Hvac Repair reviews in Dublin

    Hetter Heating & Cooling
Our 20 year old A/C system froze. Technician arrived at 8:30 in the 8-12 window which was greatly appreciated. He explained to us that for as old as our system was and that it had never needed refrigerant, being only 1.5-2 lbs low was pretty good. He made no guarantees that this would work since there could be a leak, but we appreciated his honesty in not throwing money into looking for the source of a possible leak. Any repair wouldn't be worth it given the age of the system. Would definitely hire again!

    Atlas Butler
It has been a negative experience over the course of several years. Atlas Butler installed a new furnace and it had many issues from the beginning. Due to the warranty, they replaced the furnace, but that was only the start of the issues. I believe when they installed the second furnace, they used inferior parts, but would charge us to replace them and we had to have the coil replaced twice in less than 8 years. Their technicians are friendly, but have to deal with the inferior equipment installed. We had the maintenance plan, however, our furnace or AC unit frequently broke before we could do the maintenance and were then charged a service fee, parts, and labor for fixing it. When trying to discuss these issues with "supervisors"" I was treated poorly and with few solutions except costly ones for me. I would never utilize their company again and recommend that you do not either. I do not feel that a furnace/AC unit less than 10 years old should have had to be rebuilt twice in that time. They install inferior equipment so that they can charge you each year for something else that breaks. It will be such a relief to never see their truck pull in my driveway again.

Crawford & Son Heating and Cooling
Have hired and fired five HVAC service companies over the past 30+ years. All were big names and big advertisers, but none consistently performed quality and timely services. Most recent one kept sending new and often inexperienced techs to do our summer and winter tune-ups. Some were as clueless about my system as I was. One of my neighbors hired Crawford & Son and took the time to write a rave review of them. I called them and spoke at length with owner Scott and was extremely impressed by his candor and meticulous approach to serving customers. Entered into a service agreement and Scott and his son-in-law just completed our summer tune-up. They did a very thorough job, far more comprehensive than any other company I've used, and explained things about my system that I was never told about, including how to operate it more efficiently and economically throughout the year. I've finally found a highly ethical and professional firm I'm confident we can rely on in the years ahead. Crawford & Son earned their excellent reputation the right way and are proof that an honest and hard-working family business can excel by relying on recommendations from satisfied customers rather than heavy and very expensive advertising.

    Best Service Heating & Cooling
Best Service Heating and Cooling went above and beyond in the installation of our new air conditioner unit. Donnie spent the extra time needed to make sure everything was installed properly and his attention to detail was phenomenal.

    Hilliard-Dublin Heating & Air
Jake arrived on time and thoroughly performed tune-up on furnace. He explained what he was doing as he performed the tune-up. (Note: This provider has more than one location. One of them goes by the name "Pickerington Heating and Cooling" and is in Pickerington, OH. Both locations have excellent reviews on Angie's List.)

    CARE Heating & Cooling Inc
The technician was at my home for about an hour, and serviced my furnace and replaced both parts. I really like this company. Paying for a service contact by month is worth every penny to me and it's very reasonably priced. I also get a discount on any parts that are needed. I highly recommend Care Heating and Cooling.

    Atlas Butler
ABSOLUTELY the WORST consumer experience I have ever had with a purchased product!!! Overpriced equipment, overpriced parts and service, unreliable equipment and terrible customer service. Got stuck having to buy one of their York Systems 12 years ago and have had nothing but problems. Secondary Heat exchanger failed twice in 12 years and had numerous repairs. Service Techs always trying to sell unnecessary items at super inflated prices. They admitted the equipment they installed in the past years has had a high failure rate due to poor design and improper installations resulting in a high rate of heat exchanger failures. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! THERE ARE MUCH BETTER OPTIONS OUT THERE.

    Hubbs Heating & Air LLC
Hubbs performed an annual furnace inspection and replaced the thermostat. The tech (Tyler) was on time, knowledgeable, and thoroughly explained the work performed. The price including the part and service was very fair and I would hire them again.

    CJS Heating and Air Columbus
I was already using CJS for semi-annual maintenance when I learned that I needed to replace my A/C. The project manager, Joe, explained the options for my house, and I never felt pressured to buy the most expensive one. The installers arrived on time, were pleasant, and cleaned up after themselves. If I ever need another A/C or furnace, I'll definitely use CJS because of their excellent service. On another note, I appreciate that they always answer the phone! Any home owner knows how difficult it can be to actually talk to someone when you need work done on your house.

    Columbus Worthington Air
Drainage pipe was clogged. Associate did the work perfectly and professionally. I have no issue with that. My issue is that the $84 diagnosis/travel fee was not absorbed in the total cost of repair, or at least partially. Usually, the diagnosis fee gets applied to the cost of repair. I've seen that in the extreme majority of contractors. This is why I gave a B rating.
