    Our main water shut off was leaking. Since I had such wonderful service from Richard's Appliance I thought I'd give their plumbers a try. We also needed a new spigot outside. I now have an obnoxious loop of pipe in my utility room. When he replaced the outdoor spigot I was told it's code to need a shut off. That wall is adjacent to a half bath. There was no room in there for a shut off but it was installed anyway. The handle to the shut off was sticking out beyond the dry wall. A large whole was cut in the wall and a panel was forced over it which of course did not fit flush and was crooked to book. Then the baseboard was put on over the panel so it was bowed. We tried to fix the baseboard but by the next morning, we were sick over this mess. We called and the sent a supervisor out. Nothing was changed but they did send out a drywall person. The dry wall person just looked at it and said " they have to fix this. I can't fix it like that." He did call the plumber and had to take the shut off handle off then proceeded to dry wall the whole thing dumping the panel completely. Photos attached. We are not pleased with this part of the company. They refused to fix the horrid loop in the pipe though. While the men were polite I could not give a better rating on professional due to the shoddy work.

    Serviceman seemed to pick up the problem immediately. He put some plastic pieces on under the agitator. Washer worked better, but still goes off balance. 90 day warrantee but I didn't bother because I was in the process of moving. If it would involve the bearings, it would be very expensive. Washer now sitting in garage.

    George spent 3 days working on our 100 year old Cable piano fixing the many, many problems with the instrument. The piano now sounds and plays a million times better and is finally fun to play again. George is extremely knowledgeable and meticulous in his work. Way better that any other piano technician that I have dealt with in the past.

    He was wonderful. Had a last minute emergency and he was here exactly as promised. He took apart the entire dryer to find an emory board in the fan! While he had it apart, he vacuumed the entire machine of all the lint a 10 year old dryer collected! And, he loved answering the questions I asked while he worked. He is now my number one go to guy for any appliance work.

    I called Richards Plumbing/Appliance because my oven wasn't working. The ignitor needed to be replaced. My time slot was betwen 4:00-6:00 pm. Steve, the service tech, called to say he was on his way, was there by 4:10, fixed my stove, tested to make sure it was working properly and was done by 4:45. He explained everything to me. I have been using Richards for years to service all of my appliances. They are friendly, prompt and honest! They will tell you if your appliance is not worth fixing instead of ripping you off. I have no complaints with Richards and will continue to use them.

    It went well.  Total time spent was 30 minutes.  He diagnosed the issue, and had to replace one part.  Additionally, he needed to reset the computer.  He was very knowledgeable and was able to explain why the machine wasn't behaving properly.  With all the electronics in appliances,  technicians need to be certified - which ours was.

    The tech was really friendly and professional.  He helped us make the decision to replace our dryer instead of repair it.  The costs to repair the dryer was more expensive the just purchasing a new one.

    They came and fixed it and when they left it leaked again.The furnace wasn't leaking in a certain spot until they tried to fix it. Then the furnace started leaking in another spot. Horrible experience. We had to find another company to fix it.

    Jim was very professional, on time, and on quote.  He was very helpful with additional design with back splash, flooring, and window treatment.  We have already used him again and referred him to family and friends.

    He was very nice to deal with and showed up on schedule. His prices were reasonable. He fixed our converter box and our tv. He still put our antenna up. He is very polite and easy to work with. I would recommend him to others.
