  • After several attempts to find a company who could work with our limited space, awkward dimensions, and urgent time frame, 101 Mobility came to the rescue!  Mr. Donald Wilcox spent literally hours fine-tuning the specs so that an incline wheelchair lift could be installed in our home to the lower level apartment of my disabled brother.  He helped us find the product which would best meet our needs, then pushed the manufacturer to expedite the job because of special medical circumstances.  He even came to take extra measurements on the holiday!  Mr. Wilcox joined his installation crew to put this equipment in place, and it fits perfectly to within an half inch of the allotted space.  We had a slight wiring issue the first day and he and his crew returned almost immediately to get it up and running.  Don Wilcox has a heart of gold; kudos to his company and the manufacturer for going out of their way to help us get this installed for our emergency situation.  Can't say enough good things about them and the product.

  • I first rented a car Harmar scooter lift from 101 mobility and then purchased a car Harmar scooter lift from 101 mobility.  For both installs thy were willing to come to my home due to my special circumstances.  From start to finish everyone I spoke with and the technician who installed the lift was extremely professional and helpful.  Their prices were very reasonable.  Great experience all around.  I have had other mobility items installed (i.e. stair lift, ramp) from another company and have not had the same good experience.  Going forward I will be using 101 mobility. Highly recommend.

  • After sustaining an open compound fracture to my ankle and having to be in a skilled nursing facility because i was non weight bearing, i became strong enough to go home in a whelchair but not able to hop on one foot up three stairs into my one story home. We found we could rent wheelchair ramps. My husband was concerned about the lack of rails on portable ramps so we called 101 Mobility. Donald, the salesman, arrived as promised, determined what we needed, and sent an installer that afternoon. The ramp is very sturdy, with rails and has a 5 ft square platform at top for turnaround. The installer did a good and professional job. The ramp is 13 feet and has a gentle enough slope that I could pull the wheelchair up the ramp by myself in an emergency. We made the initial phone call a week prior to ask for an estimate. Donald did not get back to us at all and we were concerned to use this company at first. Then my husband and the nursing home then got in touch with them and everything went very smoothly and quickly from then on. We couldn't be more grateful for the prompt and professional service. The installation fee was $225 and the monthly fee is $100. To be able to be at home instead of a skilled nursing facility is worth everything to me.
