds lasts a long time. I can't say enough good things about all the work that was done. It's the best new fence in my neighborhood. That is for certain!- Nick I.

AThe Garage GurusThese guys did a great job. They demoed the old building and built a new garage and drive. I ask for and was given multiple revisions to the quote before signing on with the project while working out all the details i wanted and Shawn was great about getting back to me with the updates. Pricing was very reasonable. Construction went as scheduled and I am happy with the results. Note that Shawn can be a bit difficult to reach by phone, usually because he was busy wielding a shovel or excavator, but answers emails regularly.- Michael H.

ADeluxe Door Systems IncJohn did a great job. Fast, thorough, and full of advice. Even detected that the problem with the previous spring breaking was worn out bearings, and replaced them. Really appreciated he put in a heavier duty spring, especially since we’ve had 2 break in 28 years. And this one has a lifetime warranty. All this for a very reasonable cost. AOne spring broke. Company came out right away and.installed 2 new springs and check garage door over. They lubricated all moving parts. Tech instructed me on how to maintain door. He also instructed me on how to install bottom rubber liner.

ARequested a quote for old shed removal and building a new shed in a new place in the backyard. Quote was appropriately given. They scheduled the work on July 3rd, even though its an observed holiday day. Johnathan and a helper came, neatly removed the old shed, and very professionally built the new shed. Total of 6 hours+ used in 94 degree hot weather. Highly recommend them to any one who needs shed removal/relocation/build. I selected wood shed as its more durable.

AThey did a nice job. I was happy with them. They came out and gave me a quote. When they came out they told me it needed a separate line in order to work properly. There was no high pressure sales at all. The explained what he needed to do and why. He gave me the quote and validated it up to 60 days. He was able to schedule me in the same week I called him back. They stayed late. Answered my questions about what they were doing as they were doing it.

FWe called Teeters in August because we had a roof leak in our garage (they had installed the roof). The first available time anyone could come was 4 weeks later. So four weeks later Brian Teeters came and to our surprise did not even go up on the roof to investigate. He said he would have one of his guys come out the next week to go up on the roof. Weeks and weeks went by and no one came. We called Teeters repeatedly and sent emails and were either ignored or told someone would be out soon. Finall after no response from Teeters, we called four other roofing companies and all four came out the same week we called. We received estimates either the same day or next day from these four companies. A Teeters employee did finally come, went up on the roof, told us his thoughts, but then never sent an estimate. We obviously chose one of the other roofers to fix our roof leak.

BThe project manager was very responsive. I did have to initiate most communication to verify when work was to be completed and follow up when they said they were working and did not show, but he was prompt to respond. The project kept getting moved out due to issues the crew had with their vehicle. In the sales pitch, I was told about this family company that does the work, but this job was outsourced. The crew did great work, however, they left me a mess to clean up. I collected an oatmeal can full of nails and other debris from my driveway and yard. They removed a metal awning and did not remove the connecting attachments from the ground, leaving sharp metal exposed. Had to remove myself. To do the siding they also removed the electrical line attached to my house, but did not reattach properly. Was told they normally did not do that, was offered a $100 discount, but that would not cover the cost of an electrician to fix. The siding crew also took away more gutter downspouts than they should have and they replaced those with no additional costs, but that was the fault of the siding crew. The end product looks great.
