  • It was all the service of installing the washer and dryer. They had 2 people but they brought both pieces in at the same time. I thought they would bring in one at a time. I had the feeling they wanted to get in and out. I didn't like the hookup either.

  • It turned out to be a piece of crap. The prices are good, but you have to really watch what you are buying. It ended up being such a poor refrigerator, shelves broke and they couldn?t reorder them. Parts weren?t available and it was a brand new refrigerator. They ended up refunding the entire $429 back in March of 2014. They were a little hard to get a hold of. They would take several days sometimes to response to emails or calls. They were professional about the refund, they didn?t give us a hassle.

They were a little hard to get a hold of. They would take several days sometimes to response to emails or I would not use them again because the quality of their stuff is not really worth the money. They get a lot of factory seconds, damaged, ding stuff and off brand manufacturers. The Haier was a cheap Korean made refrigerator. It had recalls and other stuff that we have since learned. The brand itself is crap.

  • They generally delivered within the time that was requested. We tend to go with them. We have used other appliance vendors in the area and most of them have less quality brands that don’t last and just had trouble. I have rarely had trouble with a Kenmore appliance.

  • The sales representatives at this long time family-owned business are extremely knowledgeable about the appliances they sell. They also apply no sales pressure whatsoever, allowing the customer to make an informed decision about which product best addresses all their needs. They answer every question and concern thoroughly. We were particularly impressed with Tom Anthony, who attended to us, and purchased two Bosch dishwashers which were delivered and installed today. The gentleman who installed ours, Jared, was a very experienced pro who took great care in removing the old dishwashers and installing the new ones, ensuring that no damage to cabinetry and hardwood flooring occurred, leaving no traces that he had been here. This was our first purchase, but definitely not our last, from a business that clearly hires high-quality people who know what they are doing, unlike the big box stores against whom they compete. We highly recommend Jack's to everyone who knows the difference.

  • They were terrible. Capital City was the only company my warranty had a contract with so I was forced to use them to have it covered under warranty.  The same Technician came out every time and tried to fix the dishwasher that was brand new but not cleaning the dishes.  He was very moody and treated me like it was my fault he did not fix it the first time.  They gave me 4 hours increments for time of arrival which meant I had to leave work for 4 hours each time. The same Technician came to my house 7 times and never fixed the issue.  I finally threatened them with legal action and after 2 years of horrible service, I received a new dishwasher.

  • Initially the gear assembly had to be replaced. The washer continued to leak some water on the floor after the repair. It took three trips to get the washer to leak so we could determine the source. The repair person fixed it and the washer has been fine since. The gentleman was very professional and candid in answering questions about whether the washer should be replaced or repaired. I would use this provider again.

  • After two full loads of laundry I started to hear loud creaking noises from the hardwood floors in the laundry room. Upon inspection I saw that my hardwood floors were buckling and cracking and the baseboard was pulling away from the wall. What was happening was the water that was supposed to drain into a plumbing pipe was instead running between my walls, under my floor and down into the basement, soaking drywall, insulation and sub-floor and beams! I immediately contacted Lowes to report the problem. The next day they sent an inspector from the store to review the damage who told me that the floors would need to be pulled up and replaced. He said their insurance department would contact me and also mentioned that my issue was not the only problem they have had with these installers - really???? Several days passed and I had not heard from the store nor the insurance department. I called the store several times asking for the store manager to contact me (never heard from him) and even physically went to the store twice to try and speak to the manager (he was never there when I stopped by). Finally after almost two weeks of hearing nothing I went to the store again and spoke to someone who gave me the contact info for the Lowes Corporate Claims Department, who I ended up having to call to get the process started. Not one person from the store or the claims department ever reached out to me, even after I repeatedly requested them to contact me. What an unbelievable lack of customer service or remorse for what their representatives did to my home! Finally I was assigned to a claims representative who told me to get quotes for the repairs. It became my responsibility to identify companies who I could get quotes from and schedule the work to be completed. I spent countless hours of my own time resolving the problems that Lowe's created and I mentioned this to the claims adjuster who said Lowes would only pay for the actual repairs and not any compensation for my trouble. She told me that once the claim was settled they would send me a gift card (which by the way I never received - why promise something like that if you have no intention of following through - it was like rubbing salt in the wound). Three months later my floors and walls were finally fixed!!! I was more than patient and even understand that things happen. What bothered me most was the complete apathy and lack of responsiveness Lowes seemed to have towards the situation. If the store manager had bothered to call me to apologize I think I would feel different. Just think - something that simple could have changed the way I feel about Lowes, but instead I will NEVER under any circumstances give Lowes any business in the future. I also happen to work in real estate and used to give a Lowes gift card as a closing gift to my clients - so not only did they lose me as a customer, I no longer send my clients there. SHAME ON YOU LOWES, SHAME ON YOU!!!!

  • initially quoted 2 week delivery.
after 2 weeks, said stove and sink on back order,
delivery "might " be in 2 weeks.
wouldn't guarantee delivery time, so we canceled entire order.

we had impression that customer service would just lead one on indefinitely

  • Living room carpet had to be replace, stain on the new carpet and installation was sloppy. Bedroom carpet has seam that showed, not replaced or fixed, bathroom had excessive caulking sloppy around the toilet which I asked to have removed and wood shoe was placed at the base of tub where it would get wet from shower. It looked ridiculous there. They came after multiple calls and replaced it with a short strip of vinyl which looked better.
The man who sold these products was very nice and accommodating but did not care for the installation.
